Abstract:In this letter, first we give a decomposition for any Lie-Poisson structure $\pi_g$ associated to the modular vector. In particular, $\pi_g$ splits into two compatible Lie-Poisson structures if $dim{g} \leq 3$. Abstract:In his study of Dirac structures, a notion which includes both Poisson structures and closed 2-forms, T. Courant introduced a bracket on the direct sum of vector fields and 1-forms. This bracket does not satisfy the Jacobi identity except on certain subspaces. In this paper we systematize the properties of this bracket in the definition of a Courant algebroid. This structure on a vector bundle E --> M, consists of an antisymmetric bracket on the sections of E whose "Jacobi anomaly" has an explicit expression in terms of a bundle map E --> TM and a field of symmetric bilinear forms on E. When M is a point, the definition reduces to that of a Lie algebra carrying an invariant nondegenerate symmetric bilinear form. For any Lie bialgebroid (A, A*) over M (a notion defined by Mackenzie and Xu), there is a natural Courant algebroid structure on A + A* which is the Drinfel'd double of a Lie bialgebra when M is a point. Conversely, if A and A* are complementary isotropic subbundles of a Courant algebroid E, closed under the bracket (such a bundle, with dimension half that of E, is called a Dirac structure), there is a natural Lie bialgebroid structure on (A, A*) whose double is isomorphic to E. The theory of Manin triples is thereby extended from Lie algebras to Lie algebroids. Our work gives a new approach to bihamiltonian structures and a new way of combining two Poisson structures to obtain a third one. We also take some tentative steps toward generalizing Drinfel'd's theory of Poisson homogeneous spaces from groups to groupoids.

Abstract:For a field k and two finite groups G and X, when G acts on X from the right by group automorphisms, there is a Hopf algebra structure on k-space (kX op )* ⋇ kG (see Theorem 2.1), called a non-balanced quantum double and denoted by D X (G). In this paper, some Hopf algebra properties of D X (G) are given, the representation types of D X (G) viewed as a k-algebra are discussed, the algebra structure and module category over D X (G) are studied. Since the Hopf algebra structure of non-balanced quantum double D X (G) generalizes the usual quantum double D(G) for a finite group G, all results about D X (G) in this paper can also be used to describe D(G) as a special case and the universal R-matrix of D X (G) provides more solutions of Yang-Baxter equation.

Abstract:We prove a 2-categorical analogue of a classical result of Drinfeld: there is a one-to-one correspondence between connected, simply-connected Poisson Lie 2-groups and Lie 2-bialgebras. In fact, we also prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between connected, simply connected quasi-Poisson 2-groups and quasi-Lie 2-bialgebras. Our approach relies on a "universal lifting theorem" for Lie 2-groups: an isomorphism between the graded Lie algebras of multiplicative polyvector fields on the Lie 2-group on one hand and of polydifferentials on the corresponding Lie 2-algebra on the other hand.

Abstract:This paper focuses on the introduction of right-invariant Poisson-Nijenhuis structures on Lie groupoids and their infinitesimal counterparts, also known as structures. A Poisson-Nijenhuis structure refers to a combination of a Poisson structure and a Nijenhuis structure. The paper also presents a mutual correspondence between Poisson-Nijenhuis structures on Lie algebroids and Poisson-Nijenhuis structures on their corresponding Lie groupoids, under certain conditions. This correspondence demonstrates a connection between the infinitesimal and global structures. Finally, the paper concludes with an illustrative example to enhance the understanding of the concepts introduced.

Poisson reductions of master integrable systems on doubles of compact Lie groups

Abstract:We consider three 'classical doubles' of any semisimple, connected and simply connected compact Lie group $G$: the cotangent bundle, the Heisenberg double and the internally fused quasi-Poisson double. On each double we identify a pair of 'master integrable systems' and investigate their Poisson reductions. In the simplest cotangent bundle case, the reduction is defined by taking quotient by the cotangent lift of the conjugation action of $G$ on itself, and this naturally generalizes to the other two doubles. In each case, we derive explicit formulas for the reduced Poisson structure and equations of motion and find that they are associated with well known classical dynamical $r$-matrices. Our principal result is that we provide a unified treatment of a large family of reduced systems, which contains new models as well as examples of spin Sutherland and Ruijsenaars--Schneider models that were studied previously. We argue that on generic symplectic leaves of the Poisson quotients the reduced systems are integrable in the degenerate sense, although further work is required to prove this rigorously.

Abstract:The approach for Poisson bialgebras characterized by Manin triples with respect to the invariant bilinear forms on both the commutative associative algebras and the Lie algebras is not available for giving a bialgebra theory for transposed Poisson algebras. Alternatively, we consider Manin triples with respect to the commutative 2-cocycles on the Lie algebras instead. Explicitly, we first introduce the notion of anti-pre-Lie bialgebras as the equivalent structure of Manin triples of Lie algebras with respect to the commutative 2-cocycles. Then we introduce the notion of anti-pre-Lie Poisson bialgebras, characterized by Manin triples of transposed Poisson algebras with respect to the bilinear forms which are invariant on the commutative associative algebras and commutative 2-cocycles on the Lie algebras, giving a bialgebra theory for transposed Poisson algebras. Finally the coboundary cases and the related structures such as analogues of the classical Yang-Baxter equation and $\mathcal O$-operators are studied.

Abstract:We present a class of Poisson structures on trivial extension algebras which generalize some known structures induced by Poisson modules. We show that there exists a one-to-one correspondence between such a class of Poisson structures and some data involving (not necessarily flat) contravariant derivatives, and then we give a formulation of this result in terms of Lie algebroids. Some properties of the first Poisson cohomology are also presented. Examples coming from Poisson modules and Poisson submanifolds are given.

Abstract:Dirac structures are characterized in terms of their characteristic pairs dened in this note and then Poisson reductions are discussed from the point of view of Dirac structures. 1. Introduction. Dirac structures on manifolds include closed 2-forms, Poisson structures, and foliations which were introduced by Courant and Weinstein and thor- oughly investigated in (2). Their Lie algebroid version was developed by Weinstein, Xu and the author in (6) and (7). In this note, we characterize a Dirac structure in terms of its characteristic pair (D; ), which consists of a subbundle and a bivector eld. One can see that it becomes more convenient to check the integrability and to study the reduction of a Dirac structure described this way. In the Lie bialgebra case, such a description is given by Diatta and Menida in (3). As natural generalizations of symplectic reductions, Poisson reductions admit many applications. There are already several versions and dieren t approaches for doing it, e.g., Marsden and Ratiu's theorem in (10) and that in (13) given by Weinstein by means of the coisotropic calculus. In fact, it is also an original purpose of the construction of Dirac structures to describe Poisson reductions. Of course, the same conclusion can be obtained from all of other approaches. But, anyway, we wish to illuminate more geometric pictures and algebraic relations behind the Poisson reduction in order to construct a unied framework for its various generalizations (e.g., (1), (4), (8), (11) and (12)) by use of the theory of Dirac structure, which has been shown to be a powerful tool as well as a beautiful theory.

Abstract:Berwick-Evens and Lerman recently showed that the category of vector fields on a geometric stack has the structure of a Lie $2$-algebra. Motivated by this work, we present a construction of graded weak Lie $2$-algebras associated with quasi-Poisson groupoids based on the space of multiplicative forms on the groupoid and differential forms on the base manifold. We also establish a morphism between the Lie $2$-algebra of multiplicative multivector fields and the weak Lie $2$-algebra of multiplicative forms, allowing us to compare and relate different aspects of Lie $2$-algebra theory within the context of quasi-Poisson geometry. As an infinitesimal analogy, we explicitly determine the associated weak Lie $2$-algebra structure of IM $1$-forms along with differential $1$-forms on the base manifold for any quasi-Lie bialgebroid.

Abstract:Let $G$ be a connected Lie group and $\mathfrak{g}$ its Lie algebra. We denote by $\nabla^0$ the torsion free bi-invariant linear connection on $G$ given by $\nabla^0_XY=\frac12[X,Y],$ for any left invariant vector fields $X,Y$. A Poisson structure on $\mathfrak{g}$ is a commutative and associative product on $\mathfrak{g}$ for which $\mathrm{ad}_u$ is a derivation, for any $u\in\mathfrak{g}$. A torsion free bi-invariant linear connections on $G$ which have the same curvature as $\nabla^0$ is called special. We show that there is a bijection between the space of special connections on $G$ and the space of Poisson structures on $\mathfrak{g}$. We compute the holonomy Lie algebra of a special connection and we show that the Poisson structures associated to special connections which have the same holonomy Lie algebra as $\nabla^0$ possess interesting properties. Finally, we study Poisson structures on a Lie algebra and we give a large class of examples which gives, of course, a large class of special connections.

Abstract:In recent years, $b$-symplectic manifolds have become important structures in the study of symplectic geometry, serving as Poisson manifolds that retain symplectic properties away from a hypersurface. Inspired by this rich landscape, $E$-structures were introduced by Nest and Tsygan in \cite{NT2} as a comprehensive framework for exploring generalizations of $b$-structures. This paper initiates a deeper investigation into their Poisson facets, building on foundational work by \cite{MS21}. We also examine the closely related concept of almost regular Poisson manifolds, as studied in \cite{AZ17}, which reveals a natural Poisson groupoid associated with these structures. In this article, we investigate the intricate relationship between $E$-structures and almost regular Poisson structures. Our comparative analysis not only scrutinizes their Poisson properties but also offers explicit formulae for the Poisson structure on the Poisson groupoid associated to the $E$-structures as both Poisson manifolds and singular foliations. In doing so, we reveal an interesting link between the existence of commutative frames and Darboux-Carathéodory-type expressions for the relevant structures.

Abstract:First, we prove a decomposition formula for any multiplicative differential form on a Lie groupoid G . Next, we prove that if G is a Poisson Lie groupoid, then the space Ω_mult^∙(G) of multiplicative forms on G has a differential graded Lie algebra (DGLA) structure. Furthermore, when combined with Ω•(M), which is the space of forms on the base manifold M of G,Ω_mult^∙(G) forms a canonical DGLA crossed module. This supplements a previously known fact that multiplicative multi-vector fields on G form a DGLA crossed module with the Schouten algebra Γ(∧•A) stemming from the Lie algebroid A of G .
On the T-leaves of some Poisson structures related to products of flag varieties

Abstract:For a connected abelian Lie group T acting on a Poisson manifold (Y,{\pi}) by Poisson isomorphisms, the T-leaves of {\pi} in Y are, by definition, the orbits of the symplectic leaves of {\pi} under T, and the leaf stabilizer of a T-leaf is the subspace of the Lie algebra of T that is everywhere tangent to all the symplectic leaves in the T-leaf. In this paper, we first develop a general theory on T-leaves and leaf stabilizers for a class of Poisson structures defined by Lie bialgebra actions and quasitriangular r-matrices. We then apply the general theory to four series of holomorphic Poisson structures on products of flag varieties and related spaces of a complex semi-simple Lie group G. We describe their T-leaf decompositions, where T is a maximal torus of G, in terms of (open) extended Richardson varieties and extended double Bruhat cells associated to conjugacy classes of G, and we compute their leaf stabilizers and the dimension of the symplectic leaves in each T -leaf.

Abstract:We explore transposed Poisson structures on the Lie algebra: the deformed twisted Schrödinger-Virasoro algebra D(λ) , as well as two Lie superalgebras: the super-BMS 3 algebra and the twisted N=1 Schrödinger-Neveu-Schwarz algebra. Initially, we demonstrate the absence of non-trivial transposed Poisson structures on the Lie algebra D(λ) for λ≠1 and provide an example of a transposed Poisson algebra with associative and Lie parts isomorphic to the algebra of triadic extended Laurent polynomials and D(1) . Subsequently, we establish that the super-BMS 3 algebra possesses non-trivial 12 -superderivations but lacks a non-trivial transposed Poisson structure. Finally, we prove that the twisted N=1 Schrödinger-Neveu-Schwarz algebra does not have non-trivial 12 -superderivations and thus lacks non-trivial transposed Poisson structures.
