Abstract:In this paper, a generalization of fixed-point mappings with an iterate at a point in complete metric spaces is shown, using the notions of T-closed sets and i-P-regularity/d-P-regularity, proving conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the fixed point. Examples are provided to illustrate the results and an application to coupled fixed points is shown.

Abstract:Metric fixed point theory is becoming increasingly significant across various fields, including data science and iterative methods for solving optimization problems. This paper aims to introduce new fixed point theorems for set-valued mappings under novel regularity conditions, such as orbital regularity and orbital pseudo-Lipschitzness. Instead of traditional metric spaces, we adopt the framework of quasi-metric spaces, motivated by the need to address problems in spaces that are not necessarily metric, such as function spaces of homogeneous type. We also explore the stability of the set of fixed points under variations of the set-valued mapping. Additionally, we provide estimates for the distances from a given point to the set of fixed points and between two sets of fixed points. Building on these findings, we extend the discussion to similar problems involving fixed, coincidence, and cyclic/double fixed points within this framework. Abstract:We study the existence problems of fixed points and the topological structure of fixed point sets for nonexpansive set-valued maps in Banach space. We establish some porosity results on the existence of fixed points and the topological structure of fixed point sets for nonexpansive set-valued maps with values in an admissible family. The results obtained in the present paper cover and improve the corresponding ones due to De Blasi and Myjak (C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris Sér. I Math. 308:51–54, 1989) and De Blasi et al. (Set-Valued Anal. 17:97–112, 2009).

Abstract:In this paper, by establishing a new characterization of the notion of upper semi-continuity of multi-valued mappings in generalized Banach spaces, we prove some Perov type fixed point theorems for multi-valued mappings with closed graphs. Moreover, we derive some Krasnoselskii's fixe point results for multi-valued mappings in generalized Banach spaces. Our results are applied to a large class of nonlinear inclusions systems.

Abstract:Let be a bounded, closed and convex subset of a reflexive metric space with a digraph such that -intervals along walks are closed and convex. In the main theorem we show that if is a monotone -nonexpansive mapping and there exists such that , then has a fixed point provided for each , has the fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings. In particular, it gives an essential generalization of the Dehaish-Khamsi theorem concerning partial orders in complete uniformly convex hyperbolic metric spaces. Some counterparts of this result for modular spaces, and for commutative families of mappings are given too.

Abstract:We introduce multivalued Górnicki mapping and various new types of multivalued enriched contractive mappings, viz., multivalued enriched Kannan mapping, multivalued enriched Chatterjea mapping, and multivalued enriched Cirić-Reich-Rus mapping. Then we establish some existence results for the fixed points of these multivalued contractive type mappings using the fixed point property of the average operator of the mappings. Furthermore, we present some data dependence results for the fixed points of mentioned classes of mappings.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigated several new fixed points theorems for multivalued mappings in the framework $ b $-metric spaces. We first generalized $ S $-iterative schemes for multivalued mappings to above spaces by means of a convex structure and then we developed the existence of fixed points and approximate endpoints of the multivalued contraction mappings using iteration techniques. Furthermore, we introduced the modified $ S $-iteration process for approximating a common endpoint of a multivalued $ \alpha_{s} $-nonexpansive mapping and a multivalued mapping satisfying conditon $ (E^{'}) $. We also showed that this new iteration process converges faster than the $ S $-iteration process in the sense of Berinde. Some convergence results for this iterative procedure to a common endpoint under some certain additional hypotheses were proved. As an application, we applied the $ S $-iteration process in finding the solution to a class of nonlinear quadratic integral equations.

Abstract:In this paper, the existence of coincidence points and common fixed points for multivalued mappings satisfying certain graphic {\psi}-contraction contractive conditions with set-valued domain endowed with a graph, without appealing to continuity, is established. Some examples are presented to support the results proved herein. Our results unify, generalize and extend various results in the existing literature.

Abstract:In this article, we introduce two multivalued contractive mappings within the framework of Hausdorff controlled metric spaces, employing concepts of admissibility and C ‐class functions. The first mapping is a (β∗,ζ) ‐generalized contractive multivalued mapping, and the second is a (β,W(ζ,ξ)) ‐multivalued mapping. We establish conditions guaranteeing the existence of fixed points for these mappings. To support our theoretical findings, we provide a numerical example, demonstrating the independence of the contractive conditions for the mappings. Furthermore, we apply our results to a specific problem in polynomial equations. These findings complement several existing results in the literature.

Abstract:Banach contraction principle is one of the earlier and main results in fixed point theory. Banach contraction principle which guarantees existence and uniqueness of fixed point was proved in complete metric spaces in 1922 by Banach. According to this principle, "let ( X , d ) be a complete metric space and f : X → X be a mapping. If there exists a constant 0 ≤ k < 1 such that for all x , y ∈ X , d ( f x , f y ) ≤ k . d ( x , y ), then f has a unique fixed point". In this work, we define almost contraction in extended b-metric space and prove some fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying this type contraction.

Abstract:In this article, we prove some novel fixed-point results for a pair of multivalued dominated mappings obeying a new generalized Nashine–Wardowski–Feng–Liu-type contraction for orbitally lower semi-continuous functions in a complete orbital b -metric space. Furthermore, some new fixed-point theorems for dominated multivalued mappings are established in the scenario of ordered complete orbital b -metric spaces. Some examples are offered to demonstrate the validity of our new results' premise. To demonstrate the applicability of our findings, applications for a system of nonlinear Volterra-type integral equations and fractional differential equations are shown. These results extend the theoretical results of Nashine et al. (Nonlinear Anal., Model. Control 26(3):522–533, 2021).

Abstract:In this work we are interested in proving a general common fixed point theorem for a pair of multi-valued mappings satisfying a new type of implicit relation in complex-valued b -metric spaces. The results in this paper generalize the results obtained in Ahmad et al. (in: and Applied Analysis, vol 2013, p 12, 2013; J Linear Topol Algebra 9(1):75–94, 2020). An example and an application to a complex linear system are given to support our results.
