Abstract:Artificial Intelligence is a significant innovation that is an important part of our day-to-day lives as well as our industry. Today, artificial intelligence is a rapidly advancing innovation in our daily lives. From the Innovation Industry to ordinary people, it will change the way of life. A human's state is updated by the AI at every point in their lives. As an example, a school today uses AI programming to enable participation based on face recognition. In the future, driverless cars will be the best. Vehicles are completely constrained by the AI programming that detects signs and street points. In most ICT models, enormous amounts of information are incorporated, self-thought capability is not addressed, and there is a lot of confusion. There is an explosion of creative innovations, such as corporate collaboration and profound learning. As AI frameworks learn to adapt to individuals' character and goals, individuals' future relationships with machines will always become contact, liquid, and customized. As a result of these AI applications, individuals will be able to monitor their wellbeing, be alerted to risks in advance, and receive administrations when they need them. While AI continues to bring significant benefits in every field, it also raises significant moral and social issues, such as security issues. A number of occupations have already been dislodged due to robotics and other artificial intelligence advancements. In this paper, we focus on the more extensive and smaller scope of man-made consciousness, its shrewd gadgets, and future advancements. Additionally, this paper shed a few light on how man-made brainpower is used in the day-to-day world.

Abstract:What can the brain-computer interface (BCI) do? Wearing an electroencephalogram (EEG) headcap, you can control the flight of a drone in the laboratory by your thought; with electrodes inserted inside the brain, paralytic patients can drink by controlling a robotic arm with thinking. Both invasive and non-invasive BCI try to connect human brains to machines. In the past several decades, BCI technology has continued to develop, making science fiction into reality and laboratory inventions into indispensable gadgets. In July 2019, Neuralink, a company founded by Elon Musk, proposed a sewing machine-like device that can dig holes in the skull and implant 3072 electrodes onto the cortex, promising more accurate reading of what you are thinking, although many serious scientists consider the claim misleading to the public. Recently, National Science Review (NSR) interviewed Professor Bin He, the department head of Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, and a leading scientist in the non-invasive-BCI field. His team developed new methods for non-invasive BCI to control drones by thoughts. In 2019, Bin's team demonstrated the control of a robotic arm to follow a continuously randomly moving target on the screen. In this interview, Bin He recounted the history of BCI, as well as the opportunities and challenges of non-invasive BCI.

Abstract:Abstract If a solvable problem is currently unsolved, then something important to a solution is most likely being overlooked. From this simple observation we derive the obscure features hypothesis: every innovative solution is built upon at least one commonly overlooked or new (i.e., obscure) feature of the problem. By using a new definition of a feature as an effect of an interaction, we are able to accomplish five things. First, we are able to determine where features come from and how to search for new ones. Second, we are able to construct mathematical arguments that the set of features of an object is not computably enumerable. Third, we are able to characterize innovative problem solving as looking for a series of interactions that produce the desired effects (i.e., the goal). Fourth, we are able to construct a precise problem-solving grammar that is both human and machine friendly. Fifth, we are able to devise a visual and verbal problem-solving representation that both humans and computers can contribute to as they help counteract each other's problem-solving weaknesses. We show how computers can counter some of the known cognitive obstacles to innovation that humans have. We also briefly discuss ways in which humans can return the favor. We conclude that a promising process for innovative problem solving is a human–computer collaboration in which each partner assists the other in unearthing the obscure features of a problem.

Abstract:The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Ahead of Print. As artificial intelligence (AI) rapidly automates routine tasks and job roles, organizations must prioritize developing quintessentially human skills that machines cannot easily replicate, such as creativity, empathy, collaboration, and complex problem-solving. Drawing from neuroscience, this article examines how industrial-era education and management practices, with their emphasis on structured, repetitive environments, have historically prioritized crystallized intelligence over fluid intelligence. This focus limits adaptability and innovation, which are essential human qualities in an AI-driven world. Our recommendations include stimulating cognitive flexibility, reimagining strategic planning, optimizing team meetings, redesigning jobs, promoting experiential learning, and fostering human relations. By adopting these strategies, organizations can prepare their workforce for more complex, cognitively demanding tasks, ensuring resilience and innovation in the age of AI.

Abstract:A suite of impressive scientific discoveries have been driven by recent advances in artificial intelligence. These almost all result from training flexible algorithms to solve difficult optimization problems specified in advance by teams of domain scientists and engineers with access to large amounts of data. Although extremely useful, this kind of problem solving only corresponds to one part of science - the "easy problem." The other part of scientific research is coming up with the problem itself - the "hard problem." Solving the hard problem is beyond the capacities of current algorithms for scientific discovery because it requires continual conceptual revision based on poorly defined constraints. We can make progress on understanding how humans solve the hard problem by studying the cognitive science of scientists, and then use the results to design new computational agents that automatically infer and update their scientific paradigms.

Abstract:Abstract We survey the general trajectory of artificial intelligence (AI) over the last century, in the context of influences from Artificial Life. With a broad brush, we can divide technical approaches to solving AI problems into two camps: GOFAIstic (or computationally inspired) or cybernetic (or ALife inspired). The latter approach has enabled advances in deep learning and the astonishing AI advances we see today—bringing immense benefits but also societal risks. There is a similar divide, regrettably unrecognized, over the very way that such AI problems have been framed. To date, this has been overwhelmingly GOFAIstic, meaning that tools for humans to use have been developed; they have no agency or motivations of their own. We explore the implications of this for concerns about existential risk for humans of the “robots taking over. ” The risks may be blamed exclusively on human users—the robots could not care less.

Abstract:Neuroscience, a dynamic field at the forefront of scientific exploration, is unravelling the complexities of the human brain. By merging biology, psychology, physics, and computer science, researchers are gaining profound insights into cognition, behaviour, and the neurological underpinnings of diseases. Brain mapping is a key component of recent advancements. Techniques like fMRI, PET, and DTI offer unprecedented views of brain structure and function. The Human Connectome Project and similar initiatives have produced detailed maps of brain connections, revealing how different regions interact to support cognition and behaviour. These maps are crucial for identifying disease biomarkers, predicting treatment responses, and developing targeted therapies. Molecular biology and genetics are also driving progress. Researchers are uncovering the genetic basis of neurological disorders, providing clues about disease susceptibility and progression. Molecular imaging techniques visualise neurotransmitter systems and cellular processes, shedding light on disease mechanisms. The integration of neuroscience with computer modelling and AI is revolutionising research. AI algorithms analyse vast datasets, simulate neural networks, and even decode neural signals for brain-machine interfaces. This has the potential for personalised medicine and ground-breaking treatments. The future holds immense promise. Techniques like optogenetics and single-cell imaging will offer even greater precision in studying brain circuits. However, we must address ethical considerations around data privacy, cognitive enhancement, and brain-altering interventions. Neuroscience is not just about understanding the brain; it's about improving lives. Researchers are striving to conquer neurological disorders and maximize human potential by pushing the boundaries of knowledge and technology while upholding ethical principles.

Abstract:Abstract The evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) enables new ways to envision how computer tools will aid, work with, and even guide human teams. This paper explores this new paradigm of design by considering emerging variations of AI-Human collaboration: AI used as a design tool versus AI employed as a guide to human problem solvers, and AI agents which only react to their human counterparts versus AI agents which proactively identify and address needs. The different combinations can be mapped onto a 2×2 AI-Human Teaming Matrix which isolates and highlights these different AI capabilities in teaming. The paper introduces the matrix and its quadrants, illustrating these different AI agents and their application and impact, and then provides a road map to researching and developing effective AI team collaborators.

Abstract:This essay examines how what is considered to be artificial intelligence (AI) has changed over time and come to intersect with the expertise of the author. Initially, AI developed on a separate trajectory, both topically and institutionally, from pattern recognition, neural information processing, decision and control systems, and allied topics by focusing on symbolic systems within computer science departments rather than on continuous systems in electrical engineering departments. The separate evolutions continued throughout the author's lifetime, with some crossover in reinforcement learning and graphical models, but were shocked into converging by the virality of deep learning, thus making an electrical engineer into an AI researcher. Now that this convergence has happened, opportunity exists to pursue an agenda that combines learning and reasoning bridged by interpretable machine learning models.

Abstract:While AI holds immense potential for accelerating advances in oncology, we must be intentional in developing and applying these technologies responsibly, equitably, and ethically. One path forward is for cancer care providers and researchers to be among the architects of AI and its adoption in medicine. Given the limitations of traditional top-down, hypothesis-driven design in an exponentially expanding data universe, on one hand, and the danger of spiraling into artificial ignorance (ai) from rushing into a purely 'synthetic' method on the other, this article proposes a 'scienthetic' method that synergizes AI with human wisdom. Tracing philosophical underpinnings of the scientific method from Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle to the present, it examines the critical juncture at which AI stands to either augment or undermine new knowledge. The scienthetic method seeks to harness the power and capabilities of AI responsibly, equitably, and ethically to transcend the limitations of both the traditional scientific method and purely synthetic methods, by intentionally weaving machine intelligence together with human wisdom.

The fashion industry, being one of the most variable industries in the world, had no way of making an exception from the use of Artificial Intelligence. Starting from the idea, and product development and up to mass production business in any industry. The fashion industry is no exception. From product development to robotic manufacturing, AI has made its way to almost every segment of the fashion value chain. Fashion is a trend that has its own story evolving as ideas are recycled or given new interpretations. It's a phenomenon associated with the pursuit of perfection. Fashion has been around, for as long as humans can remember. It took off when consumerism became prevalent in the 19th century. This was also the time when social scientists started paying attention to fashion. Fashion is all about what's considered trendy and appropriate in a time and situation. A certain group of people known as fashion leaders play a role, in shaping these trends. They have a status that allows them to determine what's fashionable and others follow their lead. Fashion used to be a privilege that only a select few could enjoy. However, in today's society, economic progress has opened up the opportunity for a large number of people, from countries to actively participate in fashion competitions. It's not about wealth though; people now have psychological freedom and the emergence of new communication methods has made fashion even more significant in our lives. This article delves into the impact of intelligence on the rise of designers, in the industry exploring how it enhances and automates their creative process. Fashion needs followers, but it is also necessary for some people to be out of fashion, as not everyone, or everything, can be 'in fashion'. When something is too common, it can be replaced, otherwise, fashion cannot be used to differentiate between people. Fashion design is well-accepted as a career option. A very large number of institutes exist around the world, offering courses in various fields of fashion. The number of students who consider fashion as a serious career has continued to grow over the years, not limited only to people who have studied fashion, but we can have people who have studied other professions but find themselves very well in the fashion industry. In such a diverse market, what makes the difference in the industry is the designer's ability to keep up with the times. Artificial intelligence has brought a variety of artistic creations, allowing everyone to express their style. Regardless of which of these creations have the potential to find real application in the real world. AI research has created techniques based on probability and economics to deal with ambiguous or partial information. The "combinatorial explosion" that occurred when the problems got bigger and the machines become exponentially slower made the early algorithms unsuitable for handling large argument problems. They address the majority of their difficulties with snap decisions based on intuition. Conditional statements, conditional expressions, and conditional constructs form the foundation of the computer language. A popular construct in many programming languages is the if-then (sometimes known as if-then-else). This fundamental boolean condition can be resolved by a computer. It is predicated on the fundamental principles of what is True or False. On the other hand, this sentence alone, along with the If and Then that surround it and the consequences that follow, comprise a conditional statement that lacks intrinsic value but has an internal meaning (like expressing a coherent logic rule).
