Abstract:Abstract This research focuses on the renovation of historical buildings of Zhuyangxin Plaster Store, Hangzhou, China. By following three architectural design strategies, namely protecting the surrounding environment, rejuvenating the commercial and cultural function and recovering the original appearance, the historical buildings are to be retrofitted to achieve a sustainable regeneration. Meanwhile, based on an on-site investigation into the present residential environment of the buildings, suitable architectural technologies to improve the residential environment are analyzed from the aspects of envelop, facilities, sun shading, passive technology and sunlight utilization. After some retrofit measures were adopted for the envelop of the historical buildings, the simulation results showed that not only the thermal and light environment will be improved, but also energy efficiency of 50.34% can be achieved according to the standard in China.

Abstract:Based on the reinforcement and reconstruction of historical buildings in the city,the importance of the protectioin of historical building is presented.According to the ideology of classification,for the building that only interior reconstruction is permitted,the columns shall beweakin architecture and strongin structure.The beams should have enough capacity and good connection with the exist structure,so the building will has a good anti-seismic performance;and for the builing that outside reconstructioin is permitted,the safty in construction is emphasized.The existing wals that shall be removed after the new structure proves to be a good method.Both of the two situations are given with three new foundation schemes,pier foundatin,composed foundation and cantilever foundation.

Abstract:Through an analysis of the current situation,main exploration,problems and the overall situation about Shanghai Shikumen(stone-framed doorways) building,this paper proposes four suggestions: limited protection,emotional protection,orderly protection,and organic protection.It raises some basic advisement about the conservation and renewal in five aspects: establishing evaluation system,perfecting policy mechanism,defining the scope of protection,carrying out planning guide and balancing benefit compensation that are supposed to be helpful to the protection of valuable historical and cultural heritage.

However, there are still some problems in the existing structural identification and reinforcement of the buildingthere are many buildings in China difficult to directly remove and reconstruct because of its special nature such as long rebuilding construction cycle and the high cost, in order to maintain the stability and integrity of the building, we must develop a targeted repair and transformation technology, improve the functional use of the building saving cost. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to discuss the identification and reinforcement technology of building structure in our country, I hope to provide some suggestions for reference.

Abstract:With the rapid advancement of technology, accurate and reliable architectural heritage information is increasingly in demand in the fields of cultural heritage and architectural conservation. This study aimed to establish a positive and harmonious relationship between architectural heritage and urban renewal in China’s sustainable urbanization process by documenting and conserving Chinese architectural heritage information. This work focuses on integrating architectural heritage information into multilevel and multi-dimensional information using scientific and standardized classification methods for documenting and conserving Chinese architectural heritage. The former site of the provisional Senate of the Nanjing National Government was studied and documented for this purpose. A precise 3D modeling for the components of architectural heritage and building information modeling (BIM) technology based on the two-dimensional (2D) drawings and component information were studied, analyzed, and used for restoration. Finally, a component “family” library was created using the common components of existing historical buildings. The results showed that the proposed method could provide both 3D and 2D drawings directly in the digital protection of historical buildings to monitor, repair, and protect architectural heritage, particularly historical buildings, throughout their life cycle. Overall, this work highlights the importance of protecting architectural heritage in sustainable urbanization and proposes an effective method for achieving this goal.

Current problems of architecture and urban planning

Abstract:Мodern urban development trends includes the importance of taking historical buildings into account when implementing sustainable development strategies. Energetic modernization of historical buildings has both economic and social benefits. Buildings of historical importance often do not correspond to the requirements of modern directives, but the use of certain technical means and architectural practices allows to achieve a significant increase in energy potential. Energy-efficient renovation of historic buildings is an important component in the formation of future smart cities, since historic buildings themselves connect society with the heritage of the past and represent local and historical features of the city and its inhabitants. At the same time, the relevance of the problem is related to the insufficient systematization of data and information resources along with the constant development of tools for diagnosis and assessment of potential changes when working with historical buildings according to their characteristics. The main modern requirements for energy-efficient renovation of historical buildings, as well as the stages of analysis of the characteristics of historical buildings, and the further formation of the renovation strategy and the selection of appropriate methods and measures are considered. Considered limitations and features of the renovation of historic buildings (general engineering limitations due to the historical context, specific characteristics of a specific building, design limitations).

Abstract:Historical buildings are an important part of the cultural heritage of cities and their preservation is a protection strategy for present and future generations. The theories of conservation and restoration of the 19th and 20th centuries are the basis of modern adaptive reuse of buildings, but they are not always applied in practice. This article analyzes the theories of conservation and restoration, and their application in modern practice, in order to provide a holistic understanding of this strategy for the preservation of cultural heritage. The main types of buildings for a new functional use are considered.

Abstract:In the process of conservation and utilization of historical buildings, relevant stakeholders should adapt to the material and spiritual needs of people in the development of urbanization, and continuously explore their technical, economic and cultural values. This will be in line with the regulations that preserving heritage is preserving history, and preserving the cultural lineage of the city. We should pursue both the preservation of buildings and the continuation of their historical and cultural values. Achieving the unity of social, economic and environmental benefits of urban construction and development is already a common consideration in the world. This article analyzes the relevant cases in France, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Beijing and other places, and discusses the path for the protection of historical buildings, the enhancement of their own value and the coordinated development of the city. And analyze its problems and put forward relevant policy recommendations. Historical buildings should use the advantages of the Internet to broadly consolidate social consensus. Abstract:The value and necessity of the current renovation and reuse of old industrial buildings are obtained by introducing the status quo of China's old industrial buildings and citing the protection methods in the world in each period. Through the field investigation and observation analysis in Guangzhou, China, taking the number of users as the evaluation standard, the influence of the building material, color, number of floor, lighting and greening on the renovation and utilization of old industrial buildings is expounded. Combined with the relevant theory and case analysis, the favorable factors of affecting the old industrial building renovation are obtained to be some of the inspiration and recommendations of the old industrial building renovation and utilization. Finally, according to research conclusion, it is applied to the actual project. Through the project design, the previous research conclusion is further comprehensively used, and the final result is explained with the help of the three-dimensional model.

Abstract:The protection and renewal of traditional residential buildings help to enhance the functionality and adaptability of the buildings, pass on the traditional architectural culture, promote the sustainable development of traditional buildings, and contribute to rural revitalization. This article proposes some practical strategies for the protection and renovation of traditional residential buildings, and elaborates in detail on the long-term development of the reconstruction and renovation of traditional Yi ethnic villages' residential buildings in Damoyu Village, Kunming City and Dabudong Village, Luoping County. It can provide methodological references for the renovation and reuse of traditional residential buildings.

Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization and the promotion of economic development, the balance between historical building protection and modern urban renewal has become an important issue faced by many cities. As an important component of urban cultural heritage, historical buildings not only have unique historical and artistic value, but also carry rich cultural memories and social significance. However, with the pressure of urban development and the demand for resource utilization, historical buildings often face the risk of destruction, loss, or even abandonment. With the rapid development of urbanization, old buildings and streets are also being updated simultaneously, but in the mainstream trend, streets and urban buildings are gradually converging with little distinctive features. Based on the protection of historical buildings and living environment, this article takes Tanhualin Street in Wuhan as an example to integrate local culture into the architecture and environment, and create a Wuhan street with local characteristics.
