Abstract:In this paper, we study the fractional critical Schrödinger-Poisson system \[\begin{cases} (-\Delta)^su +\lambda\phi u= \alpha u+\mu|u|^{q-2}u+|u|^{2^*_s-2}u,&~~ \mbox{in}~{\mathbb R}^3,\\ (-\Delta)^t\phi=u^2,&~~ \mbox{in}~{\mathbb R}^3,\end{cases} \] having prescribed mass \[\int_{\mathbb R^3} |u|^2dx=a^2,\] where $ s, t \in (0, 1)$ satisfies $2s+2t > 3, q\in(2,2^*_s), a>0$ and $\lambda,\mu>0$ parameters and $\alpha\in{\mathbb R}$ is an undetermined parameter. Under the $L^2$-subcritical perturbation $q\in (2, 2+\frac{4s}{3})$, we derive the existence of multiple normalized solutions by means of the truncation technique, concentration-compactness principle and the genus theory. For the $L^2$-supercritical perturbation $q\in (2+\frac{4s}{3}, 2^*_s)$, by applying the constrain variational methods and the mountain pass theorem, we show the existence of positive normalized ground state solutions.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence of normalized ground states for nonlinear fractional Kirchhoff equations with Sobolev critical exponent and mixed nonlinearities in R3. To overcome the special difficulties created by the nonlocal term and fractional Sobolev critical term, we develop a perturbed Pohožaev method based on the Brézis–Lieb lemma and monotonicity trick. Using the Pohožaev manifold decomposition and fibering map, we prove the existence of a positive normalized ground state. Moreover, the asymptotic behavior of the obtained normalized solutions is also explored. These conclusions extend some known ones in previous papers.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the fractional critical Schrödinger–Poisson system having prescribed mass where satisfy and parameters and is an undetermined parameter. For this problem, under the -subcritical perturbation , we derive the existence of multiple normalized solutions by means of the truncation technique, concentration-compactness principle and the genus theory. In the -supercritical perturbation , we prove two different results of normalized solutions when parameters satisfy different assumptions, by applying the constrained variational methods and the mountain pass theorem. Our results extend and improve some previous ones of Zhang et al. (Adv Nonlinear Stud 16:15–30, 2016); and of Teng (J Differ Equ 261:3061–3106, 2016), since we are concerned with normalized solutions.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the existence of normalized ground state solutions for the mass supercritical fractional nonlinear Schrödinger equation involving a critical growth in the fractional Sobolev sense. The compactness of Palais–Smale sequences will be obtained by a special technique, which borrows from the ideas of Soave (J. Funct. Anal. 279 (6) (2020), art. 1086102020). This paper represents an extension of previously known results, both in the local and the nonlocal cases.

Abstract:We study the existence of normalized ground state solutions to a mixed dispersion fourth-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation with combined power-type nonlinearities. By analyzing the subadditivity of the ground state energy with respect to the prescribed mass, we employ a constrained minimization method to establish the existence of ground state that corresponds to a local minimum of the associated functional. Under certain conditions, by studying the monotonicity of ground state energy as the mass varies, we apply the constrained minimization arguments on the Nehari-Pohozaev manifold to prove the existence of normalized ground state solutions. Abstract:In this paper, we are concerned with the existence and properties of ground states for the Schrödinger–Poisson system with combined power nonlinearities {[ -Δ u +γϕ u= λ u+μ |u|^q-2u+|u|^4u, in ℝ^3,; -Δϕ =u^2, in ℝ^3, ]. having prescribed mass ∫ _ℝ^3 |u|^2dx=a^2, in the Sobolev critical case. Here a>0 , and γ >0 , μ >0 are parameters, λ∈ℝ is an undetermined parameter. By using Jeanjean’ theory, Pohozaev manifold method and Brezis and Nirenberg’s technique to overcome the lack of compactness, we prove several existence results under the L^2 -subcritical, L^2 -critical and L^2 -supercritical perturbation μ |u|^q-2u , under different assumptions imposed on the parameters γ ,μ and the mass a, respectively. This study can be considered as a counterpart of the Brezis-Nirenberg problem in the context of normalized solutions of a Sobolev critical Schrödinger–Poisson problem perturbed with a subcritical term in the whole space ℝ^3 .

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence of normalized solutions to the following nonlinear Schrödinger equation \begin{equation*} \left\{ \begin{aligned} &-\Delta u=f(u)+ \lambda u\quad \mbox{in}\ \mathbb{R}^{N},\\ &u\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^N), ~~~\int_{\mathbb{R}^N}|u|^2dx=c, \end{aligned} \right. \end{equation*} where $N\ge3$, $c>0$, $\lambda\in \mathbb{R}$ and $f$ has a Sobolev critical growth at infinity but does not satisfies the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition. By analysing the monotonicity of the ground state energy with respect to $c$, we develop a constrained minimization approach to establish the existence of normalized ground state solutions for all $c>0$.

Abstract:This paper is aimed to study ground states for a class of fractional Schrodinger equations involving the critical exponents:(-Delta)(alpha)u + u = lambda f(u) + vertical bar u vertical bar 2(a)*-2(u) in IRN,where lambda is a real parameter, (-Delta)(alpha) is the fractional Laplacian operator with 0 < a < 1, 2(a)* = 2N/N-2 alpha, with 2 <= N, f is a continuous subcritical nonlinearity without the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition. Based on the principle of concentration compactness in the fractional Sobolev space and radially decreasing rearrangements, we obtain a nonnegative radially symmetric minimizer for a constrained minimization problem which has the least energy among all possible solutions for the above equations, i.e., a ground state solution.

Our main contribution is that we are able to deal with the supercritical case .

Abstract:In this paper, we are concerned with solutions to the fractional Schrödinger-Poisson system with prescribed mass , where a > 0 is a prescribed number, μ > 0 is a paremeter, s ∈ (0, 1), 2 < q < 2*s, and is the fractional critical Sobolev exponent. In the L2-subcritical case, we show the existence of multiple normalized solutions by using the genus theory and the truncation technique; in the L2-supercritical case, we obtain a couple of normalized solutions by developing a fiber map. Under both cases, to recover the loss of compactness of the energy functional caused by the doubly critical growth, we need to adopt the concentration-compactness principle. Our results complement and improve upon some existing studies on the fractional Schrödinger-Poisson system with a nonlocal critical term.
