Abstract:Objective To improve the teaching effects of medical image processing.Methods Teaching content was reformed considering the problems encountered during clinical practice and research. Modern teaching methods such as problem-based learning and flipped classroom were adopted. In addition, professors from world famous Universities were invited to teach lessons.A website was also built for this course.Moreover,the students were encouraged to participate in after-class research.Finally,a new practice-based teaching mode with characteristic content and modern methods was developed.By adopting information technology,all-round students could be gifted with international vision.Results The students'interest was stimulated and their problem solving skills were improved.Conclusion The teaching effects of medical image processing can be largely improved by research,so that the students can not only master the course content well but also develop skills to solve practical problems.

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of multidimensional Chinese orthopedics teaching practice teaching method.Methods The choice of traditional Chinese medicine, Changchun level 2011 Department of traditional Chinese medicine four class 192 students as the object of study, from March 2015 to June 2016 as study time points, to the class as a unit grouping, before two classes as the control group, application routine teaching method for practical teaching, two classes as the experimental group, using multi-dimensional teaching method teaching, through tests and teachers' questionnaire form contrast two teaching methods of teaching effect and clinical practical effect at the end of the semester.Results In the control group, the average score of the ifnal examination (81.37±1.60), 80.04% of the teachers' satisfaction during the internship period. In the experimental group, the average score of the ifnal examination (92.52±2.27), and the patients' satisfaction degree was 91.71%. Compared with the two groups of students learning achievement and practice, the results have significant statistical differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Multidimensional practice teaching in traditional Chinese orthopedics is very positive and positive inlfuence, which not only can signiifcantly improve the speed and quality of teaching, better able to from many aspects, improve the quality of orthopedics and traumatology, and can be applied in the teaching work.

Abstract:Objective To explore the advantages and application value of "image-based learning"method in ultrasound technology for standardized residents training of radiologists. Methods There were 50 residents of other imaging departments who studied from 2010 to 2017 in the ultrasound department of Peking University Third Hospital of were divided into two groups: the control group and the experimental group. The experimental group was 25 doctors, the control group was 25 doctors. Image-based learning method was applied in the experimental group, while traditional teaching method was applied to the control group. By the end of the training, the training effect of image-based learning teaching method was evaluated by comparing the examination scores of the two groups after ultrasound training, and the satisfaction degree of image-based learning teaching method for experimental group was evaluated by questionnaire survey. Results The average examination score of experimental group after ultrasound training was significantly higher than that of the control group [(87. 74±6. 21) VS. (81. 99±9. 84),t= 2. 48,P<0. 05]. Meanwhile, 100. 0％(25/ 25) in the experimental group believed that the image-based learning teaching method was helpful to consolidate the knowledge of ultrasound, stimulated learning interest and clinical reasoning capacity and facilitated the learning of ultrasound skills. 96. 0％ (24/ 25)in the experimental group agreed that the image-based learning teaching method was helpful to enhance self-learning ability and participation consciousness. Conclusions Image-based learning teaching method has a certain application value in the training of ultrasound skill of radiologists.

Abstract:Objective: To explore the application effect of virtual simulation experiment combined with picture archiving and communication system (PACS) in medical imaging practical teaching. Methods: 97 students from the medical imaging class of 2022 were divided into two groups; the control group (n = 48) was taught by the traditional teaching method, whereas the research group was taught by virtual simulation experiment combined with PACS (n = 49). The teaching achievements and teaching effects of the two groups were compared to define the advantages of the two teaching modes. Results: Initially, there were no significant differences in the basic theory, image analysis, report writing, and differential diagnosis scores between the two groups of students (P > 0.05); however, after 16 weeks of teaching, the scores of the research group were better than those of the control group (P < 0.05); the pass rate of students in the study group (93.88%) was higher than that in the control group (81.25%); the scores of students in the research group in terms of clinical inquiry skills, X-ray/computed tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (X-ray/CT/MRI) operation skills, and doctor-patient communication skills were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: In medical imaging practical teaching, the application of virtual simulation experiment combined with PACS can effectively address several problems in the traditional teaching mode, including the single teaching method, the single teaching content, and the lack of innovation, and, at the same time, improve students’ basic theoretical knowledge, X-ray/CT/MRI operation skills, consultation skills, and doctor-patient communication skills, thereby effectively improving the teaching quality and learning effect.

Abstract:Objective To explore the ways to improve the learning effect of medical imaging for clinical medical students by timely improving the teaching time,adjusting the teaching time,and adopting diversified teaching methods.Methods Theoretical Test,Film Reading Skill Test and questionnaire were used to compare and analyze the learning differences of clinical medical students after the reform teaching mode and traditional teaching mode.Results The scores of theoretical test,film Reading Skill Test and self-made questionnaire were higher after the reform of teaching model than those of the control group when there is no significant difference in the teaching force.Conclusion It is possible to improve the clinical students'theoretical achievements,reading skills,learning effects and combine the probation teaching with the clinical course by raising the probation teaching time timely,adjusting the probation teaching time and adopting diversified teaching methods.The reform of teaching model made students fully digest,deepening,integration clinical and imaging knowledge.The reform of teaching model made students better services to patients.

Abstract:Abstract Background We combined anatomy with imaging, transformed the 2D information of various imaging techniques into 3D information, and form the assessment system of real medical imaging cases in order to make up for the deficiencies in the current teaching of the medical imaging technology students. Methods A total of 460 medical imaging students were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The research group received the teaching of the fusion of the original CT and MR data 3D model and the original image combined with 3D anatomical image. CT and MRI data are imported through load DICOM of 3D slicer. Different tissues and organs are segmented by threshold and watershed algorithm of segment editor module. Models are exported through export / import models and label maps in segmentation. Save the NHDR file of the original data and Obj file of the corresponding model through save the NHDR and corresponding Obj files are loaded into probe 1.0 software. The software can give different colors to the three-dimensional models of different organs or tissues to display the stereo models and related data, and display the hook edges of organ models on coronal, sagittal and axial images. At the same time, annotation can be established in the corresponding anatomical position. Finally, it can be saved as a single file of Hwl, and the teaching can be opened at any time through the program of probe 1.0. Statistical analysis Academic self-efficacy scale and Self-directed learning ability scale was adopted by self-directed learning evaluation scale between two groups. Results Compare the theoretical scores and case analysis scores of the two groups. The scores of the study and control groups were significantly higher than those of the control group. Before the experiment, no significant difference was detected in the self-efficacy of learning ability and learning behavior between the two groups, while after the experiment, these differences between the two groups were statistically significan. Moreover, the learning ability self-efficacy and learning behavior of the two groups of students after the experiment was significantly higher than that before the experiment. The self-efficacy of the learning behavior of the control group was higher after the experiment than that before the experiment, albeit the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusions The modern, information-based and humanized experimental teaching mode will be constantly improved under the support of PACS system in order to optimize the medical imaging teaching activities for the development of modern medical education.

Abstract:Objective To discuss the effect of “practice teaching methods ” in musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnosis training process .Methods Thirty refresher doctors for a month with the method training .The effect training is evaluated by objective exam and questionnaire survey .Results Thirty refresher doctors received tests before and after the training .Test results showed that the accuracy after the training was significantly higher than that of before ( P<0.05 ) .Refresher doctors survey about satisfaction of the training method showed that whole satisfaction is 100%, in which 70%were very satisfied , 30%were satisfied .The self-assessment results for the improvement of the level of diagnosis musculoskeletal ultrasound showed that 45%doctors are very satisfied ,40%doctors are satis-fied, and 15%is not satisfied .Conclusions With the implementation of “teaching by practice” method, refresher doctors could master the knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy as soon as possible , and have the ability to diagnose common musculoskeletal diseases independently .

Abstract:Objective:Based on the research results of the national continuing medical education project "musculoskeletal ultrasound and new technology quality class" held by the Department of Ultrasound Diagnosis of Peking University Third Hospital, to explore and analyze the effect of basic and applied teaching method based on musculoskeletal ultrasound.Methods:Totally 109 participants attending the classes held on April 14-18, 2019 and on September 9-13, 2019 were selected as study objects, and the training effects of quality private classes were evaluated by questionnaires, operational tests and theoretical tests. SPSS 21.0 was used for t test. Results:The results showed that more than 80% of students were satisfied with the teaching content, teaching plan and teaching materials. Through the class training, the greatest gains of the students were that the operation ability [67 cases (30.7%)] and the theoretical level [53 cases (24.3%)] had been significantly improved. All 109 students passed the operation test. There were no statistical differences in the average scores of theoretical tests among the students with different professional titles, academic qualifications and whether they were from primary hospitals (75-80 points, P>0.05) . Conclusion:The musculoskeletal ultrasound quality private class can improve the students' operating ability and theoretical level in the musculoskeletal system. The class model can guarantee the teaching quality and provide a new direction for continuing medical education.

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of SPOC combined seminar teaching in the Advanced Nursing Practice course for postgraduates of master of nursing specialist（MNS）. Methods The MNS students were divided into the control group（n=33） and the experimental group（n=29） according to their class. The experimental group employed SPOC combined seminar teaching,while the control group used traditional teaching. The critical thinking ability of the two groups was evaluated by the Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory before and after the teaching respectively. Besides,the theoretical test and comprehensive report scores,teaching quality evaluation and teaching satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After teaching,the critical thinking ability score of the experimental group（300.97±26.45） was higher than that of the control group（283.67±17.39）,and the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）. Similarly,the score on the comprehensive report and the evaluation of teaching quality of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group（P＜0.05）. In addition,the satisfaction of the experimental group in the two aspects of “helping to improve clinical problem analysis ability”and “helping to improve clinical nursing ability” was significantly higher than that of the control group（P＜0.05）.Conclusion The application of SPOC combined seminar teaching method in Advanced Nursing Practice courses can effectively improve the critical thinking ability among postgraduates of MNS,and enhance the learning effect,teaching quality as well as students’ satisfaction toward teaching.

Abstract:Ultrasound use has expanded dramatically among the medical specialties for diagnostic and interventional purposes, due to its affordability, portability, and practicality. This imaging modality, which permits real‐time visualization of anatomic structures and relationships in vivo, holds potential for pre‐clinical instruction of students in anatomy and physical diagnosis, as well as providing a bridge to the eventual use of bedside ultrasound by clinicians to assess patients and guide invasive procedures. In many studies, but not all, improved understanding of anatomy has been demonstrated, and in others, improved accuracy in selected aspects of physical diagnosis is evident. Most students have expressed a highly favorable impression of this technology for anatomy education when surveyed. Logistic issues or obstacles to the integration of ultrasound imaging into anatomy teaching appear to be readily overcome. The enthusiasm of students and anatomists for teaching with ultrasound has led to widespread implementation of ultrasound‐based teaching initiatives in medical schools the world over, including some with integration throughout the entire curriculum; a trend that likely will continue to grow. Abstract:Standardized patient and multimedia technique were introduced into case discussion, so that the teaching of simulating diagnosis and treatment was established successfully, which is case - and problem - based emulating teaching and learning essentially. Simulating diagnosis and treatment could improve the students' capability of problem analysis and problem solving during clinical process, and showed good effect in the teaching of operative dentistry and endodontics.

Abstract:To explore an integration teaching method, idea and pattern in clinical medicine and basic medicine. Conventional teaching methods or patterns, to some extent, restrict the development of modern medical education. And the relatively separated and independent teach in clinical medicine and basic medicine restrain students from well developing. In this study, case-based integration teaching (CBIT) patterns were applied instead of conventional patterns. The CBIT patterns include: case-question-discussion; ideas of diagnosis and treatment; multimedia-aided and bilingual teaching and cultivation of innovation ability. The result shows that the satisfaction rate is 100% in CBIT class, and the rates of interest, understanding memory ability, enlightenment of diagnosis thinking and innovation of scientific research in CBIT class are significantly higher than those in conventional class. Similarly results are founded when we applied CBIT in pathology teaching. On the base of this, we should explore a new model of teaching which combines clinical medicine with basic medicine as an integrated pattern.

Abstract:The experience of teaching physical diagnostics for foreign students from selection of tutor and textbooks, construction and prac?tice of reinforcing clinical skills oriented teaching and evaluating system were summarized by a hospital. The results showed that compared with the Chinese medical students, there's no significant difference between foreign medical students and Chinese students (85. 0 ± 13. 55 vs 92. 6 ± 7. 31, P>0. 05). Excellent at clinical skills(>95 score)account for 51. 1% of the total foreign medical students. Thus come to the conclusion that the effect of teaching diagnostics can be improved by enhancing clinical skills training oriented diversified teaching and evaluation systems, then pro?mote the medical teaching of foreign students.

Abstract:Objective To explore the application of problem-based learning (PBL) combined with simulated standardized patient (SP) teaching mode in teaching diagnostics of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods From March 2016 to March 2017, 153 students in three classes of undergraduate clinical medicine specialty in grade 2013 were selected as the subjects of study, who were taught by the same professor in the theoretical courses, and the teaching contents were all about the diagnostic methods of AMI. The students were randomly divided into control group, PBL group and experimental group with 51 cases in each group. The control group received traditional teaching mode, the PBL group received PBL and theoretical teaching mode, and the experimental group received PBL and SP teaching mode. The theoretical results, medical record writing, students′ satisfaction and teachers′ satisfaction with students′ performance were compared among the three groups. Results The scores of medical record writing [(80.56±7.23)points] and theoretical knowledge [(79.84±5.63)points] in the experimental group were higher than those in the PBL group [(76.24±6.45)points, (74.28±5.05)points] and control group [(70.21±6.13)points, (69.56±4.89)points]. The differences were statistically significant (F1=31.45, 49.95, all P<0.01). The scores of physical examination [(17.38±1.27)points], medical history [(49.47±1.34)points] and chief complaint [(16.82±0.67)points] of the experimental group were higher than those of PBL group [(14.23±1.06)points, (44.88±1.21)points, (13.26±0.54)points] and control group [(11.55±0.98)points, (40.52±1.04)points, (10.97±0.61)points]. The differences were statistically significant (F=352.43, 705.92, 1 195.02, all P<0.01). Teachers′ satisfaction with students′ performance in the experimental group was (42/51, 82.35%) higher than that in the PBL group (60.78%, 37/51) and the control group (43.14%, 22/51) (χ2=16.72, P<0.01). Conclusion The application of PBL combined with SP teaching mode in teaching diagnostics of AMI can effectively improve students′ learning enthusiasm and initiative, improve students′ and teachers′ satisfaction, improve teacher-student relationship and teaching quality. Abstract:Background: Traditional methods of training in ultrasound technology make it difficult for postgraduate reproductive medicine students to rapidly develop into doctors who can perform clinical examinations independently. It is necessary to explore an efficient method for ultrasound training. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the step-by-step (SBS) teaching improves the ultrasound diagnosis and clinical work level of reproductive medicine graduate students. Methods: A total of fifty postgraduate reproductive medicine students who participated in ultrasound room training were selected at random and divided into two groups: a traditional teaching control group and a stepwise teaching experimental group. A comparison was subsequently conducted between the two groups in terms of theoretical level, skill operation, comprehensive ability and teaching evaluation. Results: In terms of theory, skills, and comprehensive assessment, the experimental group exhibited superior performance compared to the control group (P < 0.05). The experimental group rated the instructors' teaching ability and methods significantly better than did the control group (P < 0.05). The experimental group's overall satisfaction with the training was better than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusions: The stepped teaching model has the potential to facilitate the acquisition of clinical ultrasound detection and diagnostic techniques by postgraduate reproductive medicine students, thereby enhancing their overall competence and satisfaction with the teaching process.
