Abstract:OBJECTIVE To explore the causes of incision infections in patients undergoing emergency trauma sur-gery ,summarize the clinical experience ,and put forward related prevention measures so as to prevent the incision infections .METHODS A total of 200 patients who underwent the trauma surgery in the emergency surgery depart-ment from Jun 2012 to Jun 2013 were recruited as the study objects and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group ,with 100 cases in each ;the control group was treated with conventional incision cleaning ,while the experimental group was given the additional anti-infection therapy based on the conventional in-cision cleaning ,and the conventional nursing interventions were taken to the patients in both groups after the sur -gery ;the incidence of postoperative incision infections and the pain condition were observed and compared between the two groups ,and the prevention measures of infections were put forward .RESULTS The postoperative incision infections occurred in 3 cases in the experimental group with the infection rate of 3 .0% ,significant lower than 27 . 0% of the control group (P< 0 .05) .The VAS score of the experimental group was (2 .32 ± 1 .04)points ,signifi-cant lower than (4 .43 ± 1 .48)points of the control group (P< 0 .05) .CONCLUSION The incidence of incision in-fections is closely associated with the wound cleanliness ,and the poor wound cleaning is the leading cause of the postoperative incision infections in the patients undergoing the emergency wound surgery .It is necessary for the health care workers to strengthen the awareness of disinfection ,improve the indoor air quality ,make sure that the wound and medical instruments are clean ,and conduct appropriate anti-infection and nutrition support therapy so as to prevent the incision infections .
