Abstract:In this paper, both low order and high order extensions of the Iyengar type inequality are obtained. Such extensions are the best possible in the same sense as that of the Iyengar inequality. Furthermore, the Chebyshev central algorithms of integrals for some function classes and some related problems are also considered and investigated.

Abstract:For an inequality system defined by an infinite family of proper lower semicontinuous convex functions in normed linear space, we consider the Farkas-Minkowski (FM for short) type qualification and the basic constraint qualification (BCQ for short). By employing a new approach based on some new results established here on the SECQ (sum of epigraphs constraint qualification) for families of closed convex sets, some sufficient conditions involving further relaxing Slater type conditions for ensuring the FM qualification are provided. As applications, new sufficient conditions for ensuring the BCQ are given. These results significantly improve the corresponding ones in [C. Li and K. F. Ng, SIAM T. Optim., 15 (2005), pp. 488-512] and [C. Li, X. P. Zhao, and Y. H. Hu, SIAM J. Optim., 23 (2013), pp. 2208-2230], and they are obtained without the key continuity assumption on the sup-function of the inequality system which the previous works depend heavily on. Some examples are also presented to illustrate the applicability of our results.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate various square functions on the unit complex ball. We prove the weighted inequalities of the Lusin area integral associated with Poisson integral in terms of $A_p$ weights for all $1<p<\infty$; this gives an affirmative answer to an open question raised by Segovia and Wheeden. To that end, we establish the weighted inequalities for Littlewood-Paley type square functions. As an interesting application, we obtain the weighted inequalities of the Lusin area integral associated with Bergman gradient. In addition, we get an equivalent characterization of weighted Hardy spaces by means of the Lusin area integral in the context of holomorphic functions. We also obtain the weighted inequalities for Volterra integral operators. The key ingredients of our proof involve complex analysis, Calderón-Zygmund theory, the local mean oscillation technique and sparse domination.

Abstract:Part of the intrinsic structure of singular integrals in the Bessel setting is captured by Muckenhoupt-type weights. Anderson--Kerman showed that the Bessel Riesz transform is bounded on weighted $L^p_w$ if and only if $w$ is in the class $A_{p,\lambda}$. We introduce a new class of Muckenhoupt-type weights $\widetilde A_{p,\lambda}$ in the Bessel setting, which is different from $A_{p,\lambda}$ but characterizes the weighted boundedness for the Hardy--Littlewood maximal operators. We also establish the weighted $L^p$ boundedness and compactness, as well as the endpoint weak type boundedness of Riesz commutators. The quantitative weighted bound is also established.

Abstract:We prove quantitative, one-weight, weak-type estimates for maximal operators, singular integrals, fractional maximal operators and fractional integral operators. We consider a kind of weak-type inequality that was first studied by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden and later by Cruz-Uribe, Martell and Perez. We obtain quantitative estimates for these operators in both the scalar and matrix weighted setting using sparse domination techniques. Our results extend those obtained by Cruz-Uribe, Isralowitz, Moen, Pott, and Rivera-Ríos for singular integrals and maximal operators when $p=1$.

Abstract:We establish a set of relations between several quite diverse types of weighted inequalities involving various integral operators and fairly general quasinorm-like functionals. The main result enables one to solve a specific problem by transferring it to another one for which a solution is known. The main result is formulated in a rather surprising generality, involving previously unknown cases, and it works even for some nonlinear operators such as the geometric or harmonic mean operators. Proofs use only elementary means.

Abstract:Since the study by Jacobi and Hecke, Hecke-type series have received a lot of attention. Unlike such series associated with indefinite quadratic forms, identities on Hecke-type series associated with definite quadratic forms are quite rare in the literature. Motivated by the works of Liu, we first establish many parameterized identities with two parameters by employing different $q$-transformation formulas and then deduce various Hecke-type identities associated with definite quadratic forms by specializing the choice of these two parameters. As applications, we utilize some of these Hecke-type identities to establish families of inequalities for several partition functions. Our proofs heavily rely on some formulas from the work of Zhi-Guo Liu.

Abstract:Quantum calculus has numerous applications in mathematics. This novel class of functions may be used to produce a variety of conclusions in convex analysis, special functions, quantum mechanics, related optimization theory, and mathematical inequalities. It can drive additional research in a variety of pure and applied fields. This article’s main objective is to introduce and study a new class of preinvex functions, which is called higher-order generalized strongly n-polynomial preinvex function. We derive a new q1q2-integral identity for mixed partial q1q2-differentiable functions. Because of the nature of generalized convexity theory, there is a strong link between preinvexity and symmetry. Utilizing this as an auxiliary result, we derive some estimates of upper bound for functions whose mixed partial q1q2-differentiable functions are higher-order generalized strongly n-polynomial preinvex functions on co-ordinates. Our results are the generalizations of the results in earlier papers. Quantum inequalities of this type and the techniques used to solve them have applications in a wide range of fields where symmetry is important.

Abstract:In this paper, we first introduce a new concept of {\it dual quermassintegral sum function} of two star bodies and establish Minkowski's type inequality for dual quermassintegral sum of mixed intersection bodies, which is a general form of the Minkowski inequality for mixed intersection bodies. Then, we give the Aleksandrov--Fenchel inequality and the Brunn--Minkowski inequality for mixed intersection bodies and some related results. Our results present, for intersection bodies, all dual inequalities for Lutwak's mixed prosection bodies inequalities.

Abstract:The purpose of this article is to provide a number of Hermite–Hadamard and Fejér type integral inequalities for a class of h ‐superquadratic functions. We then develop the fractional perspective of inequalities of Hermite–Hadamard and Fejér types by use of the Riemann–Liouville fractional integral operators and bring up with few particular cases. Numerical estimations based on specific relevant cases and graphical representations validate the results. Another motivating component of the study is that it is enriched with applications of modified Bessel function of first type, special means, and moment of random variables by defining some new functions in terms of modified Bessel function and considering uniform probability density function. The results in this paper have not been initiated before in the frame of h ‐superquadraticity. We are optimistic that this effort will greatly stimulate and encourage additional research.

Abstract:Let $1\leq p <\infty$ and $0 < q,r < \infty$. We characterize the validity of the inequality for the composition of the Hardy operator, \begin{equation*} \bigg(\int_a^b \bigg(\int_a^x \bigg(\int_a^t f(s)ds \bigg)^q u(t) dt \bigg)^{\frac{r}{q}} w(x) dx \bigg)^{\frac{1}{r}} \leq C \bigg(\int_a^b f(x)^p v(x) dx \bigg)^{\frac{1}{p}} \end{equation*} for all non-negative measurable functions $f$ on $(a,b)$, $-\infty \leq a < b \leq \infty$. We construct a more straightforward discretization method than those previously presented in the literature, and we provide some new scales of weight characterizations of this inequality in both discrete and continuous forms and we obtain previous characterizations as the special case of the parameter.
