Peanut allergy in toddlers

Abstract:We know that nearly a third of children with peanut allergy will outgrow their response by the age of six and if you introduce peanut protein as early as 4–6 months of age, this will substantially reduce the development of peanut allergy later in childhood. Is there a role for desensitisation and can desensitisation work in children less than 4 years of age?
