Abstract:To satisfy the requirement of underwater target detection and recognition, acoustic communication, and marine environmental parameter measurement, this paper designs a programmable sound source system applied to deep sea. The passive sonar equation is used to analyze the relationship between the transmitting distance and the operating frequency of the sound source system. Then, it is proposed to use robust acoustic communication technology to realize the adjustment of parameters such as the type of transmitted signal, transmitted power, and operating mode of sound source system. A low frequency programmable sound source system is also designed and manufactured, which consists of an industrial computer, ADC/DAC, power amplifier, programmable gain controller, impedance matching module, transceiver and underwater transducer, etc. Finally, we tested the performance of the sound source system in an anechoic water tank, using a low-frequency transducer to remotely control the sound source to transmit the signal. The experimental results show that the sound source system can work reliably underwater for a long time, transmit various signal waveforms of the design, and the maximum sound source level measured can reach 195dB.

Abstract:In this paper, we introducte a kind of multistage amplifier signal modulation with low noise for short-range underwater target echo signal reception, three-stage amplifier circuit is analyzed, and focus on the study of the passive band-pass filter design. We introduce the filter design methods, and then simulate and analyze the designed filter by software filter-solutions. Through the noise analysis, we can know the LC band-pass filter is designed not only more stable, simpler circuit structure, also with a lower noise than other filters, and effectively improve the performance of the modulating system.

Abstract:A technique for implementation of large dynamic range weak signal measurement is described. The use of low-noise current-feedback operational amplifier expands the bandwidth of meaurement. The smart gam-con- trol of the receiver not only avoids the amplifier saturation,but also minimizes the discrete error. The selection of filter is controlled by software,so that low-noise signal can be acquired in a wide frequency band.

Abstract:For the detection of weak signal in strong noise background, a novel method was proposed based on conventional detection method. This method referred to the weak signal detection using autocorrelation jointed with wavelet threshold transformation and frequency modulation. The united denoising system of autocorrelation and wavelet threshold transformation was combined, so the negative impact from the noise was avoided greatly in the detection result. Using standard signal with adjustable frequency to modulate the measured signal frequency, thus the frequency difference of standard signal and the measured signal meet the testing conditions. It broke the restrictions of Duffing oscillator, which can only detect signals with the frequency similar to the system periodic driving force. The twooscillator-difference method is more intuitive, having good anti-noise performance, and the relative error is controlled under 5%. The system has a strong anti-interference, and the minimum signal-to-noise ratio can reach −41 dB. The feasibility and validity of this method were proved by the simulation results.

Abstract:With the development of modern noise reduction technology, the noise levels of the surface ship and underwater submarine are lower, making the target signal weaker and weaker. When knowing target distance and sonar system parameters, in order to acquire target signal noise level, and not lose the effective information of target signals, this paper introduces a method of estimating target signal intensity of sound source. Its characteristic is adopting diode detection and level ascension circuit. After the processing of MCU (MSP430F5438), target signal intensity is got. The designed receiver has advantages of simple structure, reliable performance, good realtime performance and low power-consumption. Test results of the entire prototype system in anechoic tank show that the maximum error of received source level is not more than 1 dB when the emission source level is between 100dB and 180dB. The designed receiver can meet the designing requirements of modern underwater receiver.

Abstract:The noise power spectra of the non-contact detection system for LED chips and the noise suppression methods are discussed.As the detection system has the deficiency of low signal-to-noise ratio,the alternating signal is processed by the method of correlation detection.By using this method,the signal-to-noise ratio of the system can be increased by 20dB or more.The experimental results and simulation results are well in agreement with each other.This is very important for improving the system performance on correctly detecting more kinds of chips.

Abstract:This paper presents the design and implementation of a digital signal processor (DSP)-based feed-forward narrow-band noise canceling system using the Analog Devices ADSP-2181 EZ-KIT Lite developer's kit. The theory of adaptive noise control (ANC) is applied to an ear-muff so that the entire system combines both passive and active techniques to reduce the harmful acoustic noise emitted by machinery and engines. The ANC developed uses a 100-tap finite impulse response (FIR) filter which encompasses the least mean square (LMS) and normalised LMS (NLMS) algorithms to adaptively `track' changing input conditions. The hardware and software aspects for real-time implementation, the signal conditioning circuits and the software developed for stereo multiplexing in the EZ-KIT Lite environment are presented. Performance results show significant improvements in noise attenuation levels when compared to use of a purely passive technique.

Abstract:Based on the static detecting analyze of output signal characteristics, the signal detecting circuit for static detecting was introduced. According to the properties, the low band pass filter for static detecting was designed, and validated by simulation. It has almost no degradation within 400Hz, the delay is about 1ms, the voltage degradation is about 85% at 500Hz, it means the degradation is 1.41dB, stop band degradation is 30dB. The designed low band pass analog filter basically met the requirement of static detecting.

Abstract:Based on the system of B&K3560C data acquisition and analysis.The sound insulation of underwater acoustical material is measured in large anechoic tank,the concepts of the transmitted pulse width and analyzed pulse width are presented.Different transmitted pulse width and analyzed pulse width are adopted for different measurement frequencies and the method of advanced acquisition and analysis is also used in signal analysis and disposal.The results show that the improvement is feasible,which can improve the measurement precision of pulse method in low frequencies and break the measurement frequency limitation of traditional approach.The lowest effective measurement frequency can reach to 500Hz.

Abstract:This paper puts forward an effective way to suppress acoustic feedback based on TI ′ s TMS320C6713 and using frequency shift.It adopts the Codec chip TLV320AIC23 to capture and play back speech signal,which can connect with DSP seamlessly.Then completes real-time implementation on DSP based on simulating and suppressing screaming in Matlab ideally.The result is also evaluated subjectively and objectively.It turns out that it can suppress the interference of the regenerative reverberation,enhance the amplification gain greatly and improve frequency response characteristics and sound articulation obviously.

Abstract:DSP TMS320VC5502 and the sampling chip TLV320AIC23 are used to compose an acoustic signal denoising system,and the whole structure and software flow control structure of the system are analyzed.The program infrastructure of audio signal sampling and processing is built based on DMA data transfer,double buffer switched and interrupt response mechanism under the control of DSP/ BIOS.A wavelet frequency band threshold denoising method based on multi-resolution analysis is presented.Real-time simulator of wavelet denoising algorithm is completed based on TDS5502EVM board and TDS560 simulator,and then the analysis and cancellation processed of speech signal within the high noise is implemented.A speech signal with noises tests the validity of the system.

Abstract:Semi-Airborne Electromagnetic Method(SAME) is widely used in resource exploration because of its characteristics of strong adaptability to complex terrain, low detection cost and high efficiency. However, because the detection environment is extremely harsh and complex, the signal is often affected by environmental noise when passing through the amplifier circuit. Common low noise amplifier circuit is radio frequency amplifier, In order to meet the requirements of the bandwidth of the electromagnetic receiving system in the frequency domain of ground and air in 0.1Hz-10khz, this paper uses matching transistors to design a very low noise signal amplifier circuit and conducts circuit analysis. At the same time, the amplifier circuit is equipped with a power filter circuit, a bias circuit, and a low-pass filter circuit, which together constitute a signal conditioning circuit. The circuit is applied to the receiver ,which can effectively reduce the noise power density of the system and improve the Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR) of the system, thus improving the accuracy of the receiver.

Low-Noise Front-End Electronics for Detection of Intermediate-Frequency Weak Light Signals

Abstract:A novel low-noise front-end electronics was proposed for detection of light signals with intensity about 10 mu W and frequency above 2.7 MHz. The direct current (DC) power supply, pre-amplifier and main-amplifier were first designed, simulated and then realized. Small-size components were used to make the power supply small, and the pre-amplifier and main-amplifier were the least capacitors to avoid the phase shift of the signals. The performance of the developed front-end electronics was verified in cross-grating diffraction experiments. The results indicated that the output peak-to-peak noise of the +/- 5 V DC power supply was about 2 mV, and the total output current was 1.25 A. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the output signal of the pre-amplifier was about 50 dB, and it increased to nearly 60 dB after the main-amplifier, which means this front-end electronics was especially suitable for using in the phase-sensitive and integrated precision measurement systems.

Abstract:This paper proposes a low noise operational amplifier for voice detection and recognition. The transistor level low noise technologies and the cascode frequency compensation are presented in this design. This work has been implemented in a 180 nm CMOS process and simulated with a 2 V power supply, a 200 kΩ resistive load and a 220 pF capacitive load. The proposed amplifier consumes an area of 282 fm x 332 fm and a total quiescent current of 109.258 μA. And it achieves a closed loop gain of 2.96205 dB, a unity gain frequency of 3.18 MHz with 40.2° phase margin and an input integrated noise of -109.585 dBV within 20 Hz - 20 kHz (an input referred noise at 1 kHz of 28.61 nV/sqrt(Hz)).

Abstract:The objective of this research is to employ cutting-edge active noise control methodologies in order to mitigate the noise emissions produced by electrical appliances, such as a coffee machine. The algorithm utilized in this study is the modified Filtered-X Least Mean Square (FXLMS) algorithm. This algorithm aims to generate an anti-noise waveform by utilizing measurements from both the reference microphone and the error microphone. The desired outcome of this approach is to achieve a residual noise level of zero. The primary difficulty lies in conducting the experiment in an open space setting, as conventional active noise control systems are designed to function within enclosed environments, such as closed rooms or relatively confined spaces like the volume inside headphones. A validation test bench is established, employing the Sigma Studio software to oversee the entire system, with the ADAU1452 digital signal processor being chosen. This study presents an introduction to different Active Noise Control systems and algorithms, followed by the execution of simulations for representative techniques. Subsequently, this section provides a comprehensive account of the procedures involved in executing the experiments, followed by an exploration of potential avenues for further research.

A New Method for Loudspeaker Small Noise Vibration Detection Based on Wavelet Package

Abstract:Currently, many digital analysis methods are widely used for loudspeaker fault detection. These methods are mainly focused on characteristics like frequency response, impedance and Thiele-Small parameters etc. However, for small noise vibration detection, especially for online detecting, no suitable method is available. Loudspeaker small noise vibration detection is still relied on human hearing, which may harm the tester. By researching characteristics of loudspeaker small noise vibration, we propose a new detecting method using wavelet package. The key algorithm for this new method is how to separate the response signal of the loudspeaker and choose suitable wavelet package for each subsection of response signal to quickly generate the noise vibration curve for each loudspeaker online. By comparing the noise vibration curve of loudspeaker with those of normal ones, we can easily pick out loudspeakers with small noise vibration faults. The simulation result shows that the new method is effective and stable.

Abstract:For the micro-sensor's low frequency and small amplitude output signal,an amplifier circuit was presented based on the idea of " modulation-amplification-demodulation".The circuit adopted a multiplier to modulate the input signal to high frequency,and then amplified it,which could significantly reduce low frequency noise interferences.Compared to the currently used chopper amplifier,the problems in the chopping clock synchronization and the low frequency harmonic component interference were settled.The circuit was designed based on the CSMC 0.5 μm mixed signal process.The simulation results showed that the magnification was over 100 while the working voltage was 5 V,and the 1/f noise was effectively suppressed.
