Abstract: We prove that the period map from the Torelli space of Calabi--Yau type manifolds to the period domain of polarized Hodge structures is injective. The proof is based on the construction of holomorphic affine structure on the Teichm\"uller space and the construction of the completion space of the Torelli space with respect to the Hodge metric.

Abstract:We study SYZ mirror symmetry in the context of non-Kähler Calabi–Yau manifolds. In particular, we study the six-dimensional Type II supersymmetric SU(3) systems with Ramond–Ramond fluxes, and generalize them to higher dimensions. We show that Fourier–Mukai transform provides the mirror map between these Type IIA and Type IIB supersymmetric systems in the semi-flat setting. This is concretely exhibited by nilmanifolds.

Abstract:Wan conjectures that if $X$ and $Y$ form a strong mirror pair of Calabi-Yau varieties over a finite field $F_q$ with $q$ elements, then X and Y have the same number of $F_{q^k}$-rational points modulo $q^k$. We prove this conjecture under the condition that $Y$ can be obtained from $X$ through quotient construction.

Abstract:We prove Kontsevich's homological mirror symmetry conjecture for a large class of mirror pairs of Calabi--Yau hypersurfaces in toric varieties. These mirror pairs were constructed by Batyrev from dual reflexive polytopes. The theorem holds in characteristic zero and in all but finitely many positive characteristics.

Abstract:Mirror Symmetry, Picard-Fuchs equations and instanton corrected Yukawa couplings are discussed within the framework of toric geometry. It allows to establish mirror symmetry of Calabi-Yau spaces for which the mirror manifold had been unavailable in previous constructions. Mirror maps and Yukawa couplings are explicitly given for several examples with two and three moduli.

Abstract:We show that complex multiplication on abelian varieties is equivalent to the existence of a constant rational Kähler metric. We give a sufficient condition for a mirror of an abelian variety of CM-type to be of CM-type as well. We also study the relationship between complex multiplication and rationality of a toroidal lattice vertex algebra.

On Mirror Symmetry and Irrationality of Zeta Values

Abstract:A fundamental object of study in mirror symmetry of $n$-dimensional Fano varieties is the A-side connection on small quantum cohomology. When the Picard rank is 1, the Borel transform relates the quantum differential operator of the Fano to the Picard-Fuchs operator of the mirror to the associated pencil of anticanonical Calabi-Yau $(n-1)$-folds on the Fano variety. Expanding on related work by W. Yang on the Beukers-Peters pencil of K3 surfaces associated with Apéry's proof for the irrationality of $\zeta(3)$, for such operators we define holomorphic prepotentials, virtual Yukawa couplings, and virtual instanton numbers, analogous to the usual ingredients of Calabi-Yau mirror symmetry. We prove that when the underlying Calabi-Yau operator is modular, the virtual Yukawa coupling is a modular form of weight-$(n+1)$, with the holomorphic prepotential as an Eichler integral. We then analyze the quantum differential operators for modular pencils of K3 surfaces arising as Dolgachev-Nikulin-Pinkham mirrors for the anticanonical linear systems for the 17 deformation classes of Fano threefolds of Picard rank-1 classified by Iskovskikh from the perspective of Golyshev & Zagier's proof of the Gamma conjecture for such Fanos, the natural setting of Yang's work. Here, the virtual instanton numbers are proven to be periodic integers with period equal to the level of the modular subgroup. Finally, we conjecture that the geometric nature of these virtual instanton numbers can be understood in terms of relative genus zero Gromov-Witten invariants of the associated log Calabi-Yau pair from the Fano threefold and anticanonical K3.

A class in is an analytic correspondence , if it belongs to the subring generated by Chern classes of coherent analytic sheaves. A Categorification of Morelli's Theorem and Homological Mirror Symmetry for Toric Varieties

Abstract:Let $X_\Sigma$ be a complete toric variety. The coherent-constructible correspondence $\kappa$ of \cite{FLTZ} equates $\Perf_T(X_\Sigma)$ with a subcategory $Sh_{cc}(M_\bR;\LS)$ of constructible sheaves on a vector space $M_\bR.$ The microlocalization equivalence $\mu$ of \cite{NZ,N} relates these sheaves to a subcategory $Fuk(T^*M_\bR;\LS)$ of the Fukaya category of the cotangent $T^*M_\bR$. When $X_\Si$ is nonsingular, taking the derived category yields an equivariant version of homological mirror symmetry, $DCoh_T(X_\Si)\cong DFuk(T^*M_\bR;\LS)$, which is an equivalence of triangulated tensor categories. The nonequivariant coherent-constructible correspondence $\bar{\kappa}$ of \cite{T} embeds $\Perf(X_\Si)$ into a subcategory $Sh_c(T_\bR^\vee;\bar{\Lambda}_\Si)$ of constructible sheaves on a compact torus $T_\bR^\vee$. When $X_\Si$ is nonsingular, the composition of $\bar{\kappa}$ and microlocalization yields a version of homological mirror symmetry, $DCoh(X_\Sigma)\hookrightarrow DFuk(T^*T_\bR;\bar{\Lambda}_\Si)$, which is a full embedding of triangulated tensor categories. When $X_\Si$ is nonsingular and projective, the composition $\tau=\mu\circ \kappa$ is compatible with T-duality, in the following sense. An equivariant ample line bundle $\cL$ has a hermitian metric invariant under the real torus, whose connection defines a family of flat line bundles over the real torus orbits. This data produces a T-dual Lagrangian brane $\mathbb L$ on the universal cover $T^*M_\bR$ of the dual real torus fibration. We prove $\mathbb L\cong \tau(\cL)$ in $Fuk(T^*M_\bR;\LS).$ Thus, equivariant homological mirror symmetry is determined by T-duality.
A Moduli Space for Rational Homotopy Types with the Same Homotopy Lie Algebra

Abstract:Since Quillen proved his famous equivalences of homotopy categories in 1969, much work has been done towards classifying the rational homotopy types of simply connected topological places. The majority of this work has focused on rational homotopy types with the same cohomology algebra. The models in this case were differential graded algebras and acted similarly to differential forms. These models were then used together with some deformation theory to describe a moduli space for all rational homotopy types with a given cohomology algebra. Indeed, this theory has been very well developed. However, there is another case to consider. That is, the collection of rational homotopy types with the same homotopy Lie algebra (same homotopy groups and Whitehead product structure). This case, arguably, is closer to the heart of homotopy theory, as it fixes the homotopy groups themselves and how they interact with each other. However, the Lie case has received less attention and is less developed than its cohomology counterpart. The main purpose of this paper is to completely develop the theory for rational homotopy types of simply-connected topological spaces with the same homotopy Lie algebra. It will include some foundations of the theory as well as some new work. Often, previously-known results will be streamlined, reworded, or reproven to make them directly relevant to the results of this paper. By the end of the paper, deformation theory will be developed and the moduli space for rational homotopy types with a fixed homotopy Lie algebra will be defined and justified.

Abstract:A number of compactifications familiar in complex-analytic geometry, in particular, the Baily-Borel compactification and its toroidal variants, as well as the Deligne-Mumford compactifications, can be covered by open subsets whose nonempty intersections are Eilenberg-MacLane spaces. We exploit this fact to describe the (rational) homotopy type of these spaces and the natural maps between them in terms of the simplicial sets attached to certain categories. We thus generalize an old result of Charney-Lee on the Baily-Borel compactification of A_g and recover (and rephrase) a more recent one of Ebert-Giansiracusa on the Deligne-Mumford compactifications. We also describe an extension of the period map for Riemann surfaces (going from the Deligne-Mumford compactification to the Baily-Borel compactification of the moduli space of principally polarized varieties) in these terms.

Abstract:We study homological mirror symmetry for Hirzebruch surface $\mathbb{F}_k$ as a complex manifold by using the Strominger-Yau-Zaslow construction of mirror pair and Morse homotopy. For the toric Fano surfaces, Futaki-Kajiura and the author proved homological mirror symmetry by using Morse homotopy in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2008.13462" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2008.13462">arXiv:2008.13462</a>, <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2012.06801" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2012.06801">arXiv:2012.06801</a>, and <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2303.07851" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2303.07851">arXiv:2303.07851</a>. In this paper, we extend Futaki-Kajiura's result of Hirzebruch surface $\mathbb{F}_1$ to $\mathbb{F}_k$. We discuss Morse homotopy and show homological mirror symmetry in the sense above holds true.

Abstract:The presented paper is a continuation of the series of papers [17, 18]. In this paper, utilizing Batyrev and Borisov's duality construction on nef-partitions, we generalize the recipe in [17,18] to construct a pair of singular double cover Calabi-Yau varieties ( Y, Y (nu) ) over toric manifolds and compute their topological Euler characteristics and Hodge numbers. In the 3 -dimensional cases, we show that ( Y, Y (nu) ) forms a topological mirror pair, i.e., h (p , q) ( Y ) = h (3 - p,q) ( Y (nu) ) for all p, q .

Abstract:In this paper, we prove a homological mirror symmetry equivalence for pairs of multiplicative hypertoric varieties, and we calculate monodromy autoequivalences of these categories by promoting our result to an equivalence of perverse schobers. We prove our equivalence by matching holomorphic Lagrangian skeleta, on the A-model side, with non-commutative resolutions on the B-model side. The hyperkähler geometry of these spaces provides each category with a natural t-structure, which helps clarify SYZ duality in a hyperkähler context. Our results are a prototype for mirror symmetry statements relating pairs of K-theoretic Coulomb branches.
