Abstract:OSCEs can be used as formative assessments for interns, and residents can be trained as examiners and standardized patients. There is a need to use OSCE regularly to foster competency based learning. No potential conflict of interest was reported by the author(s). She focusses on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Medical Education. Tathagata Biswas is Senior Resident in Psychiatry, AIIMS Bhubaneswar. He is an early-career psychiatrist with a keen interest in general psychiatry, neuropsychiatry and psychopharmacology. He is also actively engaged in psychiatry teaching and training activities. Skarma Spalzang is a young budding psychiatrist from ladakh currently doing senior residency in AIIMS BBSR, he is adept at treating patients with diverse mental and behavioral disorders with interest mainly in General psychiatry, C-L psychiatry and women mental health. Shree Mishra is MD (Psychiatry) and MRCPsychiatry is Associate Professor of Psychiatry with areas of interest in youth mental health at AIIMS and womens mental health at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Priyadarshini Mishra is Additional Professor of Physiology. She has interest in neurophysiology with ongoing research projects on sleep deprivation and emotions, neurodegeneration in OSA, role of sleep spindles in learning and memory. She developed interest in intractable epilepsy while doing ECoG for epilepsy surgery. Consequently she is currently exploring the role of ketogenic diet, sleep architecture and microbiome in drug resistant epilepsy. She is a GSMC FAIMER fellow and is also actively involved in different areas of medical education.
