Abstract:High-entropy solid-solution materials, especially layered ones incorporating five or more near-equimolar components into single-phase crystal structures, may spark functional synergism toward the electrochemistry area because of their unique antisite disordering structures and the synergistic effect of multiple active sites. Herein, high-entropy dittmarite analogues (HEDAs) were synthesized via a mechanochemistry-assisted hydrothermal method. The as-prepared HEDAs have single dittmarite phases with five homogeneously distributed metal elements, exhibiting enhanced activities in oxygen evolution catalysis compared to the single metal counterparts. The Supporting Information is available free of charge at https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsaem.1c03869.More experimental details, Rietveld refinement of XRD data, TGA and DTA pattern of HEDAs, EDX elemental mapping of HEDAs, XRD patterns and FTIR spectra of single metal dittmarite analogues, XRD patterns of NH4MPO4·H2O (M: Cu, Zn), comparison of XRD patterns for NH4(MgMnFeCoNi)PO4·H2O synthesized with and without ball milling, LSV curves of single metal dittmarite analogues, equivalent circuit model for the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, summary of the charge transfer resistance (Rct) and adsorption resistance (Rads) for single-metal dittmarite analogues and HEDAs (PDF)This article has not yet been cited by other publications.
