Abstract:Purpose: To describe the indications for, and surgical technique of, tibial condylar valgus osteotomy (TCVO). Indications: TCVO is commonly performed in patients with middle-to-end-stage medial unicompartmental osteoarthritis. Among the most important TCVO indication criteria are the types of tibial plateau shape. The convex-type (also called "pagoda-type"), with over a 5° joint line convergence angle on the standing X-ray, meets the indication criteria for TCVO. Surgical technique: An L-shaped osteotomy is performed from the medial side of the proximal tibia to the lateral beak of the intercondylar eminence. The apex of the L-shaped osteotomy line is on the medial border of the patellar tendon insertion. Surgeons should note the direction of the chisel (during the osteotomy) to the intercondylar eminence following fluoroscopic guidance. The posterior cortical bone is cut under a lateral view observation, and the crossed-leg position is adopted to prevent injury to the popliteal blood vessels. The spreader should be positioned at the posterior cortical bone to avoid increasing the tibial slope. The locking plate reliably stabilizes the osteotomy and helps shorten the period of postoperative rehabilitation. Conclusions: TCVO adjusts varus deformity alongside joint congruity. Accurate identification of indications and a detailed surgical plan would ensure effective correction and proper alignment. Additional osteotomies are recommended in case of under-correction of the varus limb deformity. TCVO is an effective intervention in patients with advanced knee osteoarthritis and lateral joint laxity with the pagoda-type tibial plateau shape.

Abstract:Background Tibial condylar valgus osteotomy (TCVO), or Chiba osteotomy, is a recognized procedure for treating advanced knee osteoarthritis in middle-aged individuals. Although its effectiveness is established, limited literature exists on its outcomes for specific conditions such as post-traumatic deformities, Blount disease (BD), and Pagoda-like proximal tibia varus deformities. Hypothesis We hypothesized that TCVO could improve both clinical and radiographic outcomes in patients with severe varus deformities, correcting lower-limb variances while preserving Joint Line Obliquity (JLO) and patellar height in substantial varus deformities. Patients and methods This study included 33 patients who underwent TCVO, with etiologies including post-traumatic (26 patients, 78.8%), Blount disease (4 patients, 12.1%), and Pagoda deformities (3 patients, 9.1%). The average age was 32.5 years (SD = 12.8 years). Techniques for deformity correction varied, including Patient Specific Instrumentation (PSI) for 10 patients (30.3%) and locking plate fixation for 13 patients (39.4%). We assessed several radiological parameters such as hip-knee-ankle angle (HKA), medial proximal tibial angle (MPTA), joint line convergence angle (JLCA), Caton-Deschamps index (CDI), and proximal posterior tibial angle (PPTA). Patient-reported outcomes, including the Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) and simple knee value (SKV), were recorded both pre-operatively and two years post-operatively. Results Statistically significant improvements were observed in clinical scores and alignment changes two years post-operatively, including increases in HKA (from 166.1 to 178.4, p < .0001) and MPTA (from 72.4 to 85.1, p < .0001), and a decrease in JLO (from 9.8 to 3.2, p < .0001). No significant changes were noted in JLCA, PPTA, and CDI, with the patellar height remaining stable post-operatively. The achieved corrections closely matched the pre-operative plans. Conclusion TCVO offers significant improvements in radiological and clinical parameters for patients with substantial tibial varus deformities, effectively maintaining JLO and patellar height. Optimal outcomes from TCVO are dependent on careful patient selection and precise execution of surgical techniques. Level of evidence III.

Abstract:The purpose of the study was to report the clinical, functional and radiological outcome following varus osteotomy as a salvage procedure in young to middle-aged patients with patellofemoral arthritis (PFA) and associated valgus malalignment. It was hypothesized that a significant improvement in knee function and reduction in pain would be achieved. Moreover, no conversion to patellofemoral joint arthroplasty could be observed.

Abstract:A 72-year-old female patient with a fixed valgus knee deformity due to a Schatzker type V tibial plateau fracture treated with bilateral locking plates 8 years ago was admitted to our clinic with complaints of chronic pain and knee instability when walking. Radiographs revealed Kellgren-Lawrence Classification grade 4 knee osteoarthritis and 20.5° of valgus knee deformity. She was treated with three-dimensional templating and proximal lateral tibial fitting patient-specific instrumentation-assisted mechanically aligned posterior sacrificing total knee arthroplasty with minimal removal of the retained hardware for the internal fixation of the tibial plateau fracture via a lateral approach, resulting in a favorable clinical outcome. The use of proximal lateral tibial fitting patient-specific instrumentation in fixed valgus complex primary total knee arthroplasty for patients with retaining hardware for internal fixation to treat tibial plateau fractures is considered a treatment option to decrease surgical invasion.

Abstract:Correction of the varus deformities in the tibia is necessary because of the excessive pressure exerted on the medial compartment of the knee, which intensifies the degenerative process. Correction strategies encompass a variety of approaches and depend on the patient's individual characteristics, age, soft tissue condition, and the orthopaedic surgeon's experience with different surgical materials. Size and location of the deformity, whether gradual or acute, play crucial roles in choosing the most appropriate material and shape. The gradual correction is especially indicated for patients with severe deformities, soft tissue involvement, and a history of bone infections. This study aimed to introduce a gradual correction technique for varus deformities in the tibia using a unilateral external fixator and to describe the postoperative follow-up. This technique offers notable advantages, including accurate correction, better patient acceptance, lighter assembly, less risk of pseudarthrosis, and shorter distraction process owing to the use of a single piece. In addition, the operated limb can support the load on the day after surgery, and dynamic follow-up is performed on an outpatient basis.

Abstract:Objective: Correction of a severe tibial varus deformity near the knee joint with only a slight influence on leg length and patella height. Indications: Medial osteoarthritis and/or cartilage damage with a severe varus deformity > 10° with a medial proximal tibial angle (MPTA) < 80°. Contraindications: Femoral varus deformity with lateral distal femoral angle > 91°, severe lateral cartilage damage, lateral osteoarthritis, lateral meniscus loss. Surgical technique: Skin incision of approx. 8-10 cm between the tibial tuberosity and the head of the fibula. Exploration of the peroneal nerve. Detachment of the extensors. Insertion of an obliquely ascending guidewire ending approximately 10 mm below the medial articular surface. Insertion of a second guidewire. This aims at the middle of the first wire (hemi wedge). Check the wire position under fluoroscopy. Osteotomy with an oscillating saw under cooling. Removal of the wedge and closure of the osteotomy. Percutaneous needling of the medial collateral ligament with a cannula to carefully lengthen the ligament. Check the correction result with a metal rod. Osteosynthesis with lateral angle-stable plate. Postoperative management: Partial weight-bearing with 10 kg for 6 weeks postoperatively, free range of motion. Results: Reports from the literature show that good clinical results can be achieved with this procedure for severe tibial varus deformities. Postoperative leg length discrepancies are less common with this procedure than with laterally closing osteotomy.
A Simple Surgical Technique for Correction of Varus Deformity in Advanced Osteoarthritis of Knees by Medial Femoral Condylar Sliding Osteotomy-Description of Procedure and short term Outcome-A Prospective Study

Abstract:Background: Advanced osteoarthritis of knees with varus deformity consists of attenuation of lateral structures with contracture of the posteromedial structures and formation of medial osteophytes. The conventional step-wise medial and posteromedial release with measured resection may sometimes hinder achievement of perfectly balanced flexion and extension gaps with maintenance of flexion stability, without the use of a constrained prosthesis. Medial femoral epicondylar sliding osteotomy tailors the balancing to the need of the kinematics of the native knee and precludes the use of a constrained implant. Methods: 15 patients with Ahlbäck Grades III through V osteoarthritic changes at Howrah Orthopaedic Hospital were included in a prospective cohort case series with a minimum period of follow-up being 12 months. Physical examination, clinical questionnaire and radiographic evaluation were done post-operatively for objectification by functional Knee Society and Oxford Knee Scores respectively. Results and analysis: The mean post-operative femorotibial angulation ameliorated to a value of 3.73 ± 1.58° from 18.67 ± 4.2° in the pre-operative stage. The mean overall Range of Motion of operated knee was 109.87 ± 6.86° with no residual frontal laxity and/or laxity in the coronal plane. The mean amount of resection of tibial plateau in patients with severe varus deformity was kept to a minimum, 6.56 mm from the least deficient portion of the lateral condyle. There were no complications as regards component loosening and/or surgical-site infection. Conclusion: The main objective of balancing a severely varus-afflicted knee is to preserve as much of the Medial Collateral Ligament as possible, to retain its check rein function and not jeopardise the stability. This is ensured by distalisation and posteriorizing the medial epicondyle by an incomplete osteotomy in addition to modest tibial resection fetching a non-isometric point of knee flexion. All osteotomies united by bony union and restoration of kinematic alignment. The limitation of this study however includes the lack of long-term results, such as late instability and polyethylene wear.

Abstract:Varus malunited tibial plateau fracture is a disabling condition causing varus thrust gait, instability, and secondary osteoarthrosis. There are few evidence-based guidelines for the management of symptomatic varus malunion in young patients. Our case series aims to review outcomes of open wedge high tibial osteotomy for varus malunited tibial medial plateau fractures. We present case series of three patients who presented with symptomatic varus malunion of proximal tibia with Kellgren-Lawrence stage II or less arthritic changes. All presented with varus thrust. Exclusion criteria for the procedure would be complex intra-articular step malunions and severe arthritic changes. Medial open wedge high tibial osteotomy was performed and stabilized with locking plate and tricortical autograft. Patients were followed up for 12 to 20 months. All achieved deformity correction, reported significant improvement in varus thrust and were satisfied with their improvement in stability and knee function. There was no complication related to wound healing and no delayed loss of correction. The osteotomy led to correction of the coronal deformity and ensured that the collateral balance is restored benefiting the overall gait of the patient. Also, if such a patient undergoes total knee replacement in future, the bone stock will be significantly better with this procedure. Medial open wedge high tibial osteotomy for varus malunited tibial plateau fractures is effective procedure that provides excellent functional and radiologic outcomes, and carries minimal complications.

Abstract:Abstract Background Varus deformities of the knee are frequently corrected by osteotomies, which should be performed at the level of origin. But in contrast to high tibial osteotomies (HTO), little data exists for distal femoral osteotomies (DFO). This study evaluates radiological and clinical outcomes after valgisation osteotomies in the proximal tibia and distal femur. Methods We used an observational cohort study design and prospectively performed preoperative long standing radiographs (LSR), lateral x-rays and clinical questionnaires (SF-36, Lysholm score, VAS). Postoperative LSR and lateral x-rays were obtained on average 18 months postoperative and postoperative clinical questionnaires at final visit (mean follow up 46 months). A subgroup analysis of the different surgical techniques (oHTO vs. cDFO) was performed, with regards to radiological and clinical outcomes. Results Finally 28 osteotomies with medial tibial opening (oHTO) or lateral femoral closing (cDFO) wedge osteotomies in 25 consecutive patients (mean age 40 years) were identified. There were 17 tibal and 11 femoral procedures. All osteotomies were performed at the origin of deformity, which was of different etiology. The average deviation of the final HKA compared to the preoperative planning was 2.4° ± 0.4°. Overall, there was a significant improvement in all clinical scores (SF-36: 61.8 to 79.4, p < 0.001; Lysholm-score: 72.7 to 90.4, p < 0.001; VAS: 3 to 1, p < 0.001). There was no significant correlation between surgical accuracy and outcome scores. Conclusion Valgisation osteotomies lead to a significant improvement in all clinical scores with the demonstrated treatment protocol. An appreciable proportion of varus deformities are of femoral origin. Since cDFO provides comparable radiological and clinical results as oHTO, this is an important treatment option for varus deformities of femoral origin.

Abstract:We present the case of a preventive tibial plateau flexion osteotomy in an adolescent patient who had a reduced posterior slope of the tibial plateau. The patient was asymptomatic and without instability at the time. However, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a dysmorphic posterior cruciate ligament, which was interpreted as an indication for osteotomy. This article demonstrates the surgical technique and postoperative outcome. The postoperative MRI shows a reorganization of the posterior cruciate ligament into a physiological ligament appearance.
Gradual Correction of Valgus Deformities of the Tibia Using a Monolateral External Fixator

Abstract:Objective: To present a review of patients subjected to gradual correction of a valgus deformity of the tibia using a monolateral external fixator. Method: This retrospective review included patients from January 2012 to May 2022 who met the following inclusion criteria: deviation of mechanical axis of the limb due to valgus deformity of the tibia; tibial deformity in the coronal plane on radiographic examination; a documented outpatient pre-operative evaluation by an orthopaedic surgeon and age between 10 and 70 years. The following exclusion criteria were applied: the presence of another tibia deformity preventing gradual correction using the proposed assembly; skin conditions incompatible with the surgical procedure; inadequate pre- or post-operative radiological evaluation; and insufficient information in the medical records. Results: The mean age of patients with a valgus deformity of the tibia was 30.8 ± 15.9 years. These patients had a body mass index (BMI) of 26.1 ± 5.5 kg/m2. A congenital or developmental aetiology was attributed to 58.3% of the cases. Most commonly, the deformity was found in the middle third of the tibia with a mean deformity of 14.7 ± 6.6 degrees. The total external fixator time ranged from 73 to 229 days (average 149.7 ± 36.1 days). The mean medial proximal and lateral distal tibial angles differed significantly for pre- and post-operative measurements (p ≤ 0.05). There were complications in eight cases; five cases of pin site infections, two cases of medial cortical fracture and one case of peroneal nerve neuropraxia. Conclusion: The proposed correction technique produces a satisfactory angular correction and with similar outcomes as described in the literature. Medially congruent total knee arthroplasty in valgus knee deformities yields satisfactory outcomes: a multicenter, international study

Abstract:Purpose: Postoperative instability represents one of the most common complications following primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA). To prevent this outcome, valgus deformities have been historically treated using more constrained implants. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the outcome of treating a moderate valgus deformity by combining a surgical technique used to release the postero-lateral soft tissue envelope with the use of a medially congruent (MC) TKA design without using classical, semi-constrained inserts. Methods: Seventy-nine MC TKAs were performed by three surgeons at three institutions between 2016 and 2018 as part of a multicenter, international study. Inclusion criteria were: radiographic late-stage osteoarthritic knees with Ranawat's type 1 or 2 classification of valgus deformity and integrity of the medial capsular-ligament complex (less than 10 mm of medial opening during valgus stress test at 10° of knee flexion). Exclusion criteria were: BMI > 40; neuromuscular, metabolic, or immunologic disorders; or the inability to complete outcome measures or radiographic assessment. Results: Seventy-seven patients (79 knees), 59 males and 18 females, were evaluated at 2-year minimum follow-up according to the Knee Society Score (KSS) and Forgotten Joint Score (FJS). Mean age at surgery was 70 years (range 48-91). The mean range of motion (ROM) improved from 110° (range 85°-130°) preoperatively to 121° (range 105°-135°) (p < 0.001) at the time of the last follow-up. Preoperative knee extension significantly improved from 3° (range - 15° to 20°) to 1° (range - 5° to 5°) of flexion at the last follow-up in all the patients. KSS and KSS Functional scores were 89 (range 65-100) and 82 points (range 55-100), respectively. The FJS obtained at the last follow-up was 72 (range 49-88). Two patients (2.5%) had major postoperative complications (one periprosthetic joint infection; one postoperative patellar fracture) requiring surgical interventions. Conclusions: In different surgeon's hands, the use of a modern medially congruent TKA design yielded good clinical outcomes at 2 years in a consecutive series of TKA in valgus arthritic knees. Postoperative instability was not recorded in this series and this finding was related to the high conformity design of the MC polyethylene insert, which significantly differs from classical posterior-stabilized (PS) designs. Abstract:High tibial osteotomy is a dynamic operation, used as an effective procedure in both joint preservation and knee stability. Applications and indications are expanding, with good results in the treatment of malalignment associated with arthrosis, knee instability, meniscus deficiency or transplants, and/or cartilage restoration. Appropriate patient selection and preoperative planning are critical to achieving good outcomes after surgery. Coronal and sagittal plane corrections made through the proximal tibia can effectively alter joint mechanics creating a more favorable environment for cartilage, meniscus, and ligamentous structures about the knee. Advancing techniques and technologies have allowed for more precise planning and execution of osteotomies.

Abstract:Chiba osteotomy is an effective technique for advanced knee osteoarthritis (KOA). The principle of the osteotomy is to correct both varus deformity and intra-articular joint congruity through an L-shaped osteotomy from the medial tibial condyle to the lateral intercondylar eminence. Previous studies have demonstrated that Chiba osteotomy is an effective method for alignment correction surgery for severe knee osteoarthritis. However, these reports slightly differ from the original concept of Chiba osteotomy. This report describes the pre-operative planning and surgical technique of Chiba osteotomy for patients with large tibial varus deformity, focusing on the management of early knee osteoarthritis following conditions such as post-traumatic Blount disease and "Pagoda" like proximal tibia varus deformities, as originally described. Abstract:Objective: The medial closing-wedge distal femoral varus osteotomy (MCW-DFVO) was an excellent operation for painful valgus lateral unicompartmental osteoarthritic (OA) knee, especially in the young patient. Originally, it requires a medial approach that has more precarious. On top of that, releasing of the iliotibial band that is the deforming force needs added incision. Therefore, this study aims to describe the modified surgical technique of MCW-DFVO that uses a lateral approach and lateral plating to treat the valgus OA knee. Additionally, we also reveal the outcomes of our technique as the case series. Materials and Methods: Ten patients (12 knees) who underwent MCW-DFVO via a lateral approach were retrospectively reviewed. The inclusion criteria were age 18-60 years, isolated lateral compartmental OA knee (Kellgren-Lawrence grade 3-4), no significant patellofemoral pain, and range of motion (ROM) > 90 degrees. We excluded the inflammatory joint disease, unstable knee (femorotibial joint subluxation > 1 cm), and prior surgical procedure. Demographic data, pre- and postoperative ROM, radiographic outcomes, complications, and survivorship were recorded. Results: The mean age, body mass index, and preoperative ROM were 55.3 ± 4.0 years, 25.4 ± 3.7 kg/m2 and 113.3 ± 11.5 degrees, respectively. The preoperative mechanical femorotibial angle was 162.3 ± 4.8 degrees, and the final post-operative alignment was 182.3 ± 2.6 degrees. Overall mean operative time of this technique was 92.5 ± 26.7 minutes. During the mean follow-up period of 8.3 ± 3.1 years, all osteotomy were united and the final postoperative ROM was decreased to 108.8 ± 11.7 degrees. One knee required plate removal due to hardware irritation, and another knee required subsequent total knee arthroplasty at 1 and 8.5 years after MCW-DFVO, respectively. The survivorship of this technique was 91.7% at the mean survival time of 13.8 years (95% confidence interval, 11.9 – 15.7 years). Conclusion: This study proposed the modified surgical technique of MCW-DFVO via a lateral approach. This technique provided the excellent correction angle, union rate and survivorship.

Abstract:Simultaneous anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction (ACLR) and valgus high tibial osteotomy (HTO) alleviates pain in 70% of individuals with ACL deficiency and varus femorotibial osteoarthritis, allows for sustainable stabilization of the knee at the 10-year follow-up and a return to sport (RTS) in 33%-80% of cases, but femorotibial osteoarthritis progression occurs in 39% of cases. The complication rate ranges from 0% to 23.5% (6.5% revision valgus HTO, 17.5% ACL graft failure, 7.7% venous thrombosis). Simultaneous ACLR and HTO leads to satisfactory results in patients with ACL deficiency and varus femorotibial osteoarthritis associated with a high posterior tibial slope (PTS) and appears to have a protective effect on further ruptures in the reconstructed ACL. The younger the patient and the more sporting demands he/she poses, the more we should be inclined to perform a combined intervention (ACLR and valgus HTO).

Abstract:Background: Current treatments do not support direct exposure of fracture fragments, resulting in the inability to directly observe the articular surface during surgery for accurate reduction and firm fixation. Objective: The aim of the study was to explore the treatment effect of digital virtual reduction combined with individualized guide plate of lateral tibial condyle osteotomy on tibial plateau fracture involving the lateral posterior condyle collapse. Methods: 41 patients with tibial plateau fracture involving the lateral posterior condyle collapse were recruited in the trial. All patients underwent Computed Tomography (CT) scanning before operation. After operation, fracture reduction was evaluated using Rasmussen score and function of knee joint was assessed using hospital for special surgery (HSS) score. Results: 41 patients were followed-up 6-26 months (mean, 15.2 months). Fracture reduction was good after operation, with an average of 13.3 weeks of fracture healing without serious complications. The excellent and good rate was 97.6%. The joint movement degree was -5∘∼0∘∼135∘ with an average of 125.5∘. Conclusions: Digital virtual reduction combined with individualized guide plate of lateral tibial condyle osteotomy was effectively for treating tibial plateau fracture involving the lateral posterior condyle collapse.

Abstract:Background: Recent studies utilizing weight-bearing computed tomography have identified abnormal internal rotation of the talus in advanced varus ankle arthritis (VAA) with a large talar tilt (TT), influenced by the posterior tibial tendon (PTT). This study aimed to evaluate the clinical and radiographic results of supramalleolar osteotomy (SMO) combined with PTT release and lateral ligament augmentation for VAA with a large TT. Methods: From January 2015 to September 2018, 15 patients with VAA and a large TT (greater than 5°) underwent SMO combined with PTT release. Clinical results, including visual analog scale (VAS) for pain, American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle-hindfoot score, and ankle osteoarthritis scale (AOS), were assessed. Radiographic results were assessed with various parameters, including medial distal tibial angle (MDTA), anterior distal tibial angle (ADTA), talar tilt (TT), talus center migration (TCM), Meary angle, hindfoot alignment angle (HAA), and hindfoot moment arm (HMA) on foot and ankle weight-bearing radiographs. Clinical and radiographic results were evaluated preoperatively and at the last follow-up. Results: VAS, AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score, and AOS improved significantly from 7.5, 54.4, and 72.6 preoperatively to 3.1, 82.5, and 34.5 postoperatively, respectively. All radiographic parameters exhibited significant changes postoperatively, with the exception of the Meary angle, which demonstrated no significant change. Four patients exhibited improvement in radiographic stage postoperatively; however, average radiographic stage did not significantly improve postoperatively in all patients. One patient progressed to end-stage arthritis postoperatively, necessitating additional ankle arthrodesis. Conclusions: In conclusion, lengthening and lateral ligament augmentation combined with bony realignment procedures may be a reasonable option for treating VAA with a large TT greater that 5°.

Abstract:[Objective] To explore the clinical outcomes of Ilizarov technique combined with minimally invasive osteotomy in the proximal tibia and fibula for treating knee osteoarthritis with varus deformity.[Methods] A total of 36 patients,who were admitted to our hospital between January 2010 and December 2015 due to the presence of knee pain while walking,were retrospectively analyzed.These patients,consisted of 25 males and 11 females with a mean age of 58.5 years,manifested knee pain in a total of 39 knees including 19 left knees,14 right knees and 3 both knees.Based on the grading scale for osteoarthritis,these affected knee were rated as Grade 2 in 15 knees and Grade 3 in 24 knees.Preoperatively,the affected knees were evaluated and documented the parameters on average as follows:Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score in 7,Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) score in 58.4,the medial angle of the proximal tibia in 62.5°,as well as the tibial-femoral angle in 167.3°.All of the 39 knees were treated by minimally invasive osteotomy of the proximal tibia and fibula combined with gradual deformity correction by Ilizarov external fixation.[Results] The operation time ranged from 40 min to 95 min with an average of 55.0 min for the 36 patients (39 knees),by contrast,the time elapsed just in osteotomy and external fixation placement was 30 min to 60 min with a mean of 45.5 min.No serious complications such as neural or vascular injury occurred during the operation.Outpatient and telephone follow-ups were conducted in 35 patients (38 knees) for a mean of 34.5 months.The above mentioned parameters had significant improvements,such as the mean VAS score decreased to 2,the proximal tibia medial increased to 96°,and the tibia-femoral angle increased to 172.5° at weight-bearing position on AP view,additionally,the mean HSS score increased to 88.7 at the last follow-up.The treatment outcome was rated as the excellent in 30 knees,good in 6 knees,and fair in 2 knees,with an excellent and results rate of 94.7％ according to the Qin Sihe's evaluation standard for deformity correction.[Conclusions] The combined use of Ilizarov technique and proximal tibia and fibula osteotomy is an effective and minimally invasive method for treating knee osteoarthritis with reliable results.Since this method is easy to perform and can be adjusted on the coronal and sagittal planes,it is a suitable treatment for knee osteoarthritis patients with varying degrees of varus deformity.
