Discrete Choice Analysis on the Anxiety for University Students based on Probit Model

Abstract:In this paper,first-hand material and Probit discrete choice model are used to analyze the anxiety of college students,after study the influence factors of the anxiety and their marginal effects, we get conclusions as follows:The influence of social environment and campus environment factors to college students' anxiety is not so obvious,while personal characteristic factors,interpersonal factors,love psychological factors,employment and family environment factors have significant impacts to the anxiety of college students.Specifically,the students who are introverted,with a furious temper,in higher grades, non-only child,lack of interpersonal communication skills,with poor economic conditions in family,with high expectations from parents and thinking there are unequal phenomena in the employment market are more anxiety.In addition,when love and study or other affaires are on collision,the major and interstate are on collision,or under the pressure from study,students become more anxiety.
