Abstract:The ASP flooding is the main oil recovery method in the ultra-high water cut stage of Saertu Oilfield in Daqing. In this paper, with the laser confocal scanning microscopy technique and microscopic physical simulation experiment, the types of microscopic remaining oil and their distribution characteristics and formation mechanism in the reservoir after the ASP flooding are analyzed. The results show that the main types of the microscopic remaining oil are pore surface film, granular adsorption, corner-shaped, throat-shaped, cluster-shaped and intergranular adsorption after the ASP flooding in the North II Area of Saertu Oilfield in Daqing. Among them, the intergranular adsorption remaining oil is the oil-clay mixed state associated with clay minerals. The kaolinite particles in the pore fluid mixed with the crude oil are precipitated and aggregated under the action of polymer adsorption and flocculation, which distributed in the intergranular pores or pore throat. The oil-clay mixed remaining oil accounts for 56.8% of the remaining oil reserves after the ASP flooding, which is the main occurrence form of the remaining oil after the ASP flooding. Development of this type of remaining oil has great significance to improve the recovery of oil at ultra-high water cut stage.
