Abstract:A highly regio- and stereoselective trans-iodofluorination reaction of ynamides with NIS and Et3N center dot 3HF has been achieved, affording (E)-alpha-fluoro-beta-iodoenamides in moderate to good yields. The reaction proceeds under mild reaction conditions and exhibits good functional group compatibility.

Abstract:Regioselective C-H alkenylation of N,N-dialkylanilines with ynamides was developed using AgNTf2 as a catalyst. This approach represents a facile hydroarylation of ynamides, allowing for the introduction of an alkenyl group exclusively at the para position of aniline derivatives. As a result, a series of 4-alkenyl N,N-dialkylanilines were synthesized with excellent regioselectivities.

Abstract:Iodine-mediated intermolecular C-N and C-I bond formation of alkenes is described. A series of alkenes could be selectively converted into the corresponding aminoiodination products, which are versatile building blocks in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Wide substrate scope, broad functional group tolerance and easy scale-up operation make this protocol very practical and attractive in synthetic chemistry.

Abstract:An iodine-promoted, metal-, base-, and solvent-free cross-coupling reaction was developed for the synthesis of various useful secondary amides via an aryl N-addition reaction of aryl groups to cyano groups. This aryl transfer reaction proceeds with arylhydrazine hydrochlorides serving as the aryl donors. A labelling experiment shows that the N atom in the product comes from the cyano group of the nitriles, which are low in cost. A plausible radical-driven mechanism is also proposed.

Abstract:<p>Ynamides are electron-rich alkynes with unique reactivities and act as flexible building blocks in organic synthesis. Therefore, the investigation for transformation of ynamides with exceptional selectivity and efficiency is attractive and interesting. Herein, we report an oxoarylation of ynamides with N-aryl hydroxamic acids. In the presence of catalytic Cu(OTf)<sub>2</sub>, both the terminal and internal ynamides could undergo an addition/[3,3] sigmatropic rearrangement cascade with N-aryl hydroxamic acids to achieve oxoarylation, along with providing selective entry to (ortho-amino)arylacetamides and oxindoles. Moreover, deuterium-labelling reaction and gram-scale reaction were conducted to probe the mechanism and showcase the scalability.</p>

Abstract:The first Ni(OTf)2-catalyzed hydroamination of ynamides 2 was developed by reacting with secondary amines (1 and 4). This protocol features excellent regioselectivity, a broad substrate scope of secondary aryl amines, and good functional group tolerance for ynamides. Using this method, a variety of substituted ethene-1,1-diamine compounds were prepared in moderate to excellent yields with high regioselectivities.

Abstract:The copper-catalyzed yne-propargylic substitution using amines as the nucleophiles has been achieved for the first time, affording a variety of amines having diyne moieties, which are important pharmacophores in many bioactive molecules. The protocol features remote activation of the leaving group and mild conditions, and tolerates both aromatic and aliphatic amines. Moreover, the reaction can be readily scaled up, and the diyne unit in the product can be used for diverse further transformations.

Abstract:A general and practical methodology for the regio- and stereoselective synthesis of multifunctional tetrasubstituted allylic amines and azides based on iodoamination of ferrocene-containing allenylphosphonates with anilines and sodium azide is described. A tetrasubstituted olefin moiety, as well as an iodine atom, a phosphonate, and a ferrocene group, are installed to the allylic amine motif simultaneously in moderate to good yields.

Abstract:The first rhodium-catalyzed stereospecific intermolecular [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of vinylaziridines with ynamides was realized. The salient features of the transformation include broad substrate scope, mild reaction condition, and simple operation.
