Abstract:Nowadays, the growing complexity of mathematical and computational modelling demands the simplicity of mathematical and computational equations for solving today’s scientific problems and challenges. This paper presents combinatorial geometric series, innovative binomial coefficients, combinatorial equations, binomial expansions, calculus with combinatorial geometric series, and innovative binomial theorems. Combinatorics involves integers, factorials, binomial coefficients, discrete mathematics, and theoretical computer science for finding solutions to the problems in computing and engineering science. The combinatorial geometric series with binomial expansions and its theorems refer to the methodological advances which are useful for researchers who are working in computational science. Computational science is a rapidly growing multi-and inter-disciplinary area where science, engineering, computation, mathematics, and collaboration use advance computing capabilities to understand and solve the most complex real-life problems.

Abstract:In this paper, we deduce several new identities on infinite series with denominators of summands containing both binomial coefficients and linear parts. For example, we evaluate the sums $$\sum_{k=1}^\infty\frac{x_0^k}{(2k-1)\binom{3k}k},\ \sum_{k=0}^\infty\frac{x_0^k}{(3k+1)\binom{3k}k} \ \text{and}\ \sum_{k=0}^\infty\frac{x_0^k}{(3k+2)\binom{3k}k}$$ for any $x_0\in(-27/4,27/4)$. For any $1<n\le 85/4$, we obtain the following fast converging series for $\log n$: $$\begin{aligned}&\sum_{k=0}^\infty\frac{(2(n^2+6n+1)^2k+n^4+30n^2+1)(n-1)^{4k}}{(4k+1)(-n)^k(n+1)^{2k}\binom{4k}{2k}}\\&\qquad=8n(n+1)^2-2n(n^2-1)\log n.\end{aligned}$$ We also prove that $$\sum_{k=0}^\infty\frac{153965k^2-96459k+22786}{(-8)^k\binom{4k}k}=\frac{64}5(1634-45\log2).$$ In addition, we pose many new conjectural series identities involving binomial coefficients; for example, we conjecture that $$\sum_{k=1}^\infty\frac{\binom{2k}k^3}{4096^k}\bigg(9(42k+5)\sum_{j=0}^{k-1}\frac1{(2j+1)^4}+\frac{25}{(2k+1)^3}\bigg)=\frac 56\pi^3.$$

Abstract:In the theory of hypergeometric series and generalized hypergeometric series, classical summation theorems, such as the two of Gauss and those of Kummer and Bailey for the series 2F1; those of Watson, Dixon, Whipple, and Saalschutz for the series 3F2; and others, play a key role. Applications of these classical summation theorems are well known. Berndt pointed out that a large number of interesting summations (including Ramanujan's summations and the Gregory–Leibniz pi summation) can be obtained very quickly by employing the above-mentioned classical summation theorems. Also, several interesting results involving products of generalized hypergeometric series have been obtained by Bailey by employing the above-mentioned classical summation theorems. Recently, the above-mentioned classical summation theorems have been generalized and extended. In our present investigations, our aim is to demonstrate the applications of the extended Kummer's summation theorem in establishing (i) extensions of Gauss's second summation theorem and Bailey's summation theorem; (ii) extensions of several summations (including Ramanujan's summations); (iii) extensions of several results involving products of generalized hypergeometric series; and (iv) an extension of classical Dixon's summation theorem. As special cases, we recover several known summations (including several Ramanujan summations and the Gregory–Leibniz pi summation) and various results involving products of generalized hypergeometric series due to Bailey.

Abstract:We use contour integrals and the Cauchy residue theorem in order to derive several summation formulas, in terms of the higher-order Bernoulli polynomials and the ordinary Bernoulli and Euler polynomials, for a remarkably general family of secant sums. Numerous (known or new) special cases are shown to follow readily from the summation formulas presented in this paper.

Abstract:We find various series that involves the central binomial coefficients $\binom{2n}{n}$, harmonic numbers and Fibonacci Numbers.\\ Contrary to the traditional hypergeometric function $_pF_q$ approach, our method utilizes a straightforward transformation to obtain new evaluations linked to Fibonacci numbers and the golden ratio. Before the end of this paper, we also gave a new series representation for $\zeta(2)$.

Abstract:Making use of a telescoping approach, three types of sums of binomial quotients are examined. The summation terms of the two types of alternating sums have symmetry (i.e., their numerators and denominators are completely symmetric). We obtained a series of their explicit sums. Furthermore, by means of binomial relations, three recurrence relations of the sums are derived. In addition, series of double summation formulae involving binomial quotients are established.
