Abstract:ESG research provides a framework for investors to evaluate a company's sustainability performance, guiding them to prefer companies with strong ESG performance. Superior ESG performance enhances a company's reputation and gains the trust of customers, employees, and investors, giving the company a competitive edge. ESG research guides companies to develop sustainable strategies that focus on long-term benefits, achieving a balance between environmental protection and profitability. This paper focuses on the impact of ESG on enterprise value, offering a new perspective for investors and management. The study examines A-share listed companies from 2020 to 2022, using Tobin's Q to evaluate enterprise value and the ESG evaluation system to measure performance in environmental, social, and governance dimensions. It also considers control variables for data analysis. Based on the conclusions, the paper suggests strategies to improve corporate regulation, promoting healthier development.

Abstract:Abstract With the rapid development of the times, the Internet has been deeply integrated into various fields, and many Internet companies have emerged at the historic moment, and economic activities such as mergers, reorganizations, acquisitions, issuance and listing, equity swaps, mortgages, bankruptcy and liquidation of Internet companies have also increased frequently. This has led to more and more value evaluation activities related to Internet companies, and the business model of Internet companies is different from traditional companies, so traditional corporate value evaluation methods cannot fully meet the special requirements of Internet company value evaluation. Therefore, we need to establish a sound Internet enterprise value evaluation system, and use more scientific and reasonable evaluation methods to ensure the interests of all parties to the transaction. Starting from the operating characteristics of Internet companies, this article analyzes the characteristics and difficulties of Internet corporate value evaluation, clarifies the effectiveness and limitations of the income method in Internet enterprise value evaluation, introduces the ARIMA model to improve the traditional income method and takes NetEase as an example. This method is applied to practice to verify its feasibility. So as to provide a scientific and reliable reference basis for Internet enterprise value evaluation.

Abstract:Along with the gradual advancement of the deepening reform of our country's socialist market economy and the further optimization of resource allocation, the restructuring, investment, acquisition and merger of enterprises are becoming increasingly frequent economic activities. The evaluation of the value of the target enterprise is one of the important links. This paper takes the small household appliance industry as the starting point, takes the small B Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. as an example, and uses the discounted free cash flow model in the income method to estimate its market value. It can reflect that this method is conducive to providing detailed and solid basis for value assessment relatively comprehensively from the aspects of enterprise profitability, profit quality, future profit sustainability, expected rate of return of the industry in which it is located, and time cost of funds, etc., and is widely used in the capital financial market and market information disclosure requirements.

Abstract:A reasonable value assessment method plays an important role in both companies’ internal management and their external transactions. Traditional value assessment methods like the relative valuation method need historical financial indicators and some market multipliers but ignore non-financial information included in the text. Startup companies are usually listed before they start to make a profit, which means traditional value assessment methods are unable to access reliable financial information. This study firstly investigates companies’ non-financial information and proposes a text-based Enterprise Value Assessment System (EVAS) to extract features. Then, two neural network-based models are constructed to predict one essential factor K in order to improve the P/B relative valuation method. Our experiment in China's National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) shows an impressive result on companies’ value assessment compared to the traditional value assessment model. The result concludes that introducing non-financial text information into value assessment based on our system improves the accuracy of value assessment for startup companies.

Abstract:The new energy vehicle industry is now developing at a high speed, with fierce competition among enterprises. Enterprise performance evaluation system is an important guarantee for the realization of enterprise strategic objectives. A reasonable performance evaluation system is vital to the development of enterprises. The article builds an eva-bsc performance evaluation model with EVA value as the core and BSC as the framework, determines the weight by using the method of combining AHP and entropy method, and empirically analyzes the performance of 11 new energy vehicle manufacturing enterprises with a market value of more than 10 billion yuan from 2018 to 2020. The evaluation results show that the comprehensive and scientific performance evaluation of new energy vehicle manufacturing enterprises has been basically realized.

Abstract:Compared to traditional methods of assessing business value, the EVA method can evaluate business value in a more reasonable manner. The purpose of this paper is to assess the business value of Ningde Times, one of the representative firms in the new energy industry, based on EVA model in order to prove the reasonableness and reliability of EVA method in evaluating the value of new energy companies. By analyzing the current financial situation of Ningde Times and applying the two-step EVA model to evaluate its business value, in the final calculation, Ningde Times is found to overestimate its per-share value, which is consistent with the direction of its trend in the stock price market, indicating that the EVA model is reasonable and reliable for estimating firm value, which provides a benchmark for enterprise value assessment of the new energy sector.

Abstract:Kweichow Moutai is a leading enterprise in the liquor industry. Introducing EVA into Kweichow Moutai has reference significance for the company and other companies in the liquor industry. In this paper, Kweichow Moutai is selected as the case company. First, based on the brief introduction of Kweichow Moutai, the data from 2019 to 2023 are selected for analysis according to the traditional analysis method of financial indicators. Secondly, according to the enterprise characteristics of Kweichow Moutai, an EVa-based financial performance evaluation system is established through necessary accounting adjustments, and then the EVA value of Kweichow Moutai is compared with the traditional financial performance evaluation indicators to obtain comprehensive evaluation results. Finally, according to the evaluation results, the paper puts forward some development suggestions such as optimizing the capital structure of the enterprise, improving the financial risk prevention system, and incorporating EVA into the enterprise performance evaluation system.

Abstract:After the introduction of EVA into China, SASAC found that EVA is very effective in the evaluation of enterprise financial performance, so it began to implement the EVA financial performance evaluation method to domestic enterprises. Among the enterprises adopting EVA for financial performance evaluation, central enterprises account for a relatively large proportion, while most other enterprises still use traditional financial indicators for financial performance evaluation. As the traditional method no longer meets the requirements of social development, the problems of adopting the traditional financial performance evaluation method gradually appear, so enterprises need to change the financial performance evaluation method. The use of EVA can effectively evaluate the financial performance of enterprises, and lay a good foundation for improving the financial performance of enterprises. The home appliance industry is closely related to people's lives, Supor as a small home appliance in the leader, the use of traditional financial analysis has certain limitations, a large number of use of simple financial data and excessive reliance on the evaluation indicators, the analysis process is too simple to meet the needs of the decision-making process, so the introduction of the EVA method of financial performance evaluation is particularly important. This paper takes Supor as the research object, analyses Supor's financial performance according to traditional financial indicators, and finds that the results obtained from traditional financial performance evaluation are not accurate enough, so it calculates the value of each index of EVA, and compares and analyses the EVA and traditional financial indicators, and discovers the problems of Supor and puts forward suggestions for improvement.

Abstract:Under the background of Chinese central enterprises fully implementing EVA performance evaluation system, this paper takes the 231 Chinese central enterprises holdings listing corporation as a sample, building the relationship model between the sustainable growing social responsibility and EVA performance evaluation system. The study finds that central listing companies performing on the responsibility of government, shareholders, employees, society have active influence on EVA performance system, performing on the responsibility of customers, equity balance degree, enterprise scale and age have negative influence on EVA performance system while the relationship between creditors and suppliers and EVA performance system has not clear yet. We suggest that Chinese central enterprises should combine EVA and MVA into their EVA performance evaluation system in order to build their unique performance evaluation system and provide solid foundation for reference.

Abstract:As a risk-averse commodity, gold has seen new development opportunities in retail due to factors (e.g., geopolitical risks and conflicts, economic uncertainties, and inflation). Consequently, more and more investors are focusing on the gold retail industry. Evaluating the value of gold retail enterprises using scientific and effective methods is of great significance to both managers and investors. Therefore, this paper uses Chow Tai Seng, a Chinese gold retail enterprise, as a case study. Based on the company's development characteristics, we employ the EVA absolute valuation method and relative valuation methods including P/E, P/B and P/S ratios for valuation. The study finds that although its EVA values show a general downward trend from 2019 to 2023, they remain positive, indicating that the company's overall development is still on track. The development of enterprise valuation theory has gone through the MM (Modigliani-Miller) theory, Free Cash Flow Valuation Model, and the Capital Asset Pricing Model, among others. These theoretical models have gradually improved, and the theoretical system is continuously evolving. By summarizing and reviewing valuation theories and methods, this paper employs the DDM for valuation and the P/E ratio method under relative valuation based on the company's development characteristics. Combining these two valuation methods with the company's actual financial data and relevant value theories, the company can attract investors and address undervaluation by increasing its exposure through modern multimedia channels and enhancing data transparency.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the current situation, home and abroad, of entrepreneurial risk through the valuation method. The current evaluation methods are all very complex and hard to understand. In addition, those SMEs are not fit to valuate the entrepreneurial risk. However, the entrepreneurial risk valuation method presented by this paper, based on Risk-focused Evaluate, analyzes some main risks which could happen to SMEs in the entrepreneurial process, and builds a evaluation index system that applies to the SMEs. Additionally, the method also integrates the qualitative and quantitative methods, considering the characteristic of SMEs, simplifies the computational process to make it clear and useful. The method of this paper could help SMEs to estimate the degree of entrepreneurial risk with value-at-risk, and to confirm the Key Control Point (KCP) at various stages. Finally, the method could also help the entrepreneur to make correct decisions and effective risk precaution and management, and help to reduce the losses in the entrepreneurial process.
