Abstract:Zur Herstellung möglichst klinkerreduzierter Betone werden in der Praxis bereits seit Jahrzehnten Zementersatzstoffe (Supplementary Cementitious Materials, SCMs) eingesetzt. Da die Verfügbarkeit etablierter SCMs wie Hüttensand oder Flugasche mittelfristig jedoch rückläufig ist und alternative SCMs wie kalzinierte Tone (noch) nicht ohne Weiteres verfügbar sind, sind ternäre oder auch quaternäre Mischungen, bei denen Portlandzementklinker mit Hüttensand oder Flugasche und Kalksteinmehl gemischt wird, ein hochinteressanter Ansatz in der Bindemitteloptimierung. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden die technischen Eigenschaften, die mechanische Leistungsfähigkeit und Dauerhaftigkeit von Betonen, die mit ternären Bindemittelgemischen (sog. klinkereffiziente Zemente) hergestellt wurden, vergleichend betrachtet und in Relation zu den mit der Betonherstellung verbundenen Treibhausgas‐Emissionen (THG‐Emissionen) gestellt. Hierzu wurde eine systematische Literatursichtung durchgeführt und Daten zur Zusammensetzung, zu den Frischbetoneigenschaften, zur Druckfestigkeit, zu den dauerhaftigkeitsrelevanten Eigenschaften und zu den spezifischen THG‐Emissionen der Betone recherchiert und in Form einer Datenbank mit 94 Datensätzen aus verschiedenen Literaturquellen gespeichert. Auf Basis der betrachteten Literaturdaten können die mechanischen sowie dauerhaftigkeitsrelevanten Eigenschaften unter Berücksichtigung der resultierenden THG‐Emissionen systematisch bewertet werden. Hierdurch wird nach Auffassung der Autoren eine zentrale Lücke bei der Bewertung der Nachhaltigkeit neuer ökologischer Betone geschlossen. Translation abstract Concretes with ternary clinker‐efficient cements – Review of the mechanical performance and the durability taking into account the resulting CO2‐emissions In practice, Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs) are readily used employed as to reduce the ecological footprint of cement and concrete production. However, as the availability of established SCMs such as granulated blast furnace slag or fly ash is dwindling and alternative SCMs such as calcined clays are not yet readily available, ternary or even quaternary blends, in which Portland cement clinker is mixed with granulated blast furnace slag or fly ash and limestone powder, are highly interesting approaches in cement optimization. The paper at hand describes and discusses the technical performance of concretes with ternary clinker‐efficient cements, taking into account the resulting CO2‐emissions. Based on a systematic literature review, data on concretes were extracted with regard to the composition as well as the mechanical properties, durability and resulting greenhouse gas emissions and a database with 94 data sets from various literature sources was compiled. Based on the literature data analyzed, the mechanical properties and durability could be systematically evaluated, taking into account the resulting CO2‐emissions.
