THE CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY FEATURES AND CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENTS WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASE COMPLICATED TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS

Abstract:Objective To explore the characteristics of clinical manifestation and artery lesion in coronary heart disease patients combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). Methods 313 cases of Coronary heart disease(CHD) confirmed by coronary angiography were divided into T2DM group and NDM group according to whether or not combined with T2DM.We analyzed and compared two group in the general condition,clinical data,serum markers and coronary angiographic findings.According to coronary lesion morphology classification standards and SYNTAX score,we can qualitatively and quantitatively evaluated coronary artery lesions. Results Compared with NDM group,the ratio of hypertension,hyperglycemia and acute coronary syndrome were much more in T2DM group;Serum triglyceride(TG) increased,high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C) decreased in T2DM group(p0.05).The proportion of multiple vessel disease,diffuse change,complicated lesions and arteriostenosis,vessel lesions of type C and SYNTAX score was significantly higher in T2DM group.There were no significant differences in ages,history of smoking,total cholesterol(TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) in both groups. Conclusion The T2DM patients complicating CHD have more chance accompanied with risk factors such as hypertension,hyperglycemia,the proportion of ACS in DM group were higher,and have more accompanied with multiple vessel disease,diffuse change,complicated lesions and arteriostenosis.
