Abstract:Civil engineering is a traditional technology,which requests high engineering quality and practical ability for students.There are a number of problems on the innovation ability training in universities.Combined with the actual work about innovation ability training of civil engineering majors in Huazhong University of Science and Technology,we discussed the following three aspects,which were strengthening course construction to inspire students' creative thinking,strengthening practice links to make them master basic skills,and providing them an stage to achieve innovation through various activities.The methods achieved good results.

Abstract:Training independent innovative ability for undergraduates is an important task of the modern higher education. Training mode of the independent innovative ability is an important subject of university teachers. A training mechanism of "coupling of commonalities and characteristics"and a process mode of multidimensional roundabout experimental innovation were proposed in this work. Stimulation of innovative consciousness,cultivation of innovative thinking,building-up of innovative spirit and attention of innovative practice process were set up in the mechanism and the mode. The independent innovative ability of undergraduates had been successfully trained and promoted.

Abstract:Graduate education under the background of double first-class is one of the important contents of Chinese higher education research. The cultivation of innovative ability of postgraduates is an important aspect in postgraduate education. Different from the previous methods of cultivating individual innovation ability, a group innovation ability training method based on the Synectics Method was proposed, and a studio for undergraduates, masters and doctorates was established. Through specific case analysis, it was shown that the proposed group innovation training method is feasible and efficient.

Abstract:At present, under the background of the national implementation of innovation driven development and other major strategies, how to promote the reform and innovation of engineering education, and improve the quality of innovative and entrepreneurial talents training is an important task for colleges and universities. Traditional training courses are hard to keep up with social development due to their staid training methods. In order to further improve students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability, we propose an innovative training method based on the process of design thinking, and practices the method in some training courses by together with enterprise instructor. Results show that this training framework performs well and students can adapt to current market needs better.

Abstract:Under the background of the nation's innovation-driven development, college students' engineering practice and scientific and technological innovation training are the inevitable way for students to become talents, and also one of the important yardsticks for measuring the practical teaching level of higher education institutions of engineering. Based on the current situation of undergraduates' needs for innovative ability and scientific literacy, this paper proposes the "integrating of knowledge and action" innovation ability cultivation and teaching concept. By building a tree-shaped knowledge system and a laddered innovation ability cultivation model, with promotion of innovative practice methods of "undergraduate tutorial system" and "undergraduates into the lab", to effectively advance the reform of innovative practice teaching for undergraduates. The comparative results of teaching practice verified the effectiveness of the "integrating of knowledge and action" innovation ability training model and method, and on the basis of summarizing the teaching practice activities, the inspiration and suggestions for follow-up college teaching reform are proposed. The cultivation mode and method of innovation ability proposed in this paper has universal applicability, which has positive reference significance for the innovation of teaching ideas in higher education institutions and the promotion of practice teaching reform in colleges and universities.

Abstract:With the development of science and technology, all teachers in the college will face how to stimulate the undergraduate student’s ability and make them to be an excellent engineer.
