Abstract:In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the mental health of Chinese college students. The mental health and happiness of college students have become the focus of the government, schools and society. As a special group of society, college students are in the period of personality improvement and development, and their psychological endurance and adjustment ability is relatively weak. Their high self-positioning makes their desire for success very strong. When faced with economic, academic, employment, emotional and other aspects of pressure, often due to improper handling of psychological problems. With the continuous development of psychology, “overall happiness” has gradually become an important comprehensive psychological index to measure people’s mental health. The intervention of mental health education can significantly improve the level of college students’ mental health and subjective well-being. The intervention of mental health education should become an important content and approach of college students’ mental health education.

Abstract:Compared with the previous teaching environment and model, college students need more self-awareness and self-discipline to learn better. In order to solve many mental health problems of college students, this work studies that the school should increase policy support to relevant parties and strengthen the cultivation of college students' psychological counseling ability, so as to provide more psychological counseling services for college students. This work studies and analyzes the common problems in contemporary college students' mental health education, such as lack of teachers, mere formality, imperfect system, and poor pertinence, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures for college students' mental health education. When college students enter the university, they need to further improve their knowledge and ability to achieve professional development in a relatively loose learning environment. University is a key period for college students' personality improvement and physical and mental development. With the increasing pressure of social employment, the psychological pressure of college students is increasing. This study provides a reference for the mental health problems of college students.

Abstract:At present, college students' mental health education is facing many challenges. Effective mental health education can help students cope with stress better, improve their self-regulation ability and enhance their psychological resilience, thus improving their academic performance and quality of life. Based on this, this study aims to explore the role of promoting counselors in college students' mental health education, and put forward corresponding implementation suggestions. Measures such as strengthening professional training, establishing effective communication mechanism, optimizing working environment and conditions, and enhancing influence can help counselors play their roles better and provide strong support for students' mental health. By studying the role of counselors in college students' mental health education, this paper can enhance the social attention to college students' mental health education, promote the formulation and implementation of relevant policies, and create a good social environment for the healthy growth of college students. At the same time, it can also improve counselors' professional identity and job satisfaction, and promote the stability and development of counselors.

Abstract:In recent years, the phenomenon of college students’ indifference to life occurs frequently which seriously damages the healthy growth of college students. Life education should be integrated into mental health education courses in colleges. Experiential teaching is a type of teaching activity that is characterized by students’ personal experiences and initiative, focusing on the participation of practical activities. Compared with traditional lectures, it improves students’ interest and enthusiasm. In the mental health course, experiential teaching applies theoretical knowledge to real life and promote the improvement of students’ mental health to shape stable and mature personalities and eventually, promotes the development of life. College students’ mental health course should be integrated with experiential teaching practice in the perspective of life education, so as to better improve the teaching effect and guide students to form a correct outlook of life.

Abstract:Nowadays, university graduates are major contributors of social development , therefore their psychological health draws attention of the whole society. Facing the mental health problems of college students , the reasons of effective countermeasures were researched, and some suggestions for solving the college mental health problems were provided. This paper argues that the current mental health problems are complex and diverse, mainly from the social environment, the negative energy oriented education, family education and school students self concept development imbalance caused by four aspects. Abstract:Students' mental health has always been a hot topic in colleges and universities. Students want to improve their competitiveness; not only must they have superb professional skills, but at the same time, they must have good social adaptability. Abstract:Mental health courses have been adopted in many colleges. However, there are many defects with the current education mode of mental health. This paper aims to develop an easy-to-use and effective mental health teaching model based on group counselling. Two classes were selected from an experimental middle school. One of the class (experimental class) was provided with group counseling on mental health, while the other (control class) did not receive any intervention. The mental health data of the two classes were measured for comparison. The data analysis shows that the mental health of the experimental class was generally improved through the group counselling; the two classes had significant difference in mental health after the experiment; the group counselling significantly boosted the positive emotions, yet only slightly improved the depression and toughness. The research results lay the basis for application of psychological techniques in mental health education.

Improving the interpersonal communicative capacity for college students is an important task for mental health education. Conflict is one of the social interactions that occurs frequently in daily life. It is a crucial problem for college students to understand conflict correctly and settle it effectively. This paper emphasizes the importance of conflict education for college students. Meanwhile, the ways to conflict education are suggested as the reference for educators and counselors, which will be meaningful for college students to develop their communication abilities and improve their mental health level.
Research on the Application of Expressive Art Therapy in the Teaching of Mental Health Education Courses for College Students

Abstract:Mental health education courses hold a pivotal role in nurturing the psychological well-being of college students and shaping their future development. This paper explores the integration of expressive art therapy into mental health education courses and its impact on college freshmen's mental health and classroom satisfaction. Drawing on a non-random cluster sampling method, 198 students from a university in Shandong Province participated, with half forming the experimental expressive art group and the other half constituting the control traditional group. Results demonstrated that the expressive art group experienced significant improvements in mental health, with higher scores in self-affirmation and lower scores in anxiety and depression compared to the control group. The study emphasizes a student-centered approach, focusing on experiential learning and self-expression, facilitated through music, painting, and psychodrama. It also highlights the role of expressive arts therapy in reducing self-defense mechanisms, enhancing selfexpression, and challenging negative cognitions. While the study shows promise, future research should consider longterm effect and qualitative assessments to comprehensively evaluate the clinical significance of expressive art group therapy.

Abstract:Implementing mental health education for college students is an important aspect of achieving the educational goal of fostering virtue and cultivating people in universities in the new era. It has great significance for enhancing universities' humanistic care and improving college students' self-awareness.
