Abstract:A variable separation approach is used to obtain localized coherent structures in a generalized (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger system. Applying a special Bäcklund transformation and introducing arbitrary functions of the seed solutions, the abundance of the localized structures of this system are derived. By selecting the arbitrary functions appropriately, some special types of localized exitations such as dromions, dromion lattice, peakons, breathers and instantons are constructed.

Abstract:Starting from a two-line soliton solution of an integrable (2 + 1)-dimensional system in bilinear form, one can find a dromion solution that is localized in all directions for a suitable potential. The interaction between two dromions is studied in detail through the method of figure analysis for a (2 + 1)-dimensional modified Korteweg-deVries (KdV) system, sine-Gordon system and Sawada-Kotera system. Except for a phase shift, there are no changes in the shape and velocity of the dromions after interactions for these models. The interactions of dromions for these models are not only elastic (there is no exchange of energy) but also irrotational (there is no exchange of angular momentum). Abstract:The Myrzakulov–Lakshmanan Equation-II (MLE-II) that refers to the (2 + 1)-dimensional integrable spin system has five various formalisms. In Our current study we will construct new types of the soliton solutions for only one of these forms namely the MLE-II. These new types of soliton solutions will be constructed through three impressive, effective methods that are employed for the first time to this model. These three methods are the generalized Kudryashov method (GKM), the (G'/G)-expansion method and the differential transform method (DTM). The first two methods are applied to extract the soliton solutions of the suggested model while the third one whose initial conditions emerged from the achieved soliton solutions is considered one of famous numerical methods that we will use to obtain the identical numerical solutions for the realized soliton solutions to ensure quality of these soltions. Moreover, we will establish the 2D, 3D plot simulations to show the characteristic for the dynamic of the newly achieved soliton solutions.

Abstract:In this article, we consider the Cauchy problem for the cubic (mass-critical) Zakharov-Kuznetsov equations in dimension two: $$\partial_t u+\partial_{x_1}(\Delta u+u^3)=0,\quad (t,x)\in [0,\infty)\times \mathbb{R}^{2}.$$ For initial data in $H^1$ close to the soliton with a suitable space-decay property, we fully describe the asymptotic behavior of the corresponding solution. More precisely, for such initial data, we show that only three possible behaviors can occur: 1) The solution leaves a tube near soliton in finite time; 2) the solution blows up in finite time; 3) the solution is global and locally converges to a soliton. In addition, we show that for initial data near a soliton with non-positive energy and above the threshold mass, the corresponding solution will blow up as described in Case 2. Our proof is inspired by the techniques developed for mass-critical generalized Korteweg-de Vries equation (gKdV) equation in a similar context by Martel-Merle-Raphaël. More precisely, our proof relies on refined modulation estimates and a modified energy-virial Lyapunov functional. The primary challenge in our problem is the lack of coercivity of the Schrödinger operator which appears in the virial-type estimate. To overcome the difficulty, we apply a transform, which was first introduced in Kenig-Martel [13], to perform the virial computations after converting the original problem to the adjoint one. Th coercivity of the Schrödinger operator in the adjoint problem has been numerically verified by Farah-Holmer-Roudenko-Yang [9].

Abstract:For the (1 + 2)-dimensional AKNS system of lower order, a linear system which separates variables is constructed. It is found out that any nonlinear equation generated by such a linear hyperbolic su(N) system admits solutions which tend to zero in all directions in the space. The solutions given by nth Darboux transformation split up into more than n solitons as t --> infinity. The application to the Davey-Stewartson I equation is considered.

Abstract:This study investigates optical solitons solutions within the framework of the two new (3 + 1)-dimensional integrable wave equations by employing the modified Sardar sub-equation method. The importance of these suggested models span diverse fields including geophysics, seismology, medical imaging, photonics and sensor development. The derived solutions, meticulously verified using Mathematica, encompass a rich array of mathematical functions including trigonometric, hyperbolic, and exponential functions. Visualization techniques, such as 3D plots, 2D plots, density graphs, contour graphs and polar graphs, effectively illustrate the diverse behaviors exhibited by these soliton solutions. These behaviors include lump, periodic, kink, dark, bright, peakons, cuspons, compactons soliton waves and other complex phenomena. Moreover the modulation instability of the consider model is examined, and corresponding conditions are established. The soliton solutions highlight the efficiency and effectiveness of these method in discovering traveling wave solutions, presenting a valuable tool for addressing a range of nonlinear evolution equations arising in diverse scientific fields such as hydrodynamics, optical fiber communications, plasma physics, ocean engineering, nonlinear dynamics, and condensed matter physics.

Abstract:In the first part of the paper we present the dressing method which generates multi-soliton solutions to integrable systems of nonlinear partial differential equations. We compare the approach of Neugebauer with that of Zakharov, Shabat and Mikhailov. In both cases we discuss the group reductions and reductions defined by some multilinear constraints on matrices of the linear problem. The second part of the paper describes the soliton surfaces approach. The so called Sym-Tafel formula simplifies the explicit reconstruction of the surface from the knowledge of its fundamental forms, unifies various integrable nonlinearities and enables one to apply powerful methods of the theory of solitons to geometrical problems. The Darboux-Bianchi-B\"acklund transformation (i.e., the dressing method on the level of soliton surfaces) reconstructs explicitly many classical transformations of XIX century. We present examples of interesting classes of surfaces obtained from spectral problems. In particular, we consider spectral problems in Clifford algebras associated with orthogonal coordinates. Finally, compact formulas for multi-soliton surfaces are discussed and applied for the Localized Induction Equation with axial flow.

Abstract:Infinitely many symmetries for a (2 + 1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation are constructed via the infinitesimal version of the 'dressing' method. These symmetries are proved to constitute an infinite-dimensional Lie algebra which contains some Abelian and Virasoro subalgebras. The hierarchies of equations generated by these symmetries are also considered: these hierarchies of equations are proved to be associated with the isospectral and non-isospectral deformations of the AKNS spectral problem.

Abstract:This study presents the application of the φ6 model expansion technique to find exact solutions for the (3+1)-dimensional space-time fractional modified KdV-Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation under Jumarie's modified Riemann–Liouville derivative (JMRLD). The suggested method captures dark, periodic, traveling, and singular soliton solutions, providing deep insights into wave behavior. Clear graphics demonstrate that the solutions are greatly affected by changes in the fractional order, deepening our understanding and revealing the hidden dynamics of wave propagation. Abstract:A (2+1)-dimensional modified KdV (2DmKdV) system is considered from several perspectives. Firstly, residue symmetry, a type of nonlocal symmetry, and the B"{a}cklund transformation are obtained via the truncated Painlev'{e} expansion method. Subsequently, the residue symmetry is localized to a Lie point symmetry of a prolonged system, from which the finite transformation group is derived. Secondly, the integrability of the 2DmKdV system is examined under the sense of consistent tanh expansion solvability. Simultaneously, explicit soliton-cnoidal wave solutions are provided. Finally, abundant patterns of soliton molecules are presented by imposing the velocity resonance condition on the multiple-soliton solution.

Abstract:We show that the linear systems associated with some integrable hierarchies of the soliton equations in 2 + 1 dimensions can be constrained to integrable hierarchies in 1 + 1 dimensions such that submanifolds solutions of the given systems in 2 + 1 can be obtained by solving the resulting integrable systems in 1 + 1 dimensions. The constraints of the KP hierarchy to the AKNS and Burgers hierarchies respectively are shown in detail and the results of these for the modified KP and 2 + 1 dimensional analogue of the Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon-Kotera-Sawata equations to several integrable systems in 1 + 1 are given.

Abstract:Highly important is a three-dimensional nonlinear partial differential equation because for many physical systems, one can, subject to suitable idealizations, formulate a differential equation that describes how the system changes in time. Thus, this article comprehensively reveals the investigation carried out on a (3+1)-dimensional generalized fifth-order Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation with power-law as well as dual power-law nonlinearities analytically, where the fifth-order term involved is regarded as a dispersion perturbation term. We utilize the well-celebrated Noether's theorem to comprehensively construct conserved currents of the underlying equation. A detailed Lie group analysis of the understudied model consisting of power-law nonlinearities is further performed. This involves performing reductions of the underlying models using their Lie point symmetries. In consequence, various invariants are found. In addition, the equation reduces to diverse ordinary differential equations using its point symmetries and consequently diverse solutions of interest were achieved. Moreover, we derive some solitary wave solutions by invoking the newly introduced logistic function technique for some particular cases of the equation under consideration. In consequence, we achieve some exponential function solutions. In addition, the physical meaning of the results is put on the front burner by revealing the wave dynamics of these solutions via graphical depictions. Finally, the significance of the robust and detailed findings in the work are further corroborated with various real-world applications.

Abstract:In this study, we extend the generalized multilinear variable separation approach to a fifth-order nonlinear evolution equation. By performing asymptotic analysis on the variable separation solution, which is composed of three lower-dimensional functions, we identify a resonant regime governing dromion-dromion/solitoff interactions. In the case of two-dromion interactions, elastic, inelastic, and completely inelastic collisions are possible, while for the dromion-solitoff interaction only inelastic and completely inelastic collisions are permitted. Furthermore, we derive two types of semi-rational solutions from the quadratic function ansatz. In particular, in the scenario of a completely resonant collision between a lump and a line-soliton pair, the lump separates from one line soliton and exists briefly before merging with the other soliton, forming a localized lump in both time and space dimensions. The fusion or fission phenomena between the dromion-dromion/solitoff interaction and the lump-line soliton interaction are shown graphically.
