Change of High Sensitive CRP and WBC Count in Coronary Heart Disease Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the change of high sensitive CRP and WBC count in different types of coronary heart disease patients and discuss the meaning of the change. Methods Total 120 patients underwent coronary angiography were selected according to inclusion criteria. They were divided into two groups, 78patients with coronary heart disease while the other 42 patients not only have coronary heart disease but also have type 2 diabetes. Evaluate their WBC,TC,TG,LDL-C,FPG,hs-CRP and some regular tests on the morning of their second day in hospital.Results The level of hs-CRP, WBC and FPG in coronary heart disease patients with type 2 diabetes was much higher than those in coronary heart disease.Conclusion hs-CRP, WBC and FPG may be the risk factors of the coronary heart disease patients with type 2diabetes, and inflammation involved the whole process.
