Abstract:In application of fuzzy PID control,the paper designed a new servo system for permanent magnet synchronous motor.In the proposed scheme,DSP TMS320F2809 was used as the controlling center and IPM was designed as the hardware foundation.The control system uses the classic double-loop structure,the current loop is vector control strategy and the position loop is self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller.In the traditional PID control system,when the PMSM fast startup or shutdown,accelerate or decelerate,it always shows up high overshoot or slow dynamic response problems.By experimental testing and comparing,it is proved that this controlling system can provide significant improvement on these problems.

Abstract:For realizing the movement of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor (PM SLM) without position sensor, take the motor’s three-phase voltage and current as the input signals and use TM S320F2812 DSP to calculate the mover’s position of PMSLM, which is regarded as the feedback signal of control system. On the basis of hardware functions of DSP and the method of calculating the mover’s position of PMSLM,the design of system hardware frame and software flow is completed.

Abstract:In order to improve the performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) servo system,a control system combined with current loop proportional coefficient of fuzzy control and the ordinary PI integral control was designed.PMSM vector control simulation model was built in Matlab/Simulink,with simulation analysis of the traditional PI and fuzzy PI control,and a fuzzy PI vector control of PMSM servo system was built to have experimental analysis.The simulation and experimental results show that the fuzzy PI control enables the system to have better follow-up characteristics,smaller overshoot and good robustness.

Abstract:The permanent magnet synchronous servo system simulation model was established,based on the principle of vector control,with Id = 0 control manner,in Matlab/Simulink environment.In order to accurately simulate the actual system,add the dead zone and achieve the effect of discrete control in the simulation model.PMSM parameters of the simulation are all in accordance with the parameters of the actual motor manual.For controller,according to the traditional engineering method,figure out the parameters of current and speed loop regulator,respectively.But in development of the model and analysis of the simulation results,find 2 problems of simulation system:1)differences between simulink its own coordinate transformation module and theoretical formula,including the differences of select parameters and reference angle;2) due to problem of simulation step,the responses of discrete control system have a concussion in a certain degree.For the above-mentioned problems a detailed analysis was carried out.Finally the simulation waveform is very close to the actual system.

Abstract:Permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) is a nonlinear system with significant coupling.This paper applies the direct feedback linearization (DFL) theory,the appropriate coordinate transformation and nonlinear state feedback are obtained through Lie derivative to the output variable,with which the PMSM system input-output is linearized.Furthermore,which realizes the completely dynamic de- coupling.The simulation results show that the method proposed in this paper has better speed tracking performances comparison with normal PID control,and proves the validity and feasibility of designed system.

Abstract:Considering the higher harmonic distortion and higher torque ripple caused by traditional PWM strategy when applied to electric vehicles,a permanent magnet synchronous motor system based on space vector pulse width modulation strategy for electric vehicle application was designed.The principle of space vector pulse-width modulation is described in detail,and the vector control system for PMSM was set up in MATLAB/Simulink.The id=0 control strategy was used,and the system dynamic response was simulated.Digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320F28335 of TI company was used as the main control chip to set up the experimental platform.The system status and efficiency below the base speed was studied in experiments.The simulation results and the experimental results show a good consistency.It provides practical value to PMSM system design and analysis.

Abstract:Wide speed range operation of the Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor/Generator (PMSM/G) in a Flywheel Energy Storage System (FESS) leads to lower sampling-to-fundamental frequency ratio than other PMSM applications. Oscillatory or unstable response can occur if the current controller design does not properly incorporate the discrete nature of PWM modulation method. A current controller directly designed in discrete-time domain is presented in this paper based on an accurate discrete model expressed with complex-vector, and some modifications and approximations are made to extend its application to salient machines. The digital delays are taken into consideration in the accurate discrete model and the coupling problem between d-q axis current loops is well solved. At last, the designed controller is validated by simulations and experiments on a PMSM/G test bench.

Abstract:This paper presents a full-digital vector control integrated circuit(IC) for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with considering hardware structure. We adopted top-down and modular partitioning logic optimization design. Design specification of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) unit, vector coordinate transformation are illustrated. All of the modules were implemented with pure hardware and designed with Verilog hardware description language (HDL). Moreover, the proposed design was verified by Simulink-Matlab and field programmable gate array (FPGA).

Abstract:According to the analysis of mathematical model for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in the d-q coordinate system, space vector width modulation(SVPWM) technology is introduced to the design of PMSM control system. The paper builds dual-closed loop control system of SVPWM for PMSM, and the outer loop is speed loop, the inner loop is current loop, at the same time, the paper builds the simulation models and makes simulation in Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results show that the SVPWM technology applied to the control system of PMSM is very successful, and dynamic performance of control system is very good. So the application of SVPWM technology in PMSM provides a new thoughtful way for PMSM control system designing and debugging in actual application.

Abstract:This paper has proposed an efficient direct torque control strategy based on space vector modulation (SVM-DTC) for dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (DTP-PMSM), which is implemented in a synchronous reference frame aligned with the machine stator flux vector. This strategy adopts the space vector modulation technique to compensate for the stator flux error, and then the continuous smooth response of the vector control and the rapid response of direct torque control are both achieved. Simulation studies of a 3KW DTP-PMSM are carried out. Simulation results show the improvement of the torque response, decrease of the torque ripple, the higher steady performance and better flux waveform.

Abstract:Permanent magnet propulsion motors need control systems that enable the motor to perform well at low speeds with large torques and little noise.The maximum torque/current vector control principle was used to develop a DSP-based digital permanent magnet synchronous motor propulsion system.The motor uses a ac-dc-ac pulse width modulation drive structure with proportional-integral regulations and space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM).Simulations and experimental results show that the system has quick response,low torque ripple and few harmonics,which makes it appropriable for ship propulsion systems.

Abstract:This paper designs and realizes the hardware of a PMSM control system, in which DSP is the main controller and CPLD is the auxiliary logic controller. The proposed power driver consists of three independent H-bridge inverter drive circuits. The hardware are designed including the motor phase current detection, main voltage monitoring, signal acquisition of both rotor position and speed, overcurrent protection and other related circuits. The experimental results show that the motor controller is reliable and stable with strong practicability.

Abstract:This paper introduces a Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Motor(PMSM) control system for ship electric propulsion.Based on Digital Signal Processor(DSP) of TMS320LF2407,the system is composed of hardware and software.The hardware completes the tasks of sampling,drive,protection etc.And the software carries out calculations for vector control,PI adjustment,Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM) etc.Experimental results indicate that the controller can run steadily and the timing effect is well,which provides a feasible scheme for ship electric propulsion control system.

Abstract:The high power permanent magnet (PM) traction drive has recently been highlighted due to its promising qualities such as high efficiency and power density. For better performance, a robust, efficient and reliable control and driving scheme needs to be designed. In this Paper a control scheme is designed which based on Most Torque Per Ampere (MTPA) strategy to obtain high power density and is specially designed to achieve smooth transition between constant torque mode and constant power (field weakening) mode. In addition, a novel low-frequency pulse width modulation (PWM) scheme is designed to achieve smooth transitions between various fundamental-carrier wave frequency ratios while maintaining the synchronization between stator and rotor flux throughout the entire operation range. The validity of the scheme has been proved by simulation results and experiment is underway.

Abstract:A dual Y shift 30 degree permanent magnet synchronous motor( PMSM) is basically a strong coupledsix-dimensional system. In order to simplify the control of the motor,vector space decomposition transformation is used to map the motor vectors into three two-dimensional orthogonal sub-planes,then space vector PWM technique can be used to control the torque and stator harmonic current at the same time. On the basis of this PWM technique,a detailed study of the selection and distribution of zero vectors in continuous modulation and discontinuous modulation is presented in this paper. The simulation results show that a smaller torque ripple can be received by using the continuous modulation,while the number of switching times can be significantly reduced and less stator current harmonic content can be received by using the discontinuous modulation.

Abstract:In order to achieve a better control as well as dynamic and static performance,FOC SVPWM technology is applied to the T model to establish a variable frequency speed control system.An experimental platform using the digital signal processor(DSP) based on indirect rotor field orientation is established.Experimental results show that the model is reasonable and effective in decoupling control of motor control with good dynamic and static performance,and that the method is simple and easy for application.

Abstract:Aiming at the requirements of high-precision speed control and system with high reliability of the modern high-performance permanent magnet synchronous motor( PMSM) control system, a PMSM control system with high speed and high reliability was designed. The system used DSP and CPLD as the core controller, combined with three independent H-bridge inverter drive circuits, and designed current detection circuit, current protection circuit, main voltage detection circuit and rotor position and speed detection circuit, realized the high-speed control of the PMSM. The experimental results showed that the resolver signal was very good, overcurrent signal’ s response was very fast, and the PMSM could be stable when operated at the speed of 10 000 r/min. Besides, the system also had the characteristics of high output power, superior load capacity, smooth running, quiet and so on, which proved the feasibility of the design.
