Abstract:The recent experiments of HL-2A tokamak have been focused on studying the physics of turbulence and transport. A spontaneous particle transport barrier has been observed in Ohmic discharges without any external momentum input. The barrier was evidenced by density perturbation study using modulated supersonic molecular beam injection (SMBI) and microwave reflectometry. The new features of the non-local transport effect induced with SMBI have been analyzed. The suppression of m/n = 2/1 tearing modes may be sustained by ECRH modulation at a frequency about 10 Hz. Continuous confinement improvement was observed after the mode suppression.

Abstract:In this Reply, we respond to the Comment by Schlitters et al. on our recent work [ Phys. Rev. E 108 , 045209 (2023)], where we present simulation results of ultracold Sr plasma expansion in a quadrupole magnetic field using a molecular-dynamics method. In the Comment, Schlitters et al. present their experimental results, some of which, from their point of view, contradict our simulation results and others that confirm the experiments of Gorman et al. [ Phys. Rev. Lett. 126 , 085002 (2021)] and our results. In addition, Schlitters et al. also provide results that were not described in our work. Here we show that there is not a contradiction but a misunderstanding of our results. This is due to the fact that simulations allow the use of processing methods that are difficult to obtain in experiment. We also present different simulation results related to expansion velocity variations that reflect the experimental results of Schlitters et al. and provide an explanation for the origin of these variations. https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevE.110.027202 ©2024 American Physical Society

Abstract:We respond to a Comment on our paper [Physical Review A 80, 023823 (2009)], which appears to have stemmed from a misunderstanding of the various energy-momentum tensors of classical electrodynamics. It is shown that each stress tensor, when used in conjunction with the corresponding force-density and momentum-density expressions, yields results that are consistent with Maxwell's equations and with the conservation laws.

Abstract:Dr. Brizard's comment on my work is based on a conceived procedure that does not come from my work. The defense of his claim that the modification of the so-called standard Lie's transform theory is unnecessary is also unsupported. This response reveals in detail the inconsistency issues in the so-called standard Lie's transform theory by analyzing both its results and root causes. The problem in the so-called standard Lie's transform theory is beyond the issue to take into account the ordering difference between the guiding center motion and gyromotion. The inconsistent commutation of derivative and limit causes another issue. Besides, the so-called standard Lie's transform formulation leads to an unnecessarily lengthy and tedious derivation process for a one or two page task under the singular (or renormalized) formalism described in my paper.

Abstract: Recently published paper [PRL 114, 147701 (2015)] contains several misleading statements and misinterpretations of known facts. The main massage of the paper [PRL 114, 147701 (2015)] is as follows: "We have shown that explicit symmetry breaking in the structural configuration of charges leads to symmetry breaking of the electric field which results in electromagnetic radiation due to non-conservative current within a localized region of space and time" seems to transcend mere empiricism, touching the theoretical foundations of electromagnetism. Moreover, basic mistakes are numerous in this article and its main claim is wrong. Below we prove it citing the paper and arguing against it.
