Abstract:In \cite{MR447956}, Muckenhoupt and Wheeden formulated a weighted weak $(p,p)$ inequality where the weight for the weak $L^p$ space is treated as a multiplier rather than a measure. They proved such inequalities for the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and the Hilbert transform for weights in the class $A_p$, while also deriving necessary conditions to characterize the weights for which these estimates hold. In this paper, we establish the sufficiency of these conditions for the maximal operator when $p > 1$ and present corresponding results for the fractional maximal operators. This completes the characterization and resolves the open problem posed by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden for $p > 1$.

Abstract:In this note we consider weighted conditional type operators between different Orlicz spaces and generalized conditional type Holder inequality that we defined in [2]. Then we give some necessary and sufficient conditions for boundedness of weighted conditional type operators. As a consequence we characterize boundedness of weighted conditional type operators and multiplication operators between different L^p-spaces. Finally, we give some upper and lower bounds for essential norm of weighted conditional type operators.

Abstract:We prove quantitative, one-weight, weak-type estimates for maximal operators, singular integrals, fractional maximal operators and fractional integral operators. We consider a kind of weak-type inequality that was first studied by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden and later by Cruz-Uribe, Martell and Perez. We obtain quantitative estimates for these operators in both the scalar and matrix weighted setting using sparse domination techniques. Our results extend those obtained by Cruz-Uribe, Isralowitz, Moen, Pott, and Rivera-Ríos for singular integrals and maximal operators when $p=1$.

We also discuss the Fefferman-Stein's type weighted inequalities for generalized one-sided maximal function on the same space. Finally, as a corollary, we obtain the Fefferman-Stein's type inequalities for generalized one-sided maximal function on one-sided weighted like Morrey space for a pair of weights.

Abstract:Let be a family of open subsets of a topological space X equipped with a nonnegative Borel measure satisfying some basic properties. We establish sharp quantitative weighted norm inequalities for the Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator associated with in terms of mixed – constants. The main ingredient to prove this result is a sharp form of a weak reverse Hölder inequality for the weights. As an application of this inequality, we also provide a quantitative version of the open property for weights. Next, we prove a covering lemma in this setting and using this lemma establish the endpoint Fefferman–Stein weighted inequality for the maximal operator . Moreover, vector-valued extensions for maximal inequalities are also obtained in this context.

Abstract:In this paper we obtain the sharp quantitative matrix weighted weak type bounds for the Christ--Goldberg maximal operator $M_{W,p}$ in the case $1<p<2$, improving a recent result by Cruz-Uribe and Sweeting. Also, in the scalar setting, we improve a weak type bound obtained in the aforementioned work for Calderón--Zygmund operators.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish quantitative weak type estimates for operators that are dominated by (fractional) sparse operators in bilinear sense. Specifically, we derive bounds for both the restricted weak type $L^{p,1}\rightarrow L^{q,\infty}$ and the multiplier weak type, the latter of which has been previously considered by Cruz-Uribe and Sweeting. These estimates provide a precise quantification of the mapping properties of the considered operators, extending and refining the existing theory.

Abstract:In this article, we prove a weak type $(p,p)$ maximal inequality, $1<p<\infty$, for weighted averages of a positive Dunford-Schwarz operator $T$ acting on a noncommutative $L_p$-space associated to a semifinite von Neumann algebra $\mathcal{M}$, with weights in $W_q$, where $\frac{1}{p}+\frac{1}{q}=1$. This result is then utilized to obtain modulated individual ergodic theorems with $q$-Besicovitch and $q$-Hartman sequences as weights. Multiparameter versions of these results are also investigated.

Abstract:In this paper we introduce some new weighted maximal operators of the partial sums of the Walsh-Fourier series. We prove that for some "optimal" weights these new operators indeed are bounded from the martingale Hardy space $H_{p}$ to the Lebesgue space $\text{weak}-L_{p},$ for $0<p<1.$ Moreover, we also prove sharpness of this result.

Abstract:In this paper, the authors establish the weighted weak and strong type norm inequalities in the set of weighted Herz-type spaces for a vector-valued analogue of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator; and using this, the authors obtain the weightd inequalies for a wide class of sublinear singular operators defined on R n which include the Calderón-Zygmund operators as special cases. For higher rank groups we do under an assumption which holds for the most parts. Let Q be the unit cube in R n and let L Φ ⁢ ( Q ) be the Orlicz space associated to Φ with the norm given by We show that M B satisfies the weak type estimate for all measurable functions f on R n and α > 0 if and only if M B satisfies the weak type estimate for all measurable functions f supported on Q and α > 0 . As a consequence of this equivalence, we prove that if Φ satisfies the above conditions and B is a homothecy invariant basis differentiating integrals of all measurable functions f on R n such that ∫ R n Φ ⁢ ( | f | ) < ∞ , then the associated maximal operator M B satisfies both of the above weak type estimates.

Abstract:Let $S_{\alpha }$ be the multilinear square function defined on the cone with aperture $\alpha \ge 1$. In this paper, we investigate several kinds of weighted norm inequalities for $S_{\alpha }$. We first obtain a sharp weighted estimate in terms of aperture $\alpha $ and $\vec {w} \in A_{\vec {p}}$. By means of some pointwise estimates, we also establish two-weight inequalities including bump and entropy bump estimates, and Fefferman–Stein inequalities with arbitrary weights. Beyond that, we consider the mixed weak type estimates corresponding Sawyer's conjecture, for which a Coifman–Fefferman inequality with the precise $A_{\infty }$ norm is proved. Finally, we present the local decay estimates using the extrapolation techniques and dyadic analysis respectively. All the conclusions aforementioned hold for the Littlewood–Paley $g^*_{\lambda }$ function. Some results are new even in the linear case.

Abstract:In this paper we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of the multidimensional Hausdorff operator on weighted Lebesgue spaces. In particular, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of special type of the multidimensional Hausdorff operator on weighted Lebesgue spaces for monotone radial weight functions. Also, we get similar results for important operators of harmonic analysis which are special cases of the multidimensional Hausdorff operator. The results are illustrated by a number of examples.
