Abstract:Artificial intelligence-based data-driven technologies lead to changes in patient oriented care. Our research aims to leverage technology to address adverse outcomes of preeclampsia, reducing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. In the United States, the mean combined maternal and infant medical care costs for preeclampsia-related expenses average 13,187 for non-preeclamptic cohorts. In alignment with the mission of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, our study proposes an algorithmic approach for early detection of preeclampsia, at just 12 weeks gestation.
