Abstract:In this paper we obtain the sharp quantitative matrix weighted weak type bounds for the Christ--Goldberg maximal operator $M_{W,p}$ in the case $1<p<2$, improving a recent result by Cruz-Uribe and Sweeting. Also, in the scalar setting, we improve a weak type bound obtained in the aforementioned work for Calderón--Zygmund operators.

Abstract:We establish analogs of sharp weighted weak-type bounds for $m$-sublinear operators satisfying sparse form domination, including multilinear Calderón-Zygmund singular integrals. Our results, which hold for general $\vec{p} \in [1,\infty)^m$ and feature quantitative improvements, rely on new local testing conditions and good-$\lambda$ inequalities. We address weak-type bounds in both the change of measure and multiplier settings.

Additionally, we also establish, as an application, the boundedness of a certain class of bounded variation bilinear Fourier multipliers solving a question posted in [Bilinear Fourier multipliers of bounded variation; Int. Math. Res. Not. (2023), no.24, 21943--21975 by Baena-Miret, Carro, Luque and Sanchez-Pascuala].

Abstract:When studying the weighted Hardy-Rellich inequality in $L^2$ with the full gradient replaced by the radial derivative the best constant becomes trivially larger or equal than in the first situation. Our contribution is to determine the new sharp constant and to show that for some part of the weights is strictly larger than before. In some cases we emphasize that the extremals functions of the sharp constant are not radially symmetric.

Abstract:In this paper we introduce some new weighted maximal operators of the partial sums of the Walsh-Fourier series. We prove that for some "optimal" weights these new operators indeed are bounded from the martingale Hardy space $H_{p}$ to the Lebesgue space $\text{weak}-L_{p},$ for $0<p<1.$ Moreover, we also prove sharpness of this result.

Abstract:We prove quantitative, one-weight, weak-type estimates for maximal operators, singular integrals, fractional maximal operators and fractional integral operators. We consider a kind of weak-type inequality that was first studied by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden and later by Cruz-Uribe, Martell and Perez. We obtain quantitative estimates for these operators in both the scalar and matrix weighted setting using sparse domination techniques. Our results extend those obtained by Cruz-Uribe, Isralowitz, Moen, Pott, and Rivera-Ríos for singular integrals and maximal operators when $p=1$.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove some new discrete inequalities with weights of Hardy's type and employ them to establish some properties of discrete weighted Gehring class of sequences satisfying reverse Hölder inequality. Abstract:In this paper, we discuss the Hardy inequality with bilinear operators on general metric measure spaces. We give the characterization of weights for the bilinear Hardy inequality to hold on general metric measure spaces having polar decompositions. We also provide several examples of the results, finding conditions on the weights for integral Hardy inequalities on homogeneous Lie groups, as well as on hyperbolic spaces and more generally on Cartan-Hadamard manifolds.

Abstract:In this paper, we characterize the sharp constant and maximizing functions for weighted Poincaré inequalities. These results lead to refinements of Hardy's inequality obtained by adding remainder terms involving $L^p$ norms. We use techniques that avoid symmetric rearrangement argument, simplifying the analysis of these inequalities in both Euclidean and non-Euclidean contexts. Specifically, this method applies to a variety of settings, such as the Heisenberg group, various Carnot groups and operators expressed as sums of squares of vector fields. Significant examples include the Heisenberg-Greiner operator and the Baouendi-Grushin operator.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish quantitative weak type estimates for operators that are dominated by (fractional) sparse operators in bilinear sense. Specifically, we derive bounds for both the restricted weak type $L^{p,1}\rightarrow L^{q,\infty}$ and the multiplier weak type, the latter of which has been previously considered by Cruz-Uribe and Sweeting. These estimates provide a precise quantification of the mapping properties of the considered operators, extending and refining the existing theory.

Abstract:We present a unified approach to obtain Hardy-type inequalities in the context of nilpotent Lie groups with sharp constants. The unified methodology employed herein allows for exploration of the sharp Hardy inequalities on various Lie group structures and improves previously known inequalities even in the classical Euclidean setting. By leveraging this framework, as an application, we derive new Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg type inequalities both in the classical Euclidean setting and on general homogeneous Lie groups.

Abstract:We investigate necessary and sufficient conditions on the weights for the Hardy-Rellich inequalities to hold, and propose a new way to use the notion of Bessel pair to establish the optimal Hardy-Rellich type inequalities. Our results sharpened earlier Hardy-Rellich and Rellich type inequalities in the literature. We also study several results about the symmetry and symmetry breaking properties of the Rellich type and Hardy-Rellich type inequalities, and then partially answered an open question raised by Ghoussoub and Moradifam. Namely, we will present conditions on the weights such that the Rellich type and Hardy-Rellich type inequalities hold for all functions if and only if the same inequalities hold for all radial functions.

We characterize the validity of the inequality for the composition of the Hardy operator, \begin{equation*} \bigg(\int_a^b \bigg(\int_a^x \bigg(\int_a^t f(s)ds \bigg)^q u(t) dt \bigg)^{\frac{r}{q}} w(x) dx \bigg)^{\frac{1}{r}} \leq C \bigg(\int_a^b f(x)^p v(x) dx \bigg)^{\frac{1}{p}} \end{equation*} for all non-negative measurable functions $f$ on $(a,b)$, $-\infty \leq a < b \leq \infty$. We construct a more straightforward discretization method than those previously presented in the literature, and we provide some new scales of weight characterizations of this inequality in both discrete and continuous forms and we obtain previous characterizations as the special case of the parameter.

Abstract:In \cite{MR447956}, Muckenhoupt and Wheeden formulated a weighted weak $(p,p)$ inequality where the weight for the weak $L^p$ space is treated as a multiplier rather than a measure. They proved such inequalities for the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and the Hilbert transform for weights in the class $A_p$, while also deriving necessary conditions to characterize the weights for which these estimates hold. In this paper, we establish the sufficiency of these conditions for the maximal operator when $p > 1$ and present corresponding results for the fractional maximal operators. This completes the characterization and resolves the open problem posed by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden for $p > 1$.

Abstract:The main result of this paper supports a conjecture by C. Pérez and E. Rela about a very recent result of theirs on self-improving theory. Also, we extend the conclusions of their theorem to the range $p<1$. As an application of our result, we give a unified vision of weighted improved Poincaré-type inequalities in the Euclidean setting, which gathers both weighted improved classical and fractional Poincaré inequalities within an approach which avoids any representation formula. We improve some already known results. Finally, we also explore analog inequalities in the context of metric spaces by means of the already known self-improving results.

Abstract:We prove sufficient conditions on a parameter sequence to determine optimal weights in inequalities for an integer power $\ell$ of the discrete Laplacian on the half-line. By a concrete choice of the parameter sequence, we obtain explicit optimal discrete Rellich ($\ell=2$) and Birman ($\ell\geq3$) weights. For $\ell=1$, we rediscover the optimal Hardy weight of Keller-Pinchover-Pogorzelski. For $\ell=2$, we improve upon the best known Rellich weights due to Gerhat-Krejčiřík-Štampach and Huang-Ye. For $\ell\geq3$, our main result proves a conjecture by Gerhat-Krejčiřík-Štampach and improves the discrete analogue of the classical Birman weight due to Huang-Ye to the optimal.
