Abstract:The concept of a four-dimensional generalized difference matrix and its domain on some double sequence spaces was recently introduced and studied by Tuğ and Başar (AIP Conference Proceedings, vol. 1759, 2016) and Tuğ (J. Inequal. Appl. 2017(1):149, 2017). In this present paper, as a natural continuation of (J. Inequal. Appl. 2017(1):149, 2017), we introduce new almost null and almost convergent double sequence spaces [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] as the four-dimensional generalized difference matrix [Formula: see text] domain in the spaces [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], respectively. Firstly, we prove that the spaces [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] of double sequences are Banach spaces under some certain conditions. Then we give an inclusion relation of these new almost convergent double sequence spaces. Moreover, we identify the α-dual, [Formula: see text]-dual and γ-dual of the space [Formula: see text]. Abstract:In this paper, we establish a novel category of sequence spaces and by utlizing q -analogue of Λ-matrix. Our investigation outlines several topological characteristics and inclusion results of these newly introduced sequence spaces, specifically identifying them as BK-spaces. Subsequently, we demonstrate that these novel sequence spaces are of nonabsolute type and establish their isometric isomorphism with and . Moreover, we obtain the α -, β -, and γ -duals of these sequence spaces. We further characterize the class of matrices, where X is any of the spaces , c , or . Lastly, our study delves into the exploration of specific geometric properties exhibited by the space .

After that, two sequence spaces are introduced, described as the domain of Schröder–Catalan matrix. Additionally, some algebraic and topological properties of the spaces in question, such as completeness, inclusion relations, basis and duals, are examined. In the last two sections, the necessary and sufficient conditions of some matrix classes and compact operators related aforementioned spaces are presented.

Abstract:Double sequence spaces have become a significant area of research within functional analysis due to their applications in various branches of mathematics and mathematical physics. In this study, we investigate Hahn double sequence space denoted as $\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta}$, where $\vartheta\in\{p,bp,r\}$, as an extension of the Hahn sequence space $h$. Our investigation begins with an analysis of several topological properties of $\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta}$, apart from a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between Hahn double sequences and some other classical double sequence spaces. The $\alpha-$dual, algebraic dual and $\beta(bp)-$dual, and $\gamma-$dual of the space $\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta}$ are detrmined. Furthermore, we define the determining set of $\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta}$ and we state the conditions concerning the characterization of four-dimensional (4D) matrix classes $(\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta},\lambda)$, where $\lambda=\{\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta},\mathcal{BV}, \mathcal{BV}_{\vartheta 0}, \mathcal{CS}_{\vartheta},\mathcal{CS}_{\vartheta 0},\mathcal{BS}\}$ and $(\mu,\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta})$, where $\mu=\{\mathcal{L}_u, \mathcal{C}_{\vartheta 0}, \mathcal{C}_{\vartheta},\mathcal{M}_{u}\}$. In conclusion, this research contributes non-standard investigation and various significant results into the space $\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta}$. The conducted results are deepen the understanding of the space $\mathcal{H}_{\vartheta}$ and open up new avenues for further research and applications in sequence space theory.

Abstract:In the current work, it is constructed the Motzkin matrix obtained by using Motzkin numbers M=(mrs) and is examined the sequence spaces c(M) and c0(M) described as the domain of Motzkin matrix M in the spaces c and c 0 , respectively. It is investigated topological properties, established Schauder basis and stated Köthe duals of the aforementioned spaces. Additionally, it is characterized the matrix classes from c(M) and c0(M) to the classical sequence spaces and vice versa. Finally, Motzkin core of any sequence is presented and it is elaborated some inclusion relation of just described new type of core.

Equivalence of block sequences in Schreier spaces and their duals

Abstract:We prove that any normalized block sequence in a Schreier space $X_\xi$, of arbitrary order $\xi<\omega_1$, admits a subsequence equivalent to a subsequence of the canonical basis of some Schreier space. The analogous result is proved for dual spaces to Schreier spaces. Basing on these results, we examine the structure of strictly singular operators on Schreier spaces and show that there are $2^\mathfrak{c}$ many closed operator ideals on a Schreier space of any order, its dual and bidual space.

Abstract:We study abstract Ces\`aro spaces $CX$, which may be regarded as generalizations of Ces\`aro sequence spaces $ces_p$ and Ces\`aro function spaces $Ces_p(I)$ on $I = [0,1]$ or $I = [0,\infty)$, and also as the description of optimal domain from which Ces\`aro operator acts to $X$. We find the dual of such spaces in a very general situation. What is however even more important, we do it in the simplest possible way. Our proofs are more elementary than the known ones for $ces_p$ and $Ces_p(I)$. This is the point how our paper should be seen, i.e. not as generalization of known results, but rather like grasping and exhibiting the general nature of the problem, which is not so easy visible in the previous publications. Our results show also an interesting phenomenon that there is a big difference between duality in the cases of finite and infinite interval.

Abstract:In this paper, we identify the duals of Triebel-Lizorkin spaces of generalized smoothness. In some particular cases these function spaces are just weighted Triebel-Lizorkin spaces. To do these, we will be working at the level of sequence spaces. The $\varphi $-transform characterization of these function spaces in the sense of Frazier and Jawerth, and new weighted version of vector-valued maximal inequality of Fefferman and Stein are the main tools.

Abstract:In this study, we investigate Horadam sequence as generalization of linear recurrence equations of order two. By the aid of this sequence we obtain a new generalization for sequences of dual quaternions and dual octonions. Moreover, we derive some important identities such as Binet formula, generating function, Cassini identity, sum formula and norm formula by their Binet forms. We generalize all studied linear second order recurrence relations over dual octonions and quaternions in a single formula.

Abstract:The Herbig Ae/Be star LkHalpha 101 has been imaged at high angular resolution at a number of wavelengths in the near-infrared (from 1 to 3 microns) using the Keck 1 Telescope, and also observed in the mid-infrared (11.15 microns) using the U.C. Berkeley Infrared Spatial Interferometer (ISI). The resolved circular disk with a central hole or cavity reported in Tuthill et al. (2001) is confirmed. This is consistent with an almost face-on view (inclination < 35 deg) onto a luminous pre- or early-main sequence object surrounded by a massive circumstellar disk. With a multiple-epoch study spanning almost four years, relative motion of the binary companion has been detected, together with evidence for changes in the brightness distribution of the central disk/star. The resolution of the LkHalpha 101 disk by ISI mid-infrared interferometry constitutes the first such measurement of a young stellar object in this wavelength region. The angular size was found to increase only slowly from 1.6 to 11.15 microns, inconsistent with standard power-law temperature profiles usually encountered in the literature, supporting instead models with a hot inner cavity and relatively rapid transition to a cool or tenuous outer disk. The radius of the dust-free inner cavity is consistent with a model of sublimation of dust in equilibrium with the stellar radiation field. Measurements from interferometry have been combined with published photometry enabling an investigation of the energetics and fundamental properties of this prototypical system.

Abstract:In this article, we introduce Fibo-Pascal sequence spaces P p F , 0 < p < ∞ , and P ∞ F through the utilization of the Fibo-Pascal matrix P F . We establish that both P p F and P ∞ F are BK -spaces, enjoying a linear isomorphism with the classical spaces l p and l ∞ , respectively. Further contributing to the depth of our investigation, we proceed to derive the Schauder basis of the space P p F , alongside an exhaustive computation of the α-, β-, and γ-duals for both spaces P p F and P ∞ F . Additionally, we undertake the task of characterizing certain classes of matrix mappings pertaining to the spaces P p F and P ∞ F . The final section of this study is dedicated to the meticulous characterization of compact operators acting in the spaces P 1 F , P p F , and P ∞ F by using Hausdorff measure of non-compactness.

New scattered subspaces in higher dimensions

Abstract:Over the past few decades, there has been extensive research on scattered subspaces, partly because of their link to MRD codes. These subspaces can be characterized using linearized polynomials over finite fields. Within this context, scattered sequences extend the concept of scattered polynomials and can be viewed as geometric equivalents of exceptional MRD codes. Up to now, only scattered sequences of orders one and two have been developed. However, this paper presents an infinite series of exceptional scattered sequences of any order beyond two which correspond to scattered subspaces that cannot be obtained as direct sum of scattered subspaces in smaller dimensions. The paper also addresses equivalence concerns within this framework.

Abstract:The objective of this study is to advance the theory concerning positive summing operators. Our focus lies in examining the space of positive strongly p-summable sequences and the space of positive unconditionally p-summable sequences. We utilize these in conjunction with the Banach lattice of positive weakly p-summable sequences to present and characterize the classes of positive strongly (p; q)-summing operators, positive (p; q)-summing, and positive Cohen (p; q)-nuclear operators. Additionally, we describe these classes in terms of the continuity of an associatedte nsor operator that is defined between tensor products of sequences spaces.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce dual numbers with components including Leonardo number sequences. This novel approach facilitates our understanding of dual numbers and properties of Leonardo sequences. We also investigate fundamental properties and identities associated with Leonardo number sequences, such as Binet's formula and Catalan's, Cassini's and D'ocagne's identities. Furthermore, we also introduce a dual vector with components including Leonardo number sequences and dual angles. This extension not only deepens our understanding of dual numbers, it also highlights the interconnectedness between numerical sequences and geometric concepts. In the future it would be valuable to replicate a similar exploration and development of our findings on dual numbers with Leonardo number sequences.
