Abstract:Large repeated sequences can cause spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). They expand in size over time in the blood and the brain, and this instability varies between SCAs and brain regions. This research helps us understand how these genetic changes evolve throughout a person's life, providing insights for future therapeutic strategies.
