Abstract:We are concerned with the following time-fractional semilinear parabolic problem in the -dimensional whole space with , where denotes the Caputo derivative of order , , and is a nonnegative Radon measure on . The case of formally gives the Fujita-type equation (P) . In particular, we mainly focus on the Fujita critical case . It is well known that the Fujita exponent separates the ranges of for the global-in-time solvability of (P) . In particular, (P) with possesses no global-in-time solutions, and is not locally-in-time solvable in its scale critical space . It is also known that the exponent plays the same role for the global-in-time solvability for (P) . However, the problem (P) with is globally-in-time solvable, and exhibits local-in-time solvability in its scale critical space . The purpose of this paper is to clarify the collapse of the global-in-time solvability and the local-in-time solvability of (P) as approaches .

Abstract:We consider the Cauchy problem for fractional semilinear heat equations with supercritical nonlinearities and establish both necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for local-in-time solvability. We introduce the notion of a dilation-critical singularity (DCS) of the initial data and show that such singularities always exist for a large class of supercritical nonlinearities. Moreover, we provide exact formulae for such singularities.

Abstract:This paper deals with a singular two dimensional initial boundary value problem for a Caputo time fractional parabolic equation supplemented by Neumann and non-local boundary conditions. The well posedness of the posed problem is demonstrated in a fractional weighted Sobolev space. The used method based on some functional analysis tools has been successfully showed its efficiency in proving the existence, uniqueness and continuous dependence of the solution upon the given data of the considered problem. More precisely, for proving the uniqueness of the solution of the posed problem, we established an energy inequality for the solution from which we deduce the uniqueness. For the existence, we proved that the range of the operator generated by the considered problem is dense.

Abstract:In this paper we obtain necessary conditions on the initial value for the solvability of the Cauchy problem for semilinear heat equations. These necessary conditions were already obtained in the framework of integral solutions, but not in that of very weak ones. We establish a new proof method, which can derive the desired conditions in the framework of very weak solutions. In particular, since any integral solution is a very weak solution, our conditions are more general.

Abstract:The existence of a solution to the parabolic system with the fractional Laplacian (−Δ) α /2 , α > 0 is proven, this solution decays at different rates along different time sequences going to infinity. As an application, the existence of a solution to the generalized Navier-Stokes equations is proven, which decays at different rates along different time sequences going to infinity. The generalized Navier-Stokes equations are the equations resulting from replacing −Δ in the Navier-Stokes equations by (−Δ) m , m > 0. At last, a similar result for 3-D incompressible anisotropic Navier-Stokes system is obtained.

Abstract:This paper tackles a class of nonlinear parabolic equations driven by the fractional p -Laplacian operator with a vanishing initial datum. Our primary aim is to investigate the well-posedness (existence and uniqueness) of solutions to the proposed model. Notably, we will establish two interesting results concerning the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions. The first result pertains to the scenario where the source term is independent of the solution. In this case, we demonstrate the existence and uniqueness of the solution via the classical monotone operator theory modulus vanishing initial datum. The second result deals with the case where the source term is nonlinear and strongly dependent on the solution. To establish the existence of a weak solution in this scenario, we will rely essentially on the use of Schaefer's fixed point theorem and supplement our approach with some new technical estimates.

Abstract:In this paper, we derive sufficient conditions on initial data for the local-in-time solvability of a time-fractional semilinear heat equation with the Fujita exponent in a uniformly local weak Zygmund type space. It is known that the time-fractional problem with the Fujita exponent in the scale critical space $L^1(\mathbb{R}^N)$ exhibits the local-in-time solvability in contrast to the unsolvability of the Fujita critical classical semilinear heat equation. Our new sufficient conditions take into account the fine structure of singularities of the initial data, in order to show a natural correspondance between the time-fractional and the classical case for the local-in-time solvability. We also apply our arguments to life span estimates for some typical initial data.

Abstract:This paper focuses on the global solvability for the Boussinesq system with fractional Laplacian $(-\Delta)^{\alpha}$ in $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ for $n\geq3$. It proves the existence of a small positive number $\varepsilon=\varepsilon(n,\alpha)$ such that for each $0<T<\infty$, if $\frac{1}{2}<\alpha<\frac{2+n}{4}$ and $\|u_{0}\|_{\dot{H}^{s_{0}}}+T^{1/2}\|\theta_{0}\|_{\dot{H}^{s_{0}-\alpha}}\leq \varepsilon$, then the fractional Boussinesq system has a unique strong solution on the bounded interval $[0,T]$. If $\frac{1}{2}<\alpha<\frac{2+n}{6}$ and $\|u_{0}\|_{\dot{H}^{s_{0}}}+\|\theta_{0}\|_{\dot{H}^{s_{0}-2\alpha}}\leq \varepsilon$, then the fractional Boussinesq system has a unique strong solution on the whole interval $[0,\infty)$.

Abstract:Abstract In this paper, we concern about a modified version of the Keller-Segel model. The Keller-Segel is a system of partial differential equations used for modeling Chemotaxis in which chemical substances impact the movement of mobile species. For considering memory effects on the model, we replace the classical derivative with respect to time variable by the time-fractional derivative in the sense of Caputo. From this modification, we focus on the well-posedness of the Cauchy problem associated with such the model. Precisely, when the spatial variable is considered in the space R d {{\mathbb{R}}}^{d} , a global solution is obtained in a critical homogeneous Besov space with the assumption that the initial datum is sufficiently small. For the bounded domain case, by using a discrete spectrum of the Neumann Laplace operator, we provide the existence and uniqueness of a mild solution in Hilbert scale spaces. Moreover, the blowup behavior is also studied. To overcome the challenges of the problem and obtain all the aforementioned results, we use the Banach fixed point theorem, some special functions like the Mainardi function and the Mittag-Leffler function, as well as their properties.

Abstract:We study a nonlinear, nonlocal Dirichlet problem driven by the fractional p-Laplacian, involving a (p-1)-sublinear reaction. By means of a weak comparison principle we prove uniqueness of the solution. Also, comparing the problem to 'asymptotic' weighted eigenvalue problems for the same operator, we prove a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a solution. Our work extends classical results due to Brezis-Oswald and Diaz-Saa to the quasilinear nonlocal framework.
