Abstract:In our published studies, we determined that pathological anti-CD4 IgGs from immunologic nonresponders on virally suppressive ART (CD4 cell counts < 350 cells/μl) mediated CD4 + T cell death via antibody-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), which plays a role in poor CD4 + T cell recovery from ART. Up to 25% of HIV-infected individuals are nonresponders and demonstrate increased morbidity and mortality.

Abstract:Background: The presence of anti-interferon (IFN)-α2 autoantibodies is a strong indicator of severe disease course during viral infections and is observed in autoimmune diseases (e.g., myasthenia gravis). Detection of these autoantibodies during severe bacterial infections is understudied. Multiple anti-IFN-α2 autoantibody screening assays are available. However, the results do not always correlate with the neutralizing capacity of the autoantibodies. Methods: Anti-IFN-α2 antibodies were measured by a Luminex-based assay in serum samples from individuals admitted to the intensive care unit infected with influenza (n = 38), invasive bacteria (n = 152), and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) (n = 52). Anti-IFN-α2 antibodies were also studied in individuals with myasthenia gravis (n = 22) and in healthy individuals (n = 37). Individuals testing positive by Luminex were subsequently tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and tested for nonspecific reactivity and neutralization. Results: Three of 16 Luminex-positive samples had nonspecific reactivity, 11/16 were positive by ELISA, and 10/16 had neutralizing activity. Anti-IFN-α2 antibodies were found in individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2 (7/52), influenza (3/38), invasive bacteria [2/152, of which 1 was Legionella pneumophilia and was 1 Escherichia coli (E. coli) (out of 39 E. coli infections)], and in individuals with myasthenia gravis (2/22). Conclusions: Anti-IFN-α2 autoantibodies were detected in viral infections, myasthenia gravis, and rarely in bacterial infections. ELISA and Luminex screening assays do not give similar results. Nonspecific reactivity and functional assays are necessary to validate the screening test result.
Adverse Events Associated With Anti-IL-23 Agents: Clinical Evidence and Possible Mechanisms

Abstract:Background: Anti-interleukin (IL)-23 agents are widely used for autoimmune disease treatment; however, the safety and risks of specific symptoms have not been systematically assessed. Objectives: The aim of this study was to summarize the characteristics and mechanisms of occurrence of five immunological and non-immunological adverse events caused by different anti-IL-23 agents. Methods: The Cochrane Library, EMBASE, PubMed, and Web of Science databases were searched for eligible randomized clinical trials published from inception through May 1, 2020. Randomized clinical trials that reported at least one type of adverse event after treatment were included, regardless of sex, age, ethnicity, and diagnosis. Two investigators independently screened and extracted the characteristics of the studies, participants, drugs, and adverse event types. The Cochrane Handbook was used to assess the methodological quality of the included randomized clinical trials. Heterogeneity was assessed using the I2 statistic. Meta-regression was applied to determine the sources of heterogeneity, and subgroup analysis was used to identify the factors contributing to adverse events. Results: Forty-eight studies were included in the meta-analysis, comprising 25,624 patients treated with anti-IL-23 agents. Serious immunological or non-immunological adverse events were rare. Anti-IL-12/23-p40 agents appeared to cause adverse events more easily than anti-IL-23-p19 agents. The incidence of cancer did not appear to be related to anti-IL-23 agent treatment, and long-term medication could lead to mental diseases. The prevention of complications should be carefully monitored when administered for over approximately 40 weeks to avoid further adverse reactions, and the incidence of infection was the highest among general immunological adverse events. Conclusions: The application of anti-IL-23 agents induced a series of immunological and non-immunological adverse events, but these agents tend to be well-tolerated with good safety profiles.
Anti-IFI16 antibodies and their relation to disease characteristics in systemic lupus erythematosus

Abstract:Objective: Several studies have shown the presence of anti-IFI16 antibodies in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjögren Syndrome (SjS), systemic sclerosis (SSc) and other autoimmune diseases. However, the significance of anti-IFI16 antibodies in SLE has not been fully characterized. The aim of this study was to investigate associations between anti-IFI16 antibodies and clinical and serologic parameters of SLE. Methods: An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit was used to measure anti-IFI16 antibodies in the sera of 168 SLE patients, 46 patients with any type of primary glomerulonephritis (GN) and 182 healthy controls (HCs). Associations between anti-IFI16 antibodies and clinical and serologic parameters of SLE were statistically evaluated using both univariate and multivariate analysis. Results: Significantly higher anti-IFI16 titres were observed in SLE patients compared to both non-SLE GN and HCs (median levels: 270.1 U/ml vs 132.1 U/ml, p = 0.001, and 52.9 U/ml, p < 0.0001, respectively). With cut-off levels corresponding to the 95th percentile of the control population (113 U/ml), 63% of the SLE patients tested positive for anti-IFI16 autoantibodies, compared to just 24% of patients with primary non-SLE GN and 5% of HCs. The presence of anti-IFI16 antibodies inversely correlated with proteinuria (univariate analysis) and C3 hypocomplementaemia (univariate and multivariate analyses). Conclusions: The inverse correlations observed between anti-IFI16 positivity, proteinuria and C3 hypocomplementaemia suggest that anti-IFI16 antibodies do not contribute to renal inflammation in SLE; indeed they may even prevent complement consumption. Anti-IFI16 antibodies hold the potential to serve as a new biomarker of disease activity in SLE.
Anti-Interleukin-23 Treatment Linked to Improved Clostridioides difficile Infection Survival

Abstract:Clostridioides difficile is a leading cause of healthcare associated infection and an unacceptably high proportion of patients with C. difficile infection die despite conventional antibiotic treatment. Host-directed immunotherapy has been proposed as an ideal treatment modality for C. difficile infection to mitigate the underlying toxin-mediated pathogenic immune response while sparing protective gut microbes. Interleukin-23 monoclonal antibody inhibitors are used extensively to control pro-inflammatory Th17 immune pathways in psoriasis and inflammatory bowel disease that are similarly important during C. difficile infection. We used a large retrospective electronic health record database to test the hypothesis that hospitalized patients with C. difficile infection who are on anti-IL-23 treatment will have improved survival compared to patients without anti-IL-23. 9,301 anti-IL-23 patients had significantly lower probability of all-cause death within 30 days (0.54%) compared with 1:1 propensity-matched control patients (3.1%). IL-23 inhibition is a promising adjunct to C. difficile treatment and further clinical trials repositioning anti-IL-23 monoclonal antibodies from psoriasis and inflammatory bowel disease to C. difficile infection are warranted.

Abstract:Objective Interleukin 12 receptor beta 1 (IL-12R beta 1) deficiency is a primary immunodeficiency that exposes affected individuals to an augmented risk of intracellular pathogen-mediated infections. The paradoxical presence of autoimmune manifestations in immune-deficient patients has been recognized, but the basis of this phenomenon is unclear, with the role of frequent infections being a possible trigger to break tolerance. Our study aimed to analyze extensively a profile of autoantibodies in a clinically well-defined case series of patients with IL-12R beta 1 deficiency. Methods Eight patients with IL-12R beta 1 deficiency referred to Children's Medical Center in Tunis, Tunisia, during 1995-2012 were enrolled in the study. Sixteen age- and gender-matched blood donors served as controls. Serum, liver-related autoantibodies immunoglobulin (Ig)G, IgM, IgA were tested by ELISA and by standard indirect immunofluorescence on Hep-2 cells. Results We found a significant prevalence of liver autoantibodies in the study group. Regarding primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), two of eight patients were positive for MIT3 autoantibodies, both confirmed by immunofluorescence, and one patient was positive for PBC-specific antinuclear antibodies, sp100. Moreover, two patients had significantly increased gamma-glutamyltransferase levels and one had IgM levels twice the upper limit of normal. Intriguingly two patients were positive for anti-actin antibodies; a typical feature of autoimmune hepatitis type 1, along with a significant increase in IgG levels. Conclusions This is the first report of a serological analysis in patients with an IL-12R beta 1 deficiency. Despite the difficulty in interpreting the role of the IL-12, the evidence of liver-specific autoantibodies confirms the importance its signal in liver autoimmunity.

Abstract:Background Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), a life-threatening anemia with rapid onset, is caused by autoantibody directed to self red blood cells (RBCs). Currently, mechanisms underlying AIHA pathogenesis are largely undefined. Here we explored the correlation of IL-33 with AIHA disease activity and evaluated IL-33 based therapeutics in AIHA treatment. Methods Thirty patients diagnosed with AIHA of warm-type autoantibodies without treatment were enrolled and followed up for 6 months. Levels of cytokines including IL-33, IL-4, IL-6 and IL-13 was determined with ELISA. AIHA disease activity was presented by levels of reticulocyte count, hemoglobin and lactate dehydrogenase. Serum RBC-bound IgG autoantibody was detected using anti-IgG antibody with flow cytometry. To evaluate the effect of IL-33 blockade on AIHA development, groups of B6 mice were immunized with rat RBCs plus recombinant IL-33 protein or IL-33 neutralizing antibody respectively and detected for levels of anti-RBC antibody, frequency of reticulocytes and destruction of transfused syngeneic mouse RBCs. Results Serum level of IL-33 was higher in AIHA patients compared with healthy individuals. Of interest, serum IL-33 was positively correlated with AIHA disease activity and sensitive to their changes in AIHA patients under clinical management. Mechanistically, IL-33 could promote the production of anti-RBC autoantibody. Serum IL-33 was closely associated with serum anti-RBC autoantibody and sensitive to their changes in AIHA patients. Accordingly, blockade of IL-33 interfered with AIHA incidence and ameliorated disease activity. Vice vasa, enforced IL-33 promoted AIHA incidence and disease activity. Conclusions IL-33 was a potential biomarker for monitoring disease activity and therapeutic response in AIHA patients. Targeting IL-33 was a promising strategy for controlling autoantibody production in AIHA patients.
IL-23 inhibition for chronic inflammatory disease

Abstract:Biological monoclonal antibody drugs inhibit overactive cytokine signalling that drives chronic inflammatory disease in different organ systems. In the last 10 years, interleukin (IL)-23 inhibitors have attained an important position in the treatment of psoriatic skin and joint disease as well as inflammatory bowel diseases. Addressing an upstream pathological mechanism shared between these disorders, this drug class has high efficacy rates and a durable response that extends dosing intervals up to 3 months. Pooled clinical trial data show objective disease improvement for more than 70% of patients with psoriasis and up to 50% of patients with inflammatory bowel disease. The first antibody inhibitor for IL-23A targeted a p40 subunit shared with IL-12. Subsequently, even greater improvement was established for inhibitors of the p19 protein unique to IL-23A. IL-23 p19 inhibitors elicit clinical response in both bio-naive and bio-exposed patients and show superiority to tumour necrosis factor α inhibitors in plaque psoriasis. Reported differences in efficacy between p19 inhibitors suggest that individual drug action might be modulated by antibody affinity. Although long-term safety data are accumulating, rates of serious adverse events and infections for interleukin (IL)-23 inhibitors are similar to the rates for placebo across approved indications.
Clinical Relevance of Autoantibodies Against Interleukin-2 in Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.

Abstract:BACKGROUND:Increased serum autoantibodies against interleukin-2 (anti-IL-2 autoantibodies) were reported in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and in patients receiving IL-2 therapy. This study aimed to explore the clinical relevance of serum anti-IL-2 autoantibodies and the interactions between low-dose IL-2 therapy and serum anti-IL-2 autoantibodies.METHODS:Serum samples were collected from 152 SLE patients and 100 age- and gender-matched healthy controls (HCs). Among them, 75 SLE patients were followed up for 10 weeks, and all of them were treated with corticosteroids, antimalarials, and/or immunosuppressants. Forty-six out of the 75 SLE patients received low-dose IL-2 therapy additionally. Clinical and laboratory parameters were collected at baseline and week 10. Serum anti-IL-2 autoantibodies were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Compared with HCs, median levels and positive rates of serum anti-IL-2 autoantibodies were higher in SLE patients (32.58 [23.63, 45.23] arbitrary unit [AU] vs. 37.54 [27.88, 60.74] AU, P = 0.006, and 5.0% vs. 18.4%, P = 0.002, respectively). Compared to those without the corresponding disorders, serum anti-IL-2 autoantibody was increased in patients with alopecia (49.79 [36.06, 64.95] AU vs. 35.06 [25.40, 58.46] AU, P = 0.033), but it was decreased in those with lupus nephritis (31.71 [22.60, 43.25] AU vs. 44.15 [31.43, 68.52] AU, P = 0.001). Moreover, serum anti-IL-2 autoantibody was positively correlated with serum IgA (r = 0.229, P = 0.005), total IgG (r = 0.327, P < 0.001), and total IgM (r = 0.164, P = 0.050). Treatment with exogenous IL-2 was not significantly associated with serum anti-IL-2 autoantibody. In addition, no significant difference was found in serum anti-IL-2 autoantibody between responders and nonresponders to low-dose IL-2 therapy.CONCLUSIONS:Serum anti-IL-2 autoantibody was increased and associated with disease severity in SLE. Exogenous low-dose IL-2 did not significantly induce anti-IL-2 autoantibody production.
Neutralizing anti-IFN-γ IgG was increased in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and associated with susceptibility to infection

Abstract:Objectives: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a complicated autoimmune disease, in which infection is a leading cause of death. Some SLE patients clinically presented with recurrent and refractory infections, which manifested as adult-onset immunodeficiency syndrome due to the production of anti-interferon-γ (anti-IFN-γ) autoantibodies. This study aimed to investigate the role of anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies concerning severe infections in SLE patients. Methods: We detected serum levels of anti-IFN-γ IgG/IgM isotypes in SLE patients with severe infections (n = 55), SLE patients without severe infections (n = 120), rheumatoid arthritis (n = 24), ankylosing spondylitis (n = 24), and healthy controls (n = 60). The relationship between anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies and clinical characteristics and laboratory parameters were analyzed. We further evaluated the neutralizing ability of anti-IFN-γ IgG. Results: The level of anti-IFN-γ IgG was significantly elevated in SLE patients with severe infections compared with the other groups (all p < 0.01), and the positive rates of anti-IFN-γ IgG in SLE patients with and without severe infections were 29.1% and 10.8%, respectively. Further analysis indicated that the levels of anti-IFN-γ IgG were positively associated with the SLEDAI score (r = 0.6420, p < 0.001), and it could predict the susceptibility to severe infections in SLE patients. Moreover, the inhibition and function assay showed that purified IgG from anti-IFN-γ IgG-positive SLE patients could neutralize IFN-γ, and further impair IFN-γ-induced STAT1 phosphorylation. Conclusions: The neutralizing anti-IFN-γ IgG might increase the susceptibility to infection in SLE patients, which has important implications for the treatment. Key Points • The role of anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies concerning severe infections in SLE patients remains unknown. • The results of this study reveals that anti-IFN-γ IgG levels were significantly elevated in SLE patients with severe infections. • This study suggests that neutralizing anti-IFN-γ IgG might increase the susceptibility to infection in SLE patients.
Anti-IL12p40 autoantibodies in a teenage girl with multiple recurrent abscesses

Abstract:More frequent among adults, phenocopies may be caused by somatic mutations or anti-cytokine autoantibodies, mimicking the phenotypes of primary immunodeficiencies. A fourteen-year-old girl was referred for a two-year history of weight loss and multiple recurrent abscesses, complicated recurrent pneumonia, pyelonephritis, osteomyelitis, and septic shock, without fever. She had started with nausea, hyporexia, and weight loss, then with abscesses in her hands, knee, ankle, and spleen. She also developed a rib fracture and left thoracic herpes zoster. The patient was cachectic, with normal vital signs, bilateral crackles on chest auscultation, tumefaction of the knee joint, and poorly healed wounds in hands and chest, oozing a yellowish fluid. Chest computed tomography revealed multiple bilateral bronchiectases. Laboratory workup reported chronic anemia, leukocytosis, neutrophilia, mild lymphopenia, thrombocytosis, pan-hypergammaglobulinemia, and elevated acute serum reactants. Lymphocyte subsets were low but present. Mycobacterium tuberculosis was detected via polymerase chain reaction in a bone biopsy specimen from ankle osteomyelitis. Whole-exome sequencing failed to identify a monogenic defect. Interleukin-12 was found markedly elevated in the serum of the patient. Phosphorylation of STAT4, induced by increasing doses of IL-12, was neutralized by patient serum, confirming the presence of anti-IL12 autoantibodies. IL-12 and IL-23 are crucial cytokines in the defense against intracellular microorganisms, the induction of interferon-gamma production by lymphocytes, and other inflammatory functions. Patients who develop neutralizing serum autoantibodies against IL12 manifest late in life with weight loss, multiple recurrent abscesses, poor wound healing, and fistulae. Treatment with anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies was effective.
Anti-cytokine autoantibodies: mechanistic insights and disease associations

Abstract:Anti-cytokine autoantibodies (ACAAs) are increasingly recognized as modulating disease severity in infection, inflammation and autoimmunity. By reducing or augmenting cytokine signalling pathways or by altering the half-life of cytokines in the circulation, ACAAs can be either pathogenic or disease ameliorating. The origins of ACAAs remain unclear. Here, we focus on the most common ACAAs in the context of disease groups with similar characteristics. We review the emerging genetic and environmental factors that are thought to drive their production. We also describe how the profiling of ACAAs should be considered for the early diagnosis, active monitoring, treatment or sub-phenotyping of diseases. Finally, we discuss how understanding the biology of naturally occurring ACAAs can guide therapeutic strategies.

Abstract:Interleukin-33 (IL-33) is a member of the IL-1 cytokine family. It predominantly induces type 2 immune responses and thus is protective against atherosclerosis and nematode infections but contributes to allergic airway inflammation. Interleukin-33 also plays a pivotal role in the development of many autoimmune diseases through mechanisms that are still not fully understood. In this review, we focus on the recent advances in understanding of the expression and function of IL-33 in some autoimmune disorders, aiming to provide insight into its potential role in disease development.

Abstract:We aim at investigating the association between subclinical autoimmunity and immune-related adverse events (irAEs) in a cohort of patients treated by immune checkpoint inhibitors for solid metastatic cancer. In the context of an oncology/rheumatology outpatient clinic, we evaluated patients treated with anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1. Before treatment, each patient underwent a physical evaluation and a blood sample to identify the presence of a set of autoantibodies. Indeed, all the patients were followed during treatment to identify irAEs and to assess the association with autoantibodies. Fifty-one patients (M/F 16/35; median age 70 years, IQR 16.5) were evaluated; 34.8% of patients showed ANA positivity, 6.5% ENA positivity (anti-SSA), 4.3% Ratest positivity, and 2.1% (one patient) ACPA positivity. During a median period of 21 months (IQR 38.75), 39.2% of patients developed irAEs. Musculo-skeletal manifestations, in particular arthritis, were the most frequent. We found a significant association between the positivity for ANA and the development of irAES ( p = 0.03, RR 2.01, 95% CI 1.03–3.92). Furthermore, the progression-free survival was significantly longer in patients developing irAEs compared to those who are not experiencing these events ( p = 0.007). This study underlines the potential role of ANA positivity as a predictive biomarker for the development of irAEs.

Abstract:Background: Neutralizing anti-interferon (IFN)-γ autoantibodies are linked to adult-onset immunodeficiency and opportunistic infections. Methods: To explore whether anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies are associated with disease severity of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), we examined the titers and functional neutralization of anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies in COVID-19 patients. In 127 COVID-19 patients and 22 healthy controls, serum titers of anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies were quantified using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the presence of autoantibodies was verified with immunoblotting assay. The neutralizing capacity against IFN-γ was evaluated with flow cytometry analysis and immunoblotting, and serum cytokines levels were determined using the MULTIPLEX platform. Results: A higher proportion of severe/critical COVID-19 patients had positivity for anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies (18.0%) compared with non-severe patients (3.4%, p < 0.01) or healthy control (HC) (0.0%, p < 0.05). Severe/critical COVID-19 patients also had higher median titers of anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies (5.01) compared with non-severe patients (1.33) or HC (0.44). The immunoblotting assay could verify the detectable anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies and revealed more effective inhibition of signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT1) phosphorylation on THP-1 cells treated with serum samples from anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies-positive patients compared with those from HC (2.21 ± 0.33 versus 4.47 ± 1.64, p < 0.05). In flow-cytometry analysis, sera from autoantibodies-positive patients could also significantly more effectively suppress the STAT1 phosphorylation (median,67.28%, interquartile range [IQR] 55.2-78.0%) compared with serum from HC (median,106.7%, IQR 100.0-117.8%, p < 0.05) or autoantibodies-negative patients (median,105.9%, IQR 85.5-116.3%, p < 0.05). Multivariate analysis revealed that the positivity and titers of anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies were significant predictors of severe/critical COVID-19. Compared with non-severe COVID-19 patients, we reveal that a significantly higher proportion of severe/critical COVID-19 patients are positive for anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies with neutralizing capacity. Conclusion: Our results would add COVID-19 to the list of diseases with the presence of neutralizing anti-IFN-γ autoAbs. Anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies positivity is a potential predictor of severe/critical COVID-19.

Abstract:Autoantibodies are well known as potentially highly harmful antibodies which attack the host via binding to self-antigens, thus causing severe associated diseases and symptoms (e.g. autoimmune diseases). However, detection of autoantibodies to a range of disease-associated antigens has enabled their successful usage as important tools in disease diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. There are several advantages of using such autoantibodies. These include the capacity to measure their presence very early in disease development, their stability, which is often much better than their related antigen, and the capacity to use an array of such autoantibodies for enhanced diagnostics and to better predict prognosis. They may also possess capacity for utilization in therapy, in vivo . In this review both the positive and negative aspects of autoantibodies are critically assessed, including their role in autoimmune diseases, cancers and the global pandemic caused by COVID-19. Important issues related to their detection are also highlighted.

Abstract:Background: Targeting interleukin-23 (IL-23) represents a significant therapeutic avenue for treating ulcerative colitis (UC). Study question: What are the effectiveness and safety of selective inhibitors targeting IL-23p19 and IL-12/23p40 in individuals with moderate-to-severe UC? Data sources: MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, and Cochrane databases. Study design: A systematic search of MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, and Cochrane databases till January 15, 2024, to identify randomized controlled trials comparing IL-23p19 and IL-12/23p40 inhibitors against placebo or active comparators in UC patients. The primary outcome was clinical remission, with secondary outcomes including clinical response, endoscopic remission, and safety profiles during induction and maintenance phases. Using a fixed-effect model, we pooled dichotomous data with risk ratio (RR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) for analysis. Results: In 5 trials involving 1120 patients with moderate to severe UC, targeting IL-23 showed significant superiority in inducing clinical remission [RR: 2.08, 95% CI, (1.66-2.61)], endoscopic remission [RR: 1.73, 95% CI, (1.39-2.16)], and histologic remission [RR: 1.88, 95% CI, (1.34-2.64)]. Additionally, individuals treated with IL-12/23p40 or IL-23p19 antagonists maintained clinical remission [RR: 1.85, 95% CI, (1.53-2.23)], endoscopic remission [RR: 2.03, 95% CI, (1.60-2.57)], and histologic remission [RR: 1.66, 95% CI, (1.11-2.48)]. Targeting IL-23 was linked with a reduced risk of any adverse events (AE) during both induction [RR: 0.94, 95% CI, (0.86-1.02)] and maintenance phases [RR: 0.93, 95% CI, (0.86-0.99)], any serious AE during the induction phase [RR: 0.53, 95% CI, (0.36-0.78)], and withdrawal due to AEs compared to patients receiving placebo during induction [RR: 0.24, 95% CI (0.14, 0.43)]. Conclusion: Targeting IL-23 demonstrates efficacy and safety for inducing and maintaining clinical and endoscopic remission in moderate-to-severe UC patients.
