The planar dithiocarbazate unit is tilted with respect to the phenyl plane with a dihedral angle of 10.96 (12)°. Intermolecular N—H...S hydrogen bonding stabilizes the crystal structure. Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C15H13N5O7, were obtained by a condensation reaction of 3-methoxyacetophenone and 2,4,6-trinitrophenylhydrazine. The molecule adopts an E configuration about the C8 = N5 bond. pi-pi stacking is observed between the methoxyphenyl and trinitrophenyl rings of neighbouring molecules.

Abstract:The single crystals of the title compound were obtained from a reaction of MnCO3,benzenetetracarboxylic acid (H4BTC)and imidazole in an aqueous solution.The crystal of Mn(II)complex (C28H34Mn2N12O12(4H2O,Mr=912.62) belongs to tricli nic,space group Pī with a=10.036(1),b=10.650(1),c=11.102(1)A,α=114.72(2),β=95.75(1),γ=108.46(2)°,V=984.2(2)A3,Z=1,Dc=1.540 g/cm3,F(000)=472,μ(MoKα)=0.726 mm-1,R=0.0409 and wR=0.1166 for 3909 observed reflections (I>2σ(I)).The crystal consists of the polymeric Mn(II)complex anions and discrete Mn(II) complex cations,both with normal octahedral coordination geometry.Each BTC bridges two Mn(II) atoms to form the anionic polymeric chain,and the cations distribute be-tween the chains and link them through both classic and weak C-H…O H-bonding.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C(3)H(4)N(2))(6)][Ni(C(3)H(4)N(2))(3)(H(2)O)(3)](C(12)H(6)O(4))(2), contains uncoordinated naphthalene-dicarboxyl-ate dianions and two kinds of Ni(II) complex cations, both assuming distorted octa-hedral geometries. One Ni(II) ion is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by six imidazole mol-ecules, while the other Ni(II) ion is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by three water mol-ecules and three imidazole mol-ecules in a mer-NiN(3)O(3) arrangement. The naphthalene-dicarboxyl-ate dianion links both Ni(II) complex cations via O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding, but no π-π stacking is observed between aromatic rings in the crystal structure. One imidazole ligand is equally disordered over two sites about a twofold rotation axis; one N atom and one water O atom have site symmetry 2.

Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Mn(C3H4N2)(6)]-[Mn(C3H4N2) (3)(H2O)(3)](C12H6O4)(2), there are uncoordinated naphthalenedicarboxylate dianions and two kinds of Mn-II complex cations, both assuming a distorted octahedral geometry. One Mn-II cation is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by six imidazole molecules, while the other Mn-II cation is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by three water molecules and three imidazole units. The naphthalenedicarboxylate dianions are linked to both Mn-II complex cations via O-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding, but no pi-pi stacking is observed between aromatic rings in the crystal structure.
