Abstract:In this paper, we investigate a nonlinear <math>ψ−</math>Hilfer fractional integro-differential equation on an unbounded domain <math>[a,+∞)</math>. Firstly, the existence and uniqueness of solution for the equation is proved by means of Banach contraction mapping principle based on suitable growth conditions in an appropriate Banach space. Moreover the stability of Ulam-Hyers-Rassias, Ulam-Hyers and Semi-Ulam-Hyers-Rassias to the initial value problem are obtained.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate two types of problems (the initial-value problem and nonlocal Cauchy problem) for fractional differential equations involving ψ -Hilfer derivative in multivariable case ( ψ - m -Hilfer derivative). First we propose and discuss ψ -fractional integral, ψ -fractional derivative and ψ -Hilfer type fractional derivative of a multivariable function f : ℝ m → ℝ ( m is a positive integer). Then, using the properties of the ψ - m -Hilfer fractional derivative with m = 1 (the ψ -Hilfer derivative), we derive an equivalent relationship between solutions to the initial-value (Cauchy) problem and solutions to some integral equations, and also present an existence and uniqueness theorem. Based on the equivalency relationship, we establish new and general existence results for the nonlocal Cauchy problem of fractional differential equations involving ψ -Hilfer multivariable operators in the space of weighted continuous functions. Moreover, we obtain a new Gronwall-type inequality with singular kernel, and derive the dependence of the solution on the order and the initial condition for the fractional Cauchy problem with the help of this Gronwall-type inequality. Finally, some examples are given to illustrate our results. Compared with the recent paper [2] and other previous works, the novelties in this paper are in treating the multivariable case of operators ( f : ℝ m → ℝ, m is a positive integer).

We improve a property of a measure of noncompactness in a suitably selected Banach space. Darbo’s fixed point theorem is applied to obtain a new existence result. Abstract:This article aims to explore the existence and stability of solutions to differential equations involving a ψ-Hilfer fractional derivative in the Caputo sense, which, compared to classical ψ-Hilfer fractional derivatives (in the Riemann–Liouville sense), provide a clear physical interpretation when dealing with initial conditions. We discovered that the ψ-Hilfer fractional derivative in the Caputo sense can be represented as the inverse operation of the ψ-Riemann–Liouville fractional integral, and used this property to prove the existence of solutions for linear differential equations with a ψ-Hilfer fractional derivative in the Caputo sense. Additionally, we applied Mönch's fixed-point theorem and knowledge of non-compactness measures to demonstrate the existence of solutions for nonlinear differential equations with a ψ-Hilfer fractional derivative in the Caputo sense, and further discussed the Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability and semi-Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability of these solutions. Finally, we illustrated our results through case studies.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate a sequential fractional boundary value problem which contains a combination of Hilfer and Caputo fractional derivative operators and non-separated boundary conditions. We establish the existence of a unique solution via Banach's fixed point theorem, while by applying Leray–Schauder's nonlinear alternative, we prove an existence result. Finally, examples are provided to demonstrate the results obtained.

Abstract:This paper is dedicated to studying the existence results of solutions to the nonlinear coupled system of Hilfer fractional differential equations and inclusions, with multi-strip and multi-point mixed boundary conditions. Through tools such as the Leray-Schauder alternative and the nonlinear alternative of Leray-Schauder type, continuous and measurable selection theorems, along with Leray-Schauder degree theory, the main results can be obtained. The Hilfer fractional differential system has practical implications for specific physical phenomena. Examples are provided to clarify the application of our main results.

Abstract:We formulate fractional difference equations of Riemann-Liouville and Caputo type in a functional analytical framework. Main results are existence of solutions on Hilbert space-valued weighted sequence spaces and a condition for stability of linear fractional difference equations. Using a functional calculus, we relate the fractional sum to fractional powers of the operator $1 - \tau^{-1}$ with the right shift $\tau^{-1}$ on weighted sequence spaces. Causality of the solution operator plays a crucial role for the description of initial value problems.

Abstract:This paper considers a nonlinear fractional-order boundary value problem HDa,gα1,β,μx(t)+f(t,x(t),HDa,gα2,β,μx(t))=0, for t∈[a,b], α1∈(1,2], α2∈(0,1], β∈[0,1] with appropriate integral boundary conditions on the Hölder spaces. Here, f is a real-valued function that satisfies the Hölder condition, and HDa,gα,β,μ represents the tempered-Hilfer fractional derivative of order α>0 with parameter μ∈R+ and type β∈[0,1]. The corresponding integral problem is introduced in the study of this issue. This paper addresses a fundamental issue in the field, namely the circumstances under which differential and integral problems are equivalent. This approach enables the study of differential problems using integral operators. In order to achieve this, tempered fractional calculus and the equivalence problem of the studied problems are introduced and studied. The selection of an appropriate function space is of fundamental importance. This paper investigates the applicability of these operators on Hölder spaces and provides a comprehensive rationale for this choice.

The existence and uniqueness of solutions is established by Banach’s fixed point theorem, whereas the existence of solutions is derived from Schaefer’s fixed point theorem. Furthermore, we present and discuss different types of Ulam stability. At the end, some illustrative examples are presented.

Abstract:This paper deals with a singular two dimensional initial boundary value problem for a Caputo time fractional parabolic equation supplemented by Neumann and non-local boundary conditions. The well posedness of the posed problem is demonstrated in a fractional weighted Sobolev space. The used method based on some functional analysis tools has been successfully showed its efficiency in proving the existence, uniqueness and continuous dependence of the solution upon the given data of the considered problem. More precisely, for proving the uniqueness of the solution of the posed problem, we established an energy inequality for the solution from which we deduce the uniqueness. For the existence, we proved that the range of the operator generated by the considered problem is dense.

Abstract:This paper deals with the investigation of the solution of an unified fractional reaction-diffusion equation associated with the Caputo derivative as the time-derivative and Riesz-Feller fractional derivative as the space-derivative. The solution is derived by the application of the Laplace and Fourier transforms in closed form in terms of the H-function. The results derived are of general nature and include the results investigated earlier by many authors, notably by Mainardi et al. (2001, 2005) for the fundamental solution of the space-time fractional diffusion equation, and Saxena et al. (2006a, b) for fractional reaction- diffusion equations. The advantage of using Riesz-Feller derivative lies in the fact that the solution of the fractional reaction-diffusion equation containing this derivative includes the fundamental solution for space-time fractional diffusion, which itself is a generalization of neutral fractional diffusion, space-fractional diffusion, and time-fractional diffusion. These specialized types of diffusion can be interpreted as spatial probability density functions evolving in time and are expressible in terms of the H-functions in compact form.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate an initial value problem for a nonlinear fractional differential equation on an infinite interval. The differential operator is taken in the Hadamard sense and the nonlinear term involves two lower-order fractional derivatives of the unknown function. In order to establish the global existence criteria, we first verify that there exists a unique positive solution to an integral equation based on a class of new integral inequality. Next, we construct a locally convex space, which is metrizable and complete. On this space, applying Schäuder's fixed point theorem, we obtain the existence of at least one solution to the initial value problem.
