Abstract:A 52-year-old female was referred to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery service due to a complaint of "discomfort in the mouth." Her medical history indicated a diagnosis of Sjogren's syndrome eleven years prior, and she had been under the care of a rheumatologist since then. Upon intraoral examination, a diffuse erythematous ulcerated swelling with raised borders, measuring 3.0 cm at its largest diameter, was identified on the hard and soft palate. Clinical diagnoses considered the possibility of a lymphoproliferative disorder or a salivary gland tumor.
