Abstract:Regular Ann-functor classification problem has been solved with Shukla cohomology. In this paper, we would like to present a solution to the above problem in the general case and in the case of strong Ann-functors with, respectively, Mac Lane cohomology and Hochschild cohomology.

Abstract:The notion of Ann-categories is a categorification of the ring structure. Regular Ann-categories were classified by Shukla algebraic cohomology. In this article, we state and prove the precise theorem on classification for the general case due to Mac Lane cohomology for rings. And an application for classification problem of ring extensions is also introduced.

Abstract:In this paper we study the structure of a class of categories having two operations which satisfy axioms analoguos to that of rings. Such categories are called "Ann - categories". We obtain the classification theorems for regular Ann - categories and Ann - functors by using Mac Lane - Shukla cohomology of rings. Abstract:A braided $Ann$-category $\mathcal A$ is an $Ann$-category $\mathcal A$ together with a braiding $c$ such that $(\mathcal A, \otimes, a, c, (1,l,r))$ is a braided tensor category, moreover $c$ is compatible with the distributivity constraints. According to the structure transport theorem, the paper shows that each braided $Ann$-category is equivalent to a braided $Ann$-category of the type $(R,M)$, hence the proof of the classification theorem for braided $Ann$-categories by the cohomology of commutative rings is presented.

Abstract:Each Ann-category $\A$ is equivalent to an Ann-category of the type $(R,M),$ where $M$ is an $R$-bimodule. The family of constraints of $A$ induces a {\it structure} on $(R,M).$ The main result of the paper is: 1. {\it There exists a bijection between the set of structures on $(R,M)$ and the group of Mac Lane 3-cocycles $Z^{3}_{MaL}(R, M).$} 2. {\it There exists a bijection between $C(R,M)$ of congruence classes of Ann-categories whose pre-stick is of the type $(R,M)$ and the Mac Lane cohomology group $H^3_{\textrm{MaL}}(R,M).$}

Abstract:In this paper, we present new concepts of Ann-categories, Ann-functors, and a transmission of the structure of categories based on Ann-equivalences. We build Ann-category of Pic-funtors and prove that each Ann-category can be faithfully embedded into an almost strictly Ann-category.

Abstract:In this paper, we have studied the axiomatics of {\it Ann-categories} and {\it categorical rings.} These are the categories with distributivity constraints whose axiomatics are similar with those of ring structures. The main result we have achieved is proving the independence of the axiomatics of Ann-category definition. And then we have proved that after adding an axiom into the definition of categorical rings, we obtain the new axiomatics which is equivalent to the one of Ann-categories. In [PJ], authors modified the definition of Ann-categories to be the one of {\it categorical rings,} where the condition Ann-1 is omitted, and the compatibility of the operation $\tx$ with the associativity and commutativity is replaced with the compatibility of the operation $\tx$ with the "associativity - commutativity" constraint. This replacement is to make it more convenient in using Mac Lane cohomology. However, the fact that the definition of categorical rings and Ann-categories are equivalent is still an open question. In [q], authors showed that the set of Ann-categories is a subset of the set of categorical rings. And these sets coincide if and only if the condition (U)is satisfied.

Abstract:This paper presents the proof of the coherence theorem for Ann-categories whose set of axioms and original basic properties were given in [9]. Let $$\A=(\A,{\Ah},c,(0,g,d),a,(1,l,r),{\Lh},{\Rh})$$ be an Ann-category. The coherence theorem states that in the category $ \A$, any morphism built from the above isomorphisms and the identification by composition and the two operations $\tx$, $\ts$ only depends on its source and its target. The first coherence theorems were built for monoidal and symmetric monoidal categories by Mac Lane [7]. After that, as shown in the References, there are many results relating to the coherence problem for certain classes of categories. For Ann-categories, applying Hoang Xuan Sinh's ideas used for Gr-categories in [2], the proof of the coherence theorem is constructed by faithfully ``embedding'' each arbitrary Ann-category into a quite strict Ann-category. Here, a {\it quite strict} Ann-categogy is an Ann-category whose all constraints are strict, except for the commutativity and left distributivity ones. This paper is the work continuing from [9]. If there is no explanation, the terminologies and notations in this paper mean as in [9].

Abstract:A braided Ann-category [Formula: see text] is an Ann-category [Formula: see text] together with the braiding c such that ([Formula: see text], ⊗, a, c, (1, l, r)) is a braided tensor category, and c is compatible with the distributivity constraints. The paper shows the dependence of the left (or right) distributivity constraint on other axioms. Hence, the paper shows the relation to the concepts of distributivity category due to M. L. Laplaza and ring-like category due to A. Fröhlich and C.T.C Wall. The center construction of an almost strict Ann-category is an example of a non-symmetric braided Ann-category.

Abstract:Let $\Omega$ be a compact subset of $\mathbb{C}$ and let $A$ be a unital simple, separable $C^*$-algebra with stable rank one, real rank zero and strict comparison. We show that, given a Cu-morphism $\alpha:{\rm Cu}(C(\Omega))\to {\rm Cu}(A)$ with $\alpha(\langle \mathds{1}_{\Omega}\rangle)\leq \langle 1_A\rangle$, there exists a homomorphism $\phi: C(\Omega)\to A$ such that ${\rm Cu}(\phi)=\alpha$ and $\phi$ is unique up to approximate unitary equivalence. We also give classification results for maps from a large class of $C^*$-algebras to $A$ in terms of the Cuntz semigroup.

Abstract:There are multiple conjectures relating the cohomological Hall algebras (CoHAs) of certain substacks of the moduli stack of representations of a quiver $Q$ to the Yangian $Y^{Q}_{MO}$ by Maulik-Okounkov, whose construction is based on the notion of stable envelopes of Nakajima varieties. In this article, we introduce the cohomological Hall algebra of the moduli stack of framed representations of a quiver $Q$ (framed CoHA) and we show that the equivariant cohomology of the disjoint union of the Nakajima varieties $\mathcal{M}_Q(\text{v},\text{w})$ for all dimension vectors $\text{v}$ and framing vectors $\text{w}$ has a canonical structure of subalgebra of the framed CoHA. Restricted to this subalgebra, the algebra multiplication is identified with the stable envelope map. As a corollary, we deduce an explicit inductive formula to compute stable envelopes in terms of tautological classes.

Abstract:In this article, we study the properties of motivic homotopy category $\mathcal{SH}_{\operatorname{ext}}(\mathcal{X})$ developed by Chowdhury and Khan-Ravi for $\mathcal{X}$ a Nis-loc Stack. In particular, we compare the above construction with Voevodsky's original construction using NisLoc topology. Using the techniques developed by Liu-Zheng and Mann's notion of $\infty$-category of correspondences and abstract six-functor formalisms, we also extend the exceptional functors and extend properties like projection formula, base change and purity to the non-representable situation.

Abstract:We introduce new finite-dimensional cohomologies on symplectic manifolds. Each exhibits Lefschetz decomposition and contains a unique harmonic representative within each class. Associated with each cohomology is a primitive cohomology defined purely on the space of primitive forms. We identify the dual currents of lagrangians and more generally coisotropic submanifolds with elements of a primitive cohomology, which dualizes to a homology on coisotropic chains.

Abstract:This is the second installment in a series of papers applying descriptive set theoretic techniques to both analyze and enrich classical functors from homological algebra and algebraic topology. In it, we show that the Čech cohomology functors $\check{\mathrm{H}}^n$ on the category of locally compact separable metric spaces each factor into (i) what we term their definable version, a functor $\check{\mathrm{H}}^n_{\mathrm{def}}$ taking values in the category $\mathsf{GPC}$ of groups with a Polish cover (a category first introduced in this work's predecessor), followed by (ii) a forgetful functor from $\mathsf{GPC}$ to the category of groups. These definable cohomology functors powerfully refine their classical counterparts: we show that they are complete invariants, for example, of the homotopy types of mapping telescopes of $d$-spheres or $d$-tori for any $d\geq 1$, and, in contrast, that there exist uncountable families of pairwise homotopy inequivalent mapping telescopes of either sort on which the classical cohomology functors are constant. We then apply the functors $\check{\mathrm{H}}^n_{\mathrm{def}}$ to show that a seminal problem in the development of algebraic topology, namely Borsuk and Eilenberg's 1936 problem of classifying, up to homotopy, the maps from a solenoid complement $S^3\backslash\Sigma$ to the $2$-sphere, is essentially hyperfinite but not smooth.

Abstract:The notion of conformal algebras was introduced by Victor G. Kac using the axiomatic description of the operator product expansion of chiral fields in conformal field theory. The structure theory, representations and cohomology of Lie and associative conformal algebras are extensively studied in the literature. In this paper, we first introduce $A_\infty$-conformal algebras as the homotopy analogue of associative conformal algebras, provide some equivalent descriptions and prove the homotopy transfer theorem. We characterize some $A_\infty$-conformal algebras in terms of Hochschild cohomology classes of associative conformal algebras. Next, we introduce associative conformal $2$-algebras as the categorification of associative conformal algebras. We show that the category of associative conformal $2$-algebras and the category of $2$-term $A_\infty$-conformal algebras are equivalent. Finally, we consider $L_\infty$-conformal algebras and find their relations with $A_\infty$-conformal algebras.

The result may be regarded as a contribution to the foundations of an emerging subject that could be termed categorified homological algebra.

Abstract:Let $X$ be a Hilbert modular variety and $\Bbb{V}$ a non-trivial local system over $X$ with infinite monodromy. In this paper we study Saito's mixed Hodge structure (MHS) on the cohomology group $H^k(X,\Bbb{V})$ using the method of Higgs bundles. Among other results we prove the Eichler-Shimura isomorphism, give a dimension formula for the Hodge numbers and show that the mixed Hodge structure is split over $\Bbb{R}$. These results are analogous to the work of Y. Matsushima and G. Shimura in the cocompact case and complement the results of E. Frietag for constant coefficients.

Abstract:In this note, we discuss the derived functors of infinite products and homotopy limits. $QC(X)$, the category of quasi-coherent sheaves on a Deligne-Mumford stack $X$, usually has the property that the derived functors of product vanish after a finite stage. We use this fact to study the convergence of certain homotopy limits and apply it compare the derived category of $QC(X)$ with certain other closely related triangulated categories.
