Abstract:In modern conditions, there is a constant expansion of sales markets, and the turnover of organizations is growing. This leads to a large volume of cash flows and contract items, and those, in their turn, generate receivables. However, there has been an increase in the number of fly-by-night firms recently. It is quite difficult to recognize the fraudulent nature of such companies before starting a contractual relationship with them. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor not only the current accounts receivable but also the reputation of potential customers, in particular, their solvency. It is also recommended to pay attention to the potential client's reputation. During the economic downturn, many large companies are forced to deal with large amounts of accounts receivable. If this debt is not repaid, the general functioning of the company is disrupted, since it no longer has the funds to cover its expenses. This situation may lead to the company's bankruptcy. In order to correctly calculate debt and regulate it in a timely manner, it is necessary to manage accounts receivable in an appropriate and competent manner, which is an important component of the company's liquidity and solvency, as well as its image. An excessively high amount of accounts receivable will result in an increase of repayment periods, as well as reduce turnover and increase the company's financial cycle. Effective management of accounts receivable of an enterprise requires a clear understanding of the economic content and classification thereof, which should be diverse and meet the information needs of the managers. The main goal of this paper is to examine the accounts receivable management process from the point of view of digitalization. In order to achieve the objective, it is necessary to perform the following tasks: to examine the nature of AR management; to outline the problems of management in the remote mode; to examine the process of digitalization, its benefits and shortcomings in the implementation of receivables management, as well as to suggest the most efficient software products that you can use to achieve and improve efficiency in receivables management. The methodology of this paper consists of the following stages: determination of the essence and methods of accounts receivable management; highlighting the main problems arising in the process of asset management; definition of the essence of the concept of digitalization, its advantages and disadvantages; studying the management of accounts receivable in the context of automation. In the work would be used the following research methods: review of scientific literature, comparison, observation, systematization.
