Abstract:Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have significant promise as materials for many environmental applications, namely in the realm of water treatment. In this study, we produced a nanocomposite material by combining zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-67) with hydrogen titanate nanotubes (HTNT) at ambient temperature. The materials, namely HTNT, ZIF-67, and HTNT@ZIF-67, were analyzed and employed for the adsorption and catalytic oxidation of water pollutants such as organic dyes (fluorescein acid (FL), Rhodamine B (RhB), direct blue I (DB), and basic fuchsin (BF)) and microplastics extracted from personal care and cosmetics products. The HTNT@ZIF-67 nanocomposite exhibited dye removal efficiencies of 99% and 97% for adsorption and catalytic oxidation by hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), respectively. ZIF-67 exhibits the most rapid disintegration rate among the tested substances, with rates of 517, 439, 1764, 1764, and 1621 mL/min·g for H 2 O 2 and H 2 O 2 in the presence of FL, RhB, DB, and BF, respectively. The catalytic degradation process may be used for up to six cycles, while maintaining an efficiency of 78%. Catalysts based on ZIF-67, such as HTNT@ZIF-67, show great potential for removal targeting organic contaminants such dyes and microplastics.

Abstract:Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) are attracting significant attention for applications including adsorption, chemical sensing, gas separation, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis and catalysis. In particular, zeolitic imidazolate framework 8 (ZIF-8), which is composed of zinc ions and imidazolate ligands, have been applied in different areas of catalysis due to its outstanding structural and textural properties. It possesses a highly porous structure and chemical and thermal stability under varying reaction conditions. When used alone in the reaction medium, the ZIF-8 particles tend to agglomerate, which inhibits their removal efficiency and selectivity. This results in their mediocre reusability and separation from aqueous conditions. Thus, to overcome these drawbacks, several well-designed ZIF-8 structures have emerged by forming composites and heterostructures and doping. This review focuses on the recent advances on the use of ZIF-8 structures (doping, composites, heterostructures, etc. ) in the removal and photodegradation of persistent organic pollutants. We focus on the adsorption and photocatalysis of three main organic pollutants (methylene blue, rhodamine B, and malachite green). Finally, the key challenges, prospects and future directions are outlined to give insights into game-changing breakthroughs in this area.

Abstract:Water treatment has been an essential issue with the increasing population over 40 years. Researchers center on the major organic pollutants, such as dyes, pesticides, and pharmaceutical products. Photocatalytic degradation is one of the promising methods for aquatic organic pollutant treatment. Over the years, scientists have been working on developments for photocatalysts to enhance their pollutant degradation performances. From the reviewed studies, it is seen that properties like surface area, chemical, mechanical, and thermal stability, and uniform distribution of active sites are crucial, and an increase in these properties provides better degradation efficiency. In this sense, metal-organic frameworks as photocatalysts can be considered more advantageous. This study focuses on the organic aquatic pollutant degradation studies by using well-known MOFs like ZIF-8 and UiO-66 photocatalysts. Mainly the organic dye (RhB, MB, MO, etc.) degradation efficiencies of ZIF-8 and UiO-66 have been achieved to 100%. Recently, the degradation capacities of various pharmaceuticals such as diazinon, acetaminophen, levofloxacin, and sulfamethoxazole have also been investigated. According to the reviewed studies, ZIF-8 and UiO-66 can be considered remarkable photocatalysts for the degradation of organic pollutants.

Abstract:The use of antibiotics and dyes has resulted in severe water pollution and health risks; therefore, it is urgent to remove them from water sources. Among the most common methods for removing harmful water contaminants, adsorption and photodegradation are the most economical, simple, and reusable. Due to their high porosity, adjustability, and crystal structure, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are one of the effective adsorbents and photocatalysts. A typical MOF material is zeolitic imidazolate framework-8/67 (ZIF-8 and ZIF-67), comprising essentially of the metal atoms Zn and 2-methylimidazole (2- MIM). ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 have unique properties that make them efficient in water treatment due to high adsorption capacities and being good hosts for photocatalytic materials. In this article, a review study of the design and methods of synthesis of ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 composites is presented. An introduction to the current research on the role of ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 compounds as adsorbents and photocatalysts for wastewater pollution removal is provided. In this review study, we aim to supply a mechanistic perspective on the use of ZIF-8/67 composites in wastewater purification and present novel visions for the development of extremely effective ZIF-8/67-based adsorbents and photocatalysts. To unlock the full potential of ZIF-8/67 composites in dye and antibiotic removal and water recycling, current difficulties will be discussed in detail.

Abstract:This review article provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances in the implementation of ZIF‐8 and its composites for the removal of dyes from wastewater. Various synthesis methods, structural characteristics and dye adsorption performance of ZIF‐8 and its composites are discussed. Furthermore, the adsorption mechanism is also discussed in details. The presence of dyes in wastewater poses a significant environmental challenge due to their permanence toxicity and potential to harm ecosystems. Because of their high porosity and adjustable characteristics, metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) have become attractive materials for effective dye removal. Among various MOFs, zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) have garnered significant attention, especially ZIF‐8, for its excellent stability, significant porosity, adjustable pore size and remarkable adsorption capacity. This review article provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances in the implementation of ZIF‐8 and its composites for the removal of pollutants from wastewater. Abstract:Hierarchical porous zeolitic imidazolate frameworks nanoparticles (ZIF-8 NPs) were synthesized at room temperature via a template-free approach under dynamic conditions (stirring) using water as a solvent. The ZIF-8 NPs were evaluated as adsorbents for rare earth elements (La3+, Sm3+ and Dy3+). Adsorption equilibrium was reached after 7h and high adsorption capacities were obtained for dysprosium and samarium (430.4 and 281.1 mg g(-1), respectively) and moderate adsorption capacity for lanthanum (28.8 mg g(-1)) at a pH of 7.0. The high adsorption capacitiese, as well as the high stability of ZIF-8 NPs, make the hierarchical ZIF-8 materials as an efficient adsorbent for the recovery of La3+, Sm3+ and Dy3+ from aqueous solution.
Efficient removal of tetracycline by a hierarchically porous ZIF-8 metal organic framework

Abstract:Most reported metal organic frameworks (MOFs) have microporous structures and defective active sites, limiting their practical application to macromolecular substances. A hierarchical porous zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) was prepared using poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) as a structure-directing agent under facile "aqueous room-temperature" conditions to increase the mass transfer and adsorption capacity tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH). The ZIF-8 pore structure and morphology were synchronously tuned by controlling the PDDA molecular weight and dosage. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Bruner-Emmett-Teller (BET), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), NH3-temperature-programmed desorption (NH3-TPD) and adsorption results revealed abundant pore structures and open metal sites in the prepared materials, along with excellent TCH adsorption performance compared with ZIF-8, despite decreased BET surface areas. Initial screens revealed large adsorption capacities of hierarchical porous ZIF-8P3(4) (976.8 mg g−1) due to the presence of more abundant unsaturated metal sites than ZIF-8 and novel hierarchical porous structures. Therefore, TCH adsorption on ZIF-8 and ZIF-8P3(4), including the kinetics, isotherms, thermodynamics and pH effect, was studied. The adsorption process follows pseudo-second-order kinetics and the Freundlich models better, indicating multilayer adsorption of TCH on the surface of the two absorbents. Adsorption behavior test, FTIR, XPS, BET and XRD results show that TCH adsorption on ZIF-8 and ZIF-8P3(4) most likely involves coordination bonds, electrostatic and π-π interactions, hydrogen bonds, and pore-filling effects. This study provides new insights into the template preparation of MOFs with high adsorption performance as potentially economical adsorbents to remove organic matter from contaminated water.

Abstract:Pollution industrial dyes is a serious environmental issue and successful purifying has thus far proven to be a difficult task. Therefore, in study, environmentally safe zinc oxide nanoparticles were synthesized through calcination of zeolitic imidazolate framework 7 at various temperatures for calcination 450°C, 550°C and 650°C. The elimination of Congo red (CR) in wastewater samples was tested with good adsorption capability. Adsorption of CR using ZnO from aqueous solution. Scanning electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and the surface area and pore volume of ZnO were discovered during Brunauer–Emmett–Teller testing at 77 K to be 119.12 m2·g–1 and the total pore volume was 0.362 cm3·g–1. Adsorption at pH 3 was found the best for CR. Initial concentration and dosage, resulting in microporous surfaces that have a high potential to interact with and absorb CR. Adsorption tests demonstrated that ZnO had a good capability for removing CR (975 mg·g–1). However, after numerous reuse cycles, this performance was remained. The findings of the adsorption experiments demonstrated that the Langmuir equation for the adsorption isotherm and the pseudo-second-order model of the adsorption kinetics were compatible. Adsorption’s activation energy was also found to be 24.7 kJ·mol–1, demonstrating that chemisorption process. The adsorption process was calculated, and it was shown to be both endothermic and spontaneous also determine thermodynamic parameter ΔG°, ΔH° and ΔS°. The mesoporous ZnO adsorbent proved to be a simple and effective water purification. ZnO material has shown promise in the process of removing CR from aqueous solution.

Abstract:The development of highly efficient and cost‐effective materials for water treatment is paramount and the preparation of metal–organic framework‐derived layer double hydroxide (MOF‐LDH) is an area of great interest. In this study, an innovative adsorbent material zeolitic imidazole framework‐8 (ZIF‐8) derived ZnCo layered double hydroxides was prepared by in situ growth for the adsorption of cationic methylene blue (MB) dye from wastewater. Analytical tools such as FTIR, SEM, and XRD were used to characterize the composite material. Different adsorption parameters like initial dye concentration, pH, temperature, contact time, adsorption mechanisms, and density functional theory (DFT) mechanisms were studied which showed that the derived material significantly enhanced the adsorption capacity which was 502.51 mg/g at pH 11. DFT analyses suggested that MB possessed interaction sites favorable to adsorbent material. The adsorption kinetic model showed that pseudo‐second‐order had a good correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.99983) value proposing the chemisorption adsorption phenomenon. Both the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models are well fitted in experimental data as both have good correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.99771) and (R2 = 0.99856) values respectively but the best fit of the adsorption isotherm data was achieved with the Freundlich model, indicating multilayer adsorption characteristics. The experimental and theoretical analyses demonstrated that the fabricated adsorbent is a highly efficient material for the adsorption of organic pollutants from an aqueous medium.

Abstract:It is important to tune the pore properties of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) to improve their performance for gas adsorption. Herein, the synthesis of dye encapsulated hierarchical porous ZIF-8 () is reported for cationic dyes such as rhodamine B, and methylene blue. The procedure offers a one-pot method and requires a short reaction time (30 min). The materials were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transforms infrared (FT-IR), transmission electron microscope (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms. Data confirm the formation of pure and crystalline phases of ZIF-8 containing hierarchical porous structure. was used as an adsorbent for carbon dioxide (CO2) gas at 273–323 K. exhibited a superior CO2 capacity of 1.46 mmolg−1 at 273 K, which is 42 % higher than that of ZIF-8 (0.84 mmolg−1) under the same conditions. The presence of a dye molecule into ZIF-8 crystals improves its adsorption capacity toward CO2. This study may open new avenues for the synthesis of an efficient adsorbent for gases.

Abstract:The amino and iron modified Metal-organic frameworks was successfully synthesized via a skillfully strategy and used as a photocatalyst to decompose organic dyes under visible light irradiation. Results show that 50 mg catalyst can almost degrade 100% MB within just 25 min at a wide pH (3.4-11.9) range. The kinetics constant (k) on Fe-ZIF-8-NH 2 (1/10) is estimated to be 0.0896 min −1 , significantly higher than control samples. Meanwhile, there is little effect of various water sources on catalytic activities, and the rate reaches 97.1% (in Tap water), 88.5% (in Yangtze River water) and 78.1% (in oilfield brine with ultrahigh mineralization). Besides, the Fe-ZIF-8-NH 2 (1/10) exhibits high stability after 5 cyclic runs, and the ICP detects a small amount of Fe 3+ (0.153 mg/L) leaching. Characterization reveals the catalyst has hierarchical porous structure, a rather homogeneous geometric topology and uniformly dispersed active sites. Based on the N 1s spectrum of XPS, the nitrogen group is successfully loaded in amino mode. Its band gap drops sharply from 5.11eV to 2.17eV and the peak of PL spectra is much smaller, and the Fe-ZIF-8-NH 2 (1/10) possesses stronger absorption in visible light region and the response wavelength is widened to 700nm. Further, the possible mechanism of photocatalytic degradation of pollutants is also proposed. The h + is the most effective active species, meanwhile, •O 2 − , e − and •OH are both apparently participated in the photodegradation process. This study introduces valuable information for constructing high active catalysts on administration of water pollution.

Abstract:Pollution that arises from textile industries is a serious environmental issue, and successful purifying has thus far proven to be difficult. In this study, environmentally safe Zr-metal-organic frameworks (Zr-MOF) were used to develop a strategy for removing Methylene Blue (MB) from water contaminants. The elimination of MB in wastewater samples by Zr-MOF showed good adsorption capability. SEM, FT-IR, XRD, XPS, and surface area confirmed that Zr-MOF has a large area of 1498 m2/g besides a microporous material having a pore diameter of 1.2 nanometers. The pH of the starting solution, amount of adsorbent used, contact period, and temperature were investigated. The pHPZC of Zr-MOF was 7.5. The adsorption of MB on Zr-MOF adsorbents was determined as sideways interrelations by a monolayer model based on the real gas law (MMRG) and a monolayer model based on the ideal gas law (MMIG). Zr-MOF has good capability for removing MB (1.58 mmol.g −1 ) and after numerous cycles, this performance remained; up to the sixth cycle, the adsorbent had recyclability of >91.6%. Adsorption experiments demonstrated that adsorption kinetics matched a pseudo-second-order model and the Langmuir equation. Activation energy was 15.87 kJ/mol. Abstract:Photocatalysis is an eco-friendly promising approach to the degradation of textile dyes. The majority of reported studies involved remediation of dyes with an initial concentration ≤50 mg/L, which was away from the existing values in textile wastewater. Herein, a simple solvothermal route was utilized to synthesize CoFe 2 O 4 @UiO-66 core-shell heterojunction photocatalyst for the first time. The photocatalytic performance of the as-synthesized catalysts was assessed through the photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO) dyes at an initial concentration (100 mg/L). Under simulated solar irradiation, improved photocatalytic performance was accomplished by as-obtained CoFe 2 O 4 @UiO-66 heterojunction compared to bare UiO-66 and CoFe 2 O 4 . The overall removal efficiency of dyes (100 mg/L) over CoFe 2 O 4 @UiO-66 (50 mg/L) reached >60% within 180 min. The optical and photoelectrochemical measurements showed an enhanced visible light absorption capacity as well as effective interfacial charge separation and transfer over CoFe 2 O 4 @UiO-66, emphasizing the successful construction of heterojunction. The degradation mechanism was further explored, which revealed the contribution of holes (h + ), superoxide (•O 2 − ), and hydroxyl (•OH) radicals in the degradation process, however, h + were the predominant reactive species. This work might open up new insights for designing MOF-based core-shell heterostructured photocatalysts for the remediation of industrial organic pollutants.

Abstract:Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), a new class of porous crystalline materials, have attracted significant interest for potential applications in gas separation, storage, and catalysis. The application of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8), a versatile MOF based on imidazolate ligands, is hindered by its structure. The microporous ZIF-8 structure has a negative effect on diffusion and mass transfer, which can lead to a low diffusion rate of reactants larger than 2 nm. To overcome these disadvantages, the concept of superstructured hierarchical porous ZIF-8 (HPZIF-8) micro-particle has been presented, which consists of two different pore structures (micropore and mesopore). We propose a simple aggregation method to enhance the controllability and performance of ZIF-8 in a water-based environment. Compared with the same-sized ZIF-8 particles, the HPZIF-8 particles can reach the higher mass transfer through the mesopores and lead to high diffusion rates. To demonstrate the performance enhancement, the fabricated HPZIF-8 was characterized as a photocatalyst for removing methylene blue from water. The two different pore structures of HPZIF-8 resulted in improved catalytic performance. These results could inspire MOFs research for applications such as carbon dioxide capture and catalysis.

Abstract:An imidazole ester skeleton (zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF)) was grown on the surface of a ZnAl-layered double hydroxide (ZnAl-LDH) material to form a porous composite (ZIF-ZnAl-LDH). To understand the adsorption characteristics of the two materials, the effects of pH, adsorption time, and adsorption concentration on the adsorption of Congo red (CR) solution were investigated comprehensively. In addition, ZnAl-LDH and ZIF-ZnAl-LDH were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results clearly showed that ZnAl-LDH had a lamellar structure with a diameter of approximately 200-500 nm and ZIF-ZnAl-LDH had a regular three-dimensional hexagonal structure. The kinetics and thermodynamics of the CR adsorption by ZnAl-LDH and ZIF-ZnAl-LDH can be described using pseudo-second-order (PSO) and Langmuir models, respectively. The highest value of adsorption capacity obtained from the Langmuir equation was equal to 625.00 and 909.09 mg/g for these two compounds, respectively. The values of the standard Gibbs free energy (ΔG°), entropy (ΔS°), and enthalpy (ΔH°) obtained for these adsorption processes prove that the adsorption of CR by ZnAl-LDH and ZIF-ZnAl-LDH is a spontaneous endothermic process. Furthermore, through the analysis of the characterization results, it is concluded that the adsorption mechanisms of ZnAl-LDH and ZIF-ZnAl-LDH on CR are mainly dominated by electrostatic action, functional group action, surface pore adsorption, and anion exchange.
Towards Implementing Hierarchical Porous Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

Abstract:A one-pot method for encapsulation of dye, which can be applied for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), and synthesis of hierarchical porous zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-8), is reported. The size of the encapsulated dye tunes the mesoporosity and surface area of ZIF-8. The mesopore size, Langmuir surface area and pore volume are 15 nm, 960–1500 m2 · g−1 and 0.36–0.61 cm3 · g−1, respectively. After encapsulation into ZIF-8, the dyes show longer emission lifetimes (greater than 4–8-fold) as compared to the corresponding non-encapsulated dyes, due to suppression of aggregation, and torsional motions.

Abstract:In this study, we report the efficient removal of organic dyes from aqueous solutions using a newly synthesized pyrene-appended Zn(II)-based metal-organic framework (MOF), ZnSiF6Pyrene MOF, having chemical formula C52H32F6N4SiZn•4(CHCl3). The MOF was synthesized through a facile method at room temperature using dipyridylpyrene ligand and ZnSiF6 metal source, resulting in a highly crystalline structure with pyrene functional groups forming the framework. The synthesized MOF was characterized using various analytical techniques, including Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) analysis, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Thermal stability was assessed using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), while the surface area of the MOF was determined using a Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface analyzer. Furthermore, the single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) structure was studied to authenticate its solid-state structure. The as-synthesized MOF exhibited remarkable adsorption capacity towards various organic dyes, including congo red (CR), rhodamine B (RhB), and methyl violet (MV), due to its ample surface area and strong π-π interactions between the pyrene moieties and dye molecules, as demonstrated by experimental and in silico docking studies. The photocatalytic degradation of MV dye was also investigated. Detailed trapping tests indicate that hydroxyl (⋅OH) and superoxide (O2 ̇−) radicals are likely the primary active species responsible for the photodegradation of the dye under study. Furthermore, the photocatalytic property of the MOF was investigated under visible light irradiation, demonstrating excellent ability to generate singlet oxygen. This study highlights the potential of pyrene-appended Zn(II)-based MOFs as promising materials for environmental remediation applications.

Abstract:Zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8), which consists of metal atom Zn and 2-methylimidazole, is a kind of typical MOF materials. The unique properties of ZIF-8 endue it superior adsorption capacity and good host ability for photocatalytic materials, which makes it be a high-profile material in the treatment of wastewater. However, ZIF-8 particles tent to aggregate together and result in the decrease of specific surface area. They also suffer from weak recyclability, as it is hard to separate them from water after removing pollutant. The newly emerging ZIF-8 composite materials solve the above problems, and are successfully applied in wastewater treatment. In this review, the current design and synthesis methods of ZIF-8 composites are systematically summarized. The recent research progress of ZIF-8 composites as adsorbents and photocatalysts to remove wastewater pollutants is critically introduced. Different factors affecting its efficiency and the mechanism of pollutant removal are also discussed. This review attempts to lay the mechanistic insight for the application of ZIF-8 composite in practical wastewater treatment and provides new ideas for constructing high-efficient ZIF-8 based adsorbent and photocatalyst. For the purpose of revealing the whole potentiality of ZIF-8 composite in pollutants removal and water regeneration, current challenges are introduced and future research directions are proposed at last.

Abstract:Modern Physics Letters B, Ahead of Print. The nanoporous materials derived from the ZiF-8 metalorganic framework are highly interesting because of their features like good thermal stability, catalytic performance, and electric conductivity. Therefore, ZiF-derived metal oxide was utilized in several applications, for instance, energy storage and environmental remediations. Herin, we compare the as-prepared ZnO, ZiF-8, and ZnO derived from ZiF-8 in terms of structural, thermal, and morphological properties. Thus, the photocatalytic performance of all compositions. The preparation process is an effective parameter in the morphology of the sample surface. The as-synthesized ZnO had nanoparticle morphology with a size of 50–80[math]nm. However, the ZiF-8 has cubic morphology with a long rod. The decomposition of ZiF-8 converted the sample to ZnO coated by carbon, indicating a high surface and fit morphology for photocatalysis. These results mean that ZnO derivative from ZiF-8 nanoparticles has the best efficiency for water desalination with 95%. ZnO drives from ZiF-8 demonstrated the smallest charge transfer resistance compared to that of as-prepared ZnO, and ZIF-8, coinciding with the conclusion of the EIS results. The transient photoresponses and electrochemical impedance spectra of the compounds were used further to explore the separation efficiency of the photogenerated charge carriers.

Abstract:Abstract A novel sorbent ZIF-67/LDH@C was synthesised using mild etching and co-precipitation and carbonization calcination for the elimination of lead ions (Pb 2+ ), malachite green (MG), and congo red (CR) from water. The three-dimensional hollow MOF structure and two-dimensional LDH nanosized layers of ZIF-67/LDH@C were demonstrated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption/desorption, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) characterization. The maximal adsorption capability of Pb 2+ , MG, and CR could reach 662.25, 1729.83 and 526.32 mg∙g −1 , respectively. The kinetic study proved that the adsorption was chemisorption or strong complexation and the rate-limiting step was intraparticle diffusion. The isotherms effectively indicated the monomolecular-type adsorption. Thermodynamic studies showed the spontaneous and endothermic nature of Pb 2+ , MG and CR adsorption onto ZIF-67/LDH@C. The adsorption mechanisms of ZIF-67/LDH@C may be attributed to electrostatic attraction, π-π interaction, hydrogen-bonding interaction, and surface complexation between ZIF-67/LDH@C and pollutants. Furthermore, favourable stability and negligible interference from other metal ions could promote the viability of the practical application of ZIF-67/LDH@C in wastewater purification.
