Abstract:Using the vacuum hot press sintering method, tungsten heavy alloys (93W - 4.9Ni - 2.1Cu) was produced. The study explored the effect of sintering temperature on W-Ni-Cu heavy alloy. Studies in metallography reveals that an increase in sintering temperature led to the coalescence of tungsten grains and affected their mechanical, electrical properties. As a result, an alloy sintered at a high temperature (1450°C) has the highest hardness (410 Hv0.5), electrical conductivity (19.72% of IACS), and relative density (96.6%).
