Abstract:This study was conducted with the aim of providing basic information on the composition of the curriculum for nurturing early childhood teachers for the implementation of inclusive education for young children with disabilities. The subjects of the study were 192 students in the department of three-year early childhood education at A University. The research tool used in previous study was modified and supplemented a 5-point scale questionnaire of 32 questions. In order to find out the differences in perception according to the degree of completion of related subjects, mean, standard deviation, one way ANOVA, and Scheffe post-hoc test were computed. As a result of the study, first, among the effects of inclusive education, pre-service teachers recognized that the effect on young children with disabilities would be the most positive, and that the positive effect on young children without disabilities would be the least. Second, there was a difference in perception between groups according to the degree of completion of related subjects. Third, there was a partial difference between the group that did not complete the disability-related subject and the group that completed one and the group that completed two. Based on the above results, the necessity of additional courses related to education for young children with disabilities in the early childhood teacher training program was discussed.
