Abstract:The notion of weakly d-Koszul module, which is a generalization of d-Koszul module, is introduced. The authors show that a finitely generated graded module M over a d-Koszul algebra is a weakly d-Koszul module if and only if it admits a tower of submodules: 0(?)U0(?)U1(?)…(?)Up= M, such that all Ui/Ui-1 are d-Koszul modules. Let A be a d-Koszul algebra and M a weakly d-Koszul module over A, it turns out that the Koszul duale(M) = ExtA*(M, A0) of M is generated in degree 0 as a graded ExtA*(A0, A0) module.

Abstract:The generalized piecewise-Koszul algebras(also called K_p algebras for short) are generally a class of quadratic algebras whose trivial modules admitting non-pure resolutions. Abstract:Let $A$ be a bi-Koszul algebra, we describe all possible $A_\infty$-algebra structures on the Ext-algebra $E(A)$, and prove that $E(A)$ must be $[m_2, m_3]$-finitely generated. An equivalent description for a connected graded algebra to be a bi-Koszul algebra is given in terms of $A_\infty$-language. The case that $E(A)$ is endowed with minimal number of multiplications is discussed for decomposition.

Abstract:We define generalized Koszul modules and rings and develop a generalized Koszul theory for N-graded rings with the degree zero part noetherian semiperfect. This theory specializes to the classical Koszul theory for graded rings with degree zero part artinian semisimple developed by Beilinson-Ginzburg-Soergel and the ungraded Koszul theory for noetherian semiperfect rings developed by Green and Martinez-Villa. Let A be a left finite N-graded ring generated in degree 1 with A0 noetherian semiperfect, J be its graded Jacobson radical. By the Koszul dual of A we mean the Yoneda Ext ring Ext center dot A(A/J, A/J). If A is a generalized Koszul ring and M is a generalized Koszul module, then it is proved that the Koszul dual of the Koszul dual of A is the associated graded ring GrJ A and the Koszul dual of the Koszul dual of M is the associated graded module GrJ M. If A is a locally finite algebra, then the following statements are proved to be equivalent: A is generalized Koszul; the Koszul dual Ext center dot A(A/J, A/J) of A is (classically) Koszul; GrJ A is (classically) Koszul; the opposite ring Aop of A is generalized Koszul. As an application, it is proved that if A is generalized Koszul with finite global dimension then A is generalized AS regular if and only if the Koszul dual of A is self-injective.(c) 2022 Elsevier Inc. Abstract:The concept of Koszulity for differential graded (DG, for short) modules is introduced. It is shown that any bounded below DG module with bounded Ext-group to the trivial module over a Koszul DG algebra has a Koszul DG submodule (up to a shift and truncation), moreover such a DG module can be approximated by Koszul DG modules (Theorem 3.6). Let A be a Koszul DG algebra, and D c (A) be the full triangulated subcategory of the derived category of DG A-modules generated by the object A A . If the trivial DG module k A lies in D c (A), then the heart of the standard t-structure on D c (A) is anti-equivalent to the category of finitely generated modules over some finite dimensional algebra. As a corollary, D c (A) is equivalent to the bounded derived category of its heart as triangulated categories.

Abstract:We present an easily applicable sufficient condition for standard Koszul algebras to be Koszul with respect to $\Delta$. If a quasi-hereditary algebra $Ł$ is Koszul with respect to $\Delta$, then $Ł$ and the Yoneda extension algebra of $\Delta$ are Koszul dual in a sense explained below, implying in particular that their bounded derived categories of finitely generated graded modules are equivalent. We also prove that the extension algebra of $\Delta$ is Koszul in the classical sense.

Abstract:In order to study the finite generation property of the Yoneda-Ext algebras of positively graded algebras, Green and Marcos introduced delta-Koszul objects in 2005 [2]. Motivated by ([7]-[11]), we are interested in the delta-Koszulity of a finitely generated graded module over a delta-Koszul algebra and introduce the notion of weakly delta-Koszul module in this paper. The following are proved to be equivalent and are the main results of this paper: M is a weakly delta-Koszul module; the associated graded module G(M) is a delta-Koszul module; M admits a chain of graded submodules: 0 = M-0 subset of M-1 subset of M-2 subset of ...subset of M-m = M, such that all M-i/Mi-1 are delta-Koszul modules.
On modules whose dual is of finite Gorenstein dimension: The $k$-torsion, homological criteria, and applications in modules of differentials of order $n$

Abstract:In this paper, we aim to obtain some results under the condition that the dual of a module has finite Gorenstein dimension. In this direction we derive results involving vanishing of Ext as well as the freeness or totally reflexivity of modules. For instance, we provide a generalization of a celebrated theorem by Evans and Griffith, obtain criteria for the totally reflexivity of modules over Cohen-Macaulay rings as well as of locally totally modules reflexive on the punctured spectrum, and recover a result by Araya. Moreover, we prove that the Auslander-Reiten conjecture holds true for all finitely generated modules $M$ over a Noetherian local ring $R$ such that $\operatorname{G-dim}_R(\operatorname{Hom}_R(M,R))<\infty$ and $\operatorname{pd}_R(\operatorname{Hom}_R(M,M))<\infty$. Additionally, we derive Gorenstein criteria under the condition that the dual of certain modules is of finite Gorenstein dimension. Furthermore, we explore some applications in the theory of the modules of Kähler differentials of order $n\geq 1$, specifically concerning the $k$-torsionfreeness of these modules and the Herzog-Vasconcelos's conjecture.

Abstract:Let $A = \bigoplus_{i \geqslant 0} A_i$ be a graded locally finite $k$-algebra such that $A_0$ is an arbitrary finite-dimensional algebra satisfying a certain splitting condition. In this paper we develop a generalized Koszul theory preserving many classical results. Moreover, we define a quotient graded algebra $\bar{A} = \bigoplus_{i \geqslant 0} \bar{A}_i$ and show that $A$ is a generalized Koszul algebra if and only if $\bar{A}$ is a classical Koszul algebra and a projective $A_0$-module. We also describe an application of this theory to the extension algebras of standard modules of standardly stratified algebras.

Abstract:The main aim of this article is to discuss the piecewise-Koszul property of finitely generated modules in the nongraded case. In particular, the notion of quasi-piecewise-Koszul module, a natural extension of quasi-Koszul modules (see [2]), quasi-d-Koszul modules (see [12] or [6]) and piecewise-Koszul modules (see [7]), is introduced. Let R be a Noetherian semiperfect algebra with Jacobson radical J and M a finitely generated R-module. The structure of the graded E(R) = circle plus(i >= 0) Ext(R)(i) (R/J, R/J) module E(M) = circle plus(i >= 0) Ext(R)(i) (M, R/J) is studied in detail and some necessary and sufficient conditions for a finitely generated R-module to be quasi-piecewise-Koszul are provided. Moreover, as an application of quasi-piecewise-Koszul modules, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the minimal Horseshoe Lemma to be true in the category of quasi-piecewise-Koszul modules, which perfects Theorem 2.8 of [13] and Theorem 3.1 of [9]. Finally, some applications of the minimal Horseshoe Lemma are also given.

Abstract:We are concerned with relating derived categories of all modules of two dual Koszul algebras defined by a locally bounded quiver. We first generalize the well known Acyclic Assembly Lemma and formalize an old method of extending a functor from an additive category into a complex category to its complex category. Applying this to the Koszul functor associated with a Koszul algebra defined by a gradable quiver, we obtain a Koszul complex functor, that descends to an equivalence of a continuous family of pairs of triangulated subcategories of doubly unbounded complexes of the respective derived categories of all modules of the Koszul algebra and its Koszul dual. Under this special setting, this extends Beilinson, Ginzburg and Soegel's Koszul duality. In case the Koszul algebra is right or left locally bounded and its Koszul dual is left or right locally bounded respectively (for instance, the quiver has no right infinite path or no left infinite path), our Koszul duality restricts to an equivalence of the bounded derived categories of finitely supported modules, and an equivalence of the bounded derived categories of finite dimensional modules.

Abstract:We introduce Koszul modules associated with (graded) Kac-Moody Lie algebras. We provide a precise criterion for when these modules are of finite length. As an exemplary application we deduce a bound on the dimension of the second graded component for a certain class of graded Kac-Moody Lie algebras. We also provide an exact description of all nilpotent Kac-Moody Koszul modules.

Abstract:Let be a bi-complete duality pair. We consider when the relative Gorenstein modules with respect to such a duality pair coincide with the classical homological modules. As applications, we characterize (weak) global dimension via such a duality pair, characterize strongly CM-freeness of flat-typed -Gorenstein rings and obtain the compactly-generatedness of some relative derived categories. Applying the results into frequent duality pairs, our results unify the corresponding results for Gorenstein AC-modules and Ding modules.

Abstract:Following the ideas of Ginzburg, for a subgroup K of a connected reductive ℝ-group G we introduce the notion of K -admissible D -modules on a homogeneous G -variety Z . We show that K -admissible D -modules are regular holonomic when K and Z are absolutely spherical. This framework includes: (i) the relative characters attached to two spherical subgroups H 1 and H 2 , provided that the twisting character χ i factors through the maximal reductive quotient of H i , for i = 1; 2; (ii) localization on Z of Harish-Chandra modules; (iii) the generalized matrix coeficients when K (ℝ) is maximal compact. This complements the holonomicity proven by Aizenbud–Gourevitch–Minchenko. The use of regularity is illustrated by a crude estimate on the growth of K -admissible distributions based on tools from subanalytic geometry.
On Adically Complete D-Modules in Characteristic Zero

Abstract:Let (X, O_X) be an algebraic manifold in characteristic 0, or an analytic manifold over \C. A standard theorem says that a left D_X-module M, which is coherent as an O_X-module, is locally free. This theorem has a generalization to the adically complete algebraic setting, in a paper by Ogus from 1973. In the present paper we take a new look at the work of Ogus. We provide a detailed proof of the theorem on D-modules, and extend it to the non-noetherian setting. We also give another proof of an interesting result of Ogus about adically complete modules (slightly extended). In the Appendix we discuss a related error in a book by Bjork.

Abstract:We show that Koszul duality for operads in $(\mathrm{Top},\times)$ can be expressed via generalized Thom complexes. As an application, we prove the Koszul self duality of the little disk modules $E_M$. We discuss implications for factorization homology, embedding calculus, and confirm an old conjecture of Ching on the relation of Goodwillie calculus to manifold calculus.

Abstract:Given a field k and a subgroup H of a finite group G , we define a duality for quotients of homomorphisms of kG -modules modulo kG -homomorphisms that factors through a relatively H -projective kG -module. This generalizes the classical Auslander–Reiten duality for group algebras. As an application, we use the generalized Auslander–Reiten duality to give a new way for constructing almost split sequences.

Abstract:Let $A={\mathbb F}_q[t]$ be the polynomial ring over a finite field ${\mathbb F}_q$ and let $\phi $ and $\psi$ be $A-$Drinfeld modules. In this paper we consider the group ${\mathrm{Ext}}^1(\phi ,\psi )$ with the Baer addition. We show that if $\mathrm{rank}\phi >\mathrm{rank}\psi$ then $\mathrm{Ext^1}(\phi,\psi)$ has the structure of a \tm module. We give complete algorithm describing this structure. We generalize this to the cases: $\mathrm{Ext^1}(\Phi,\psi)$ where $\Phi$ is a \tm module and $\psi$ is a Drinfeld module and $\mathrm{Ext^1}(\Phi, C^{\otimes e})$ where $\Phi$ is a \tm module and $C^{\otimes e}$ is the $e$-th tensor product of Carlitz module. We also establish duality between $\Ext$ groups for \tm modules and the corresponding adjoint ${\mathbf t}^{\sigma}$-modules. Finally, we prove the existence of $"\Hom-\Ext"$ six-term exact sequences for \tm modules and dual \tm motives. As the category of \tm modules is only additive (not abelian) this result is nontrivial.

Abstract:Let A and B be rings and [Formula: see text] with M an A-B-bimodule. We first construct a semi-complete duality pair [Formula: see text] over T using duality pairs over A and B, respectively. Then we characterize when a left T-module is Gorenstein projective, injective or flat with respect to the duality pair [Formula: see text]. As applications, we investigate when a left T-module is projectively coresolved Gorenstein flat, Ding injective or Gorenstein flat. In addition, we give an estimate of Gorenstein flat dimension of a left T-module with respect to [Formula: see text]. Finally, we construct model structures and recollements relative to these generalized Gorenstein modules.
