Abstract:A 17-year-old female patient with no reported allergies or comorbidities presented with a history of left hemifacial swelling that had been ongoing for two months. She initially sought care at an emergency unit where she was diagnosed with sinusitis and prescribed azithromycin. However, her condition did not improve, and she subsequently sought another healthcare service. She was then referred to an emergency hospital and admitted under the care of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery sector. On clinical examination, there was a mild left facial asymmetry with increased volume noted at the lower portion of the upper left buccal vestibule, specifically in the canine region.
