Abstract:An Et3N-catalyzed tandem reaction of electron-deficient 1,3-conjugated enynes with hydroxylamines was developed which provided rapid, metal-free, and regioselective access to highly substituted multifunctionalized 2,3-dihydroisoxazoles under mild conditions. The reactions of 3-(2-arylethynyl)-4H-chromen-4-ones with hydroxylamines afford beta-amino enones under the same reaction conditions.

Abstract:A novel strategy to synthesize 1,3-enynes has been successfully developed based on Cu(I)-catalyzed cross-coupling of α-diazo phosphonates and alkynes with a subsequent Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons (HWE) type reaction. This method provides straightforward access to conjugated enynes with high efficiency, good stereoselectivity and excellent functional group compatibility. Copper(I) carbene migratory insertion plays a crucial role in this transformation.

Abstract:A simple base mediated reaction of 2-trifluoromethyl-1,3-conjugated enynes with N-acetylated 2-aminomalonates was developed, which could deliver two distinct types of products depending on substrates, i.e. 4-trifluoromethyl pyrrolidine derivatives, or gem-difluoro-1,3-conjugated enyne derivatives. Various functionalized 4-(difluoromethylene)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridines could be obtained in good yields via the gold(I)-catalysed 6-endo-dig cyclization of the corresponding gem-difluoro-1,3-conjugated enynes under mild conditions.

Abstract:A spiro‐pyrrolidine‐catalyzed tandem aza‐1,4‐addition/hemi‐acetalization reaction was developed with excellent enantioselectivity (12 examples of ≥99% ee), and several substrates proceeded with higher ee (up to 10% increase) compared with the literature data. Particularly, an interesting and unusual aza‐1,6‐/oxa‐1,4‐addition for some substrates was also observed.
