Abstract:A vector control system using TMS320F2812 digital signal processor(DSP) as the main chip for the permanent magnet synchronous spindle motor(PMSM) was proposed,which utilized the vector control priciple and the space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) method in order to decouple and control the d-q axis currents separately.Based on this,the flux-weaking control algorithm was realized through a d-axis control method based on the saturation extent of outer voltage loop,which extended the speed range of the permanent magnet synchronous spindle motor control system.The control system consists of the main power circuit,the control circuit,isolation circuit,signal detection and regulating circuit,the auxiliary power supply,display and the parameter setting circuit.It is verified through experiments that the control system is reliable,and the static and dynamic performance meets the application requirements of the CNC machine tool spindle drive.

Abstract:The permanent magnet synchronous servo system simulation model was established,based on the principle of vector control,with Id = 0 control manner,in Matlab/Simulink environment.In order to accurately simulate the actual system,add the dead zone and achieve the effect of discrete control in the simulation model.PMSM parameters of the simulation are all in accordance with the parameters of the actual motor manual.For controller,according to the traditional engineering method,figure out the parameters of current and speed loop regulator,respectively.But in development of the model and analysis of the simulation results,find 2 problems of simulation system:1)differences between simulink its own coordinate transformation module and theoretical formula,including the differences of select parameters and reference angle;2) due to problem of simulation step,the responses of discrete control system have a concussion in a certain degree.For the above-mentioned problems a detailed analysis was carried out.Finally the simulation waveform is very close to the actual system.

Abstract:This paper presents a new vector control,which overcomes drawbacks of the conventional AC servo system.The novel concept is based on predictive control and introduces the automatic differentiation method to make the calculation of the Taylor coefficients into a simple numerical calculation. The permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) model and a quadratic performance index of the system error are expressed by the Taylor expansions.Then solving the Jacobian matrix is transformed into solving the sensitivity of the Taylor coefficients.Combined with the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm,the concept has been developed by a new speed controller of PMSM.Results of dSPACE real-time simulation show that the designed controller improves the system robustness,and has good dynamic and static characteristics.

Abstract:According to the analysis of mathematical model for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in the d-q coordinate system, space vector width modulation(SVPWM) technology is introduced to the design of PMSM control system. The paper builds dual-closed loop control system of SVPWM for PMSM, and the outer loop is speed loop, the inner loop is current loop, at the same time, the paper builds the simulation models and makes simulation in Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results show that the SVPWM technology applied to the control system of PMSM is very successful, and dynamic performance of control system is very good. So the application of SVPWM technology in PMSM provides a new thoughtful way for PMSM control system designing and debugging in actual application.

Abstract:The vector control method is commonly used to permanent magnet synchronous motor.Disadvantage of this approach is which parameters change,load disturbance and other factors have a great impact on system stability and controllability.This paper analyzes the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor and presents a predictive control strategy based on linearizing its mathematical mode.Simulation results show that the permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control system which is established by the mothed has good control effect.

Abstract:This paper presents a low-voltage & high-power Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) control system, which is composed of a double closed-loop flux oriented vector-controller based on TMS320F2812 chip and a self-design MOSFET converter. Firstly, the mathematical model of PMSM is built and the theory of vector-control is analyzed. Then the hardware and the software structures of the system are introduced in detail. Finally, the experiment results show that the system running smoothly and possesses the characteristics of good speed regulation performance. This system will have broad application prospects in the low-voltage & high-power situations.

Abstract:To the problem of complex configuration of the permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)with model nonlinearity and control difficulty,a simple mathematic model of the PMSM based on vector control is deduced,which makes the motor control implement by the across-axes current control. Based on that,the across-axes current is adjusted,and then transformed to voltage vector on two-phase stillness coordinate. A space vector control method is designed with the input variable of reference voltage on two-phase stillness coordinate. By using the advantage of digital signals processor,the digital system is implemented,and the hardware configuration and software procedure are designed. Simulation result shows that the model is correct and the system is feasible.

Abstract:This paper presents space-vector PWM (SVPWM) and modulation algorithm for three-level inverter in detail. Then a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) speed control system is designed using strategy of coordinate transformation, rotor flux-oriented control, three-level vector control and direct torque control (DTC). The distinguishing features of the system are that the three-level inverter has the less harmonic of output line voltage and output line current, the output torque can smoothly follow the track of input torque and output torque has the less fluctuation. The results of simulation show that the performance of the control system is excellent.

Abstract:The advantage and disadvantage of the common control methods for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) are analyzed. Combined the sine pulse-width modulation (SPWM) and field oriented control (FOC) algorithm, a novel control method of the space vector pulse-width modulation with single closed loop is presented. In MATLAB-Simulink, based on the mathematic model of PMSM, used the S-function and the algorithm of single-loop space vector pulse-width modulation (SL-SVPWM) a servo-model of PMSM is established. Via experiment, compared SPWM method to SL-SVPWM method, the different results of phase current waveform of PMSM are drawn; and the dynamic response behavior of the motor which driven by the method of SL-SVPWM is analyzed. The results of the simulation and experiment verified that the SL-SVPWM method in this paper simplified the control system of PMSM, and this control method has better control stability.

Abstract:In this paper,based on the mathematical model of the permanent-magnet sychronous-motor(PMSM),a new way of PMSM vector control system model has been taken on.In matlab6.5/simlink,the isolated functional blocks,such as speed controller block,vector controller block,coordinate transform block,SPWM block etc.has been modeled.There are some blocks such as PMSM block,voltage inverter block which are provided by matlab6.5/simlink.By the organic combination of these blocks,a double loop of control system,the speed loop and a current loop are established.The validity has been testified by the simulation results and other control strategies can be applied to the system to testify their rationality.This novel method offers a new thought way for PMSM control system designing and debugging in actual application.

Abstract:The key of control of a motor is the effective control of electromagnetic torque.A new control technique called direct control of current vector was proposed based on the comparison between the basic principles of vector control(VC) and direct torque control(DTC) for surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor(SPMSM).Similar to VC,the basic idea was to control the amplitude and phase of stator current vector.Similar to DTC,this new control technique was based on two-phase stationary frame without decoupling of the stator current,and with two Bang-Bang controllers,the amplitude and phase of stator current vector were regulated through the selection of appropriate space voltage vectors,and then excellent dynamic torque response was achieved.Simulation results show that the direct control technique of current vector for SPMSM control system has excellent static and dynamic performance but with a small amount of calculation,and has strong robustness with little sensitivity to motor parameters.

Abstract:The hardware platform of magnetic field orientation vector control system for permanent magnet syschronous motor(PMSM) was designed based on TMS320F2812.The algorithm of control program was completed based the hardware platform.The experiment of this platform was carried out under current closed-loop and full closed-loop experimental,and obtained the dynamic and steady experiment results.The results indicate that the system has excellent performance.

Abstract:Considering the higher harmonic distortion and higher torque ripple caused by traditional PWM strategy when applied to electric vehicles,a permanent magnet synchronous motor system based on space vector pulse width modulation strategy for electric vehicle application was designed.The principle of space vector pulse-width modulation is described in detail,and the vector control system for PMSM was set up in MATLAB/Simulink.The id=0 control strategy was used,and the system dynamic response was simulated.Digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320F28335 of TI company was used as the main control chip to set up the experimental platform.The system status and efficiency below the base speed was studied in experiments.The simulation results and the experimental results show a good consistency.It provides practical value to PMSM system design and analysis.

Abstract:In this paper,base on the mathematical model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM),a PMSM rotor field oriented vector control system model has been established.In the triple loops of control system,two PI controllers are adopted in the speed and position loop,a stator field-oriented vector controller is adopted in the current loop in order to control the torque instantaneous.The simulation models the whole procession of constant torque starting,invariable power running,and inverse torque braking and the simulation result realizes position accurate control of the servo system.

Abstract:This paper presents a full-digital vector control integrated circuit(IC) for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with considering hardware structure. We adopted top-down and modular partitioning logic optimization design. Design specification of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) unit, vector coordinate transformation are illustrated. All of the modules were implemented with pure hardware and designed with Verilog hardware description language (HDL). Moreover, the proposed design was verified by Simulink-Matlab and field programmable gate array (FPGA).
