INVESTIGATION AND DEVELOPMENT ON LNG FLOW PROCESS SIMULATION SYSTEM

Abstract:Even though some domestic scholars have developed programs on simulating certain LNG flow process, special LNG process simulation system can not be found for present Chinese LNG industry. In order to keep up the pace with the rapid development of LNG industry in China, we need a professional simulation software which can simulate, design, and optimize the LNG flow process to promote the nationalization of LNG industry. This paper introduced a newly developed simulation system of LNGSims, which could draw up the LNG flow process model by configuration and modeling tools and could also judge if the model was corrected by autotest, i. e., if correct, the model would be simulated and calculated after crosscutting; if not correct, the related information would clue to the operators for modification. LNGSims has been proved to be easy to handle by operators because of its good ability of user interaction. Through its application in a certain LNG factory, the LNGsims performed well with high accuracy and could meet the actual requirement of the LNG manufacturers.
