Abstract:Iron oxide nanoparticles are consistently shown great potential for biomedical implementations in recent decades, despite their non-toxic role in biological systems. Specifically, to treat hyperthermia, most of the iron oxide nanoparticles are employed with drugs, biocompatible overlay, and phytochemicals for increased efficiency. In general, phytochemicals extracted from plants have been utilized as a potential substitute for better functionalization of nanoparticles and to obstruct negative consequences in the treatment of hyperthermia, while contrarily majority of drugs have been tied to detrimental effects. Besides, conventional chemical techniques exhibit certain toxins that are harmful to therapeutic diagnostics. As a result, biocompatible materials like phytochemicals should be encased with the surface of iron oxide nanoparticles for improved functionality and enhanced SAR/ILP values. This green technological development has received a great deal of attention and encompasses an extensive range of strategies for reducing or eliminating toxins. Thus, the influence of phytochemicals with magnetic nanoparticles has a wide array of intriguing functionalities for biomedical applications that include antimicrobial, antiarthritic, anticarcinogenic, antithrombotic, hypoglycemic, and hypolipidaemic. This article exhibits a glimpse of iron oxide nanoparticles and their impact on phytochemicals that discharge antioxidant constituents at tumor sites with high stability and bioavailability for enhanced antitumor properties.
