Construction of Evaluation Index System Based on AHP on the Competence of Kindergarten's Self-made Toys and Teaching Aids

Abstract:One of the most important standards to effectively judge preschool teachers' basic qualities is the ability of making toys and teaching aids by themselves. Given the current situation that there is a lack of an objective evaluation system of this ability and that assessments are generally made based on subjective judgement,this paper proposes an evaluation system based on Analytic Hierarchy Process( AHP). The method evaluates self-made teaching aids based on whether they are educationally aimed,scientifically acceptable,interesting in use,innovative in design,simple in use and safe in handling,with 20 sub-standards to be considered,thus getting an index system providing a quantitive evaluation free from subjective judgement.
