Abstract:Peer psychological counseling is a special kind of psychological health education,which offers a new model to our current high school education.As a part of the high school students,medical students need to have a longer study process (7 to 8 years),suffer a more demanding study load and receive various tests,so it have more possibility that they have different kinds and extents of psychological distress in emotion,employment,earnings and human communication,as a result of which,more attention should be paid.Medicine is a subject based on experience,which means the peer psychological counseling plays a more important role.The author is doing his best to use the peer psychological counseling and explore other better methods basing on the peer psychological counseling.The author creates a team named "peer psychological counseling",plan the whole process of peer psychological counseling and execute the peer psychological counseling to give guidance in imparting knowledge,selecting the jobs,easing psychological stress,communicating with the patients,going together and getting along with friends.It is obvious that peer psychological counseling have a positive effect on all of the above.Through the development of peer psychological counseling in the education of current medical student,we hope to cultivate their own psychological quality,moral character and clinical skills,so that they can be smoothly turned into qualified clinical doctors.

Abstract:In the process of carrying out the education of college students, mental health is the key that can not be ignored, along with the development of students' physical and mental health, in order to cater to the characteristics of mental health of the population, it is imperative to carry out health education in Colleges and universities by peer counseling. In this paper, based on the peer model specification, there is a full analysis of the realistic role guidance mode, and puts forward some suggestions on how to develop the implementation of mental health education to provide reference for mental health education in Colleges and universities. In the face of increasingly complex psychological problems, in order to better promote the formation of College Students' psychological model into more scientific way, colleges and universities have established a series of psychological health education mode, which is particularly prominent in the peer model. The peer model meets the realistic demand of mental health education, change the past single channel of students' psychological counseling, create conditions for improving the effectiveness of mental health education. Based on this, the paper explains how the peer model affect the students on detail. Essence of Peer Model “Peer” is a word in a literal sense, which can be interpreted as friends and peers reflecting the peer is represented by a similar age with similar values and similar experience and showing that the consistency of the group. Peer model is applied to psychological education which mainly refers to that through the training of amateur mental health practitioners, it can help the education mode for the need for mental health counseling peer. Because college students ate group life that can form a close relationship with their peers, and the interaction between students of comfort and persuasion to break the barriers of traditional professional psychological education, with its own unique randomness and kind of identity for the university student, it has the advantage of friendship, initiative, convenience, timeliness. Friendship is the most important feature of the peer model, the process of college students go into the school by the family from parents protection and to seek comfort through peer, under the atmosphere of study and life, there is similar life experiences among companions, thus forming similar views, finally able to establish strong ties of friendship. The relationship between peer exchanges is easy to overcome the difficulties of mental health education strangers dilemma, establishing counseling relationship to friends as the main path exerts a subtle influence on the students' emotion.The initiative is an important distinction between traditional and unfamiliar peer psychological education, psychological education of the workers engaged in from college students, they are helpful and the personality characteristics of the relationship between students and workers volunteered to help recipients to complete the self adjustment, while not to get the material reward for the purpose which is not driven by the interest[1], only the pursuit of self identity meets that is consistent with the behavior of the public nature of mutual aid.Peer mode mainly depends the construction of the relationship between students, implementation of education exchanges frequently greatly reduces the difficulty of developing psychological education, education of both close contacts can reduce the multiple factors for the mental health education of the obstacles and be broken through the time and place restrictions to education, and psychological counseling can be made smaller outside whenever and wherever possible.In addition, the peer model mostly used by 7th International Conference on Mechatronics, Computer and Education Informationization (MCEI 2017) Copyright © 2017, the Authors. Abstract:At present, college students' mental health education is facing many challenges. Effective mental health education can help students cope with stress better, improve their self-regulation ability and enhance their psychological resilience, thus improving their academic performance and quality of life. Based on this, this study aims to explore the role of promoting counselors in college students' mental health education, and put forward corresponding implementation suggestions. Abstract:Abstract The basic task of a college counselor to stand up to people is to contact more college students, and it is also an irreplaceable middle force for mental health education in colleges. Looking at the mental health education of college students in our country, college counselors lack the necessary psychological knowledge and attach little importance to mental health education, which leads to a great reduction in the role of mental health education practice. The purpose of this article is to build a web-based psychological health education system for college counselors, to provide psychological health education services to college counselors, and to improve the mental health education of counselors. This article will build a web-based mental health education system for college counselors based on a systematic approach so that computer networks and web technologies can be used to improve the level of mental health education services for college counselors. The system is composed of two subsystems, an online expert-type mental health knowledge system and an online psychological counseling system. The experimental results show that the college counselors’ learning on this system has strengthened the psychological common sense of college counselors, improved the counselors’ ability of self-cognition, self-evaluation, and self-balance, and also improved the counselors’ Ability for mental health education.

Peer Counseling as A Coping Strategy for Academic Stress and Burnout in Final-Year Students

Abstract:Academic stress is the pressure on students caused by competition and academic demands. This study examines and analyzes peer guidance and counseling (Peer Counseling) to reduce academic stress and academic burnout experienced by final-year students. The research method used was experimental research involving an experimental group and a control group (Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design), with each group member consisting of 20 participants, selecting participants based on a purposive sampling technique. Each participant was assigned a random assignment. The MANOVA test results showed that peer counseling reduced academic stress (F (2.24) = 101.769; ?p2 = 0.85; p <0.01) and burnout (F (2.24) = 21.769; ?p2 = 0.55; p <0.01). Furthermore, the Wilcoxon test results showed that in the experimental group, there was an enhancement in academic stress (Z = -2.82; p <0.05) and burnout (Z = -2.82: p <0.05). The control group showed an enhancement in burnout (Z = -2.17; p 0.05). Peer counseling (peer counseling) based (on stress management) as a strategy to overcome academic stress and burnout in final-year students in Metro City.

Abstract:In contemporary society, university students grapple with multifaceted pressures stemming from academics, daily life, and interpersonal relationships, rendering mental health issues an ever-more paramount social concern. Group counseling, as a collective psychological intervention, holds significant potential in enhancing students' psychological well-being. This study delves into how specific measures, such as augmenting social support, fostering self-awareness, and honing emotional management skills through group counseling, can effectively ameliorate students' psychological states. Concurrently, it outlines a comprehensive set of implementation recommendations. These measures not only equip students with enhanced resilience to navigate academic and life challenges but also cultivate deeper, more positive thinking patterns and an optimistic disposition. By instituting regular assessments and feedback mechanisms on the efficacy of group counseling, the guiding framework can be continuously refined, thereby ensuring a sustained elevation in psychological well-being.

Abstract:Objective: To study the effect of systematic group counseling on peer relationship. Methods: The experiment group had 5 children whose social distance was far from their classmates. The experiment group was intervened with systematic group counseling. Social Distance Scale was used before and after intervention. Results: The experiment group's social distance was improved evidently. Conclusion: Systematic group counseling was effective on improving children's peer relationship.

Abstract:Objective To study the effects of counseling model on mental health of private college students,and to provide evidence for mental health education pattern in private colleges.Methods A five-in-one counseling model composed of mental health education,group counseling,individual counseling,the sharing of comprehension and compiling newspapers and magazines was applied to 40 private college students(study group).The intervention lasted for 9 weeks.The effects were assessed with SCL-90,SES,PEI and SSQ at the baseline,at the end and the following 3 months of the study.Results After the intervention,some factors of SCL-90 decreased significantly,total score of SES and some factor scores of PEI increased remarkably.Three months later,the total scores and other factors of the tree scales still improved except love factor.Conclusion The comprehensive counseling model can improve mental health of private college students and it has a short-term impact.
